We have a family of four, and it was more than enough space for us to relax. The kids loved the bunk beds. The location was great, right next to mount hood brewing company and government camp. Also the quick drive to go skiing at Mount Hood Meadows was a plus.

You can’t beat being at the mountain for hitting the slopes and trails especially on a weekend. The condo is well kept and the couch fits many folks comfortably. We have stayed at the location twice and loved it. This time the hot tub was filled with kids and drinkers, so not as serene as our first time.

Comfy family sofa. Good place for our 2 young kids ages 3 and 5. Fun sledding next door. Pet friendly. Used kitchen every day. Kids loved the bunk bed.
Megan B. Jan 2019
We had such a great time and loved that it wasn't a high-traffic corner. Our son loved seeing the cars go by on Hwy 26. Close to the hottub and quick stroll to Govy. Loved having all the kiddo stuff too.

Truly enjoyed my stay here, would recommend for winter or summer fun. Clean, well appointed, great location, all you can ask for.
Andy M. Jul 2018
We loved that we could walk to town, the pool and adventure park easily. The condo was big and our kids loved the foosball table. The traffic noise wasn’t bad for the front bedroom if you kept the windows closed and fan going.
Marta G. Jul 2018
This townhouse was close to everything we needed for our one night stay. A few restaurants we could walk to and Mt. Hood adventure park. We were a party of five. The bedroom with the bunk beds was right by the highway so we had to keep the window closed due to loud traffic. The queen bed was super uncomfortable and rickety.
Rajan P. Jun 2018
Good cozy place in Government Camp. Really close to Alpine Slies and other activities (less than a mile).
Alicia E. Apr 2018
The condo was comfortable. Bring oil if you plan to cook bc non stick pans were worn but there were plenty of them. Just no oil. Toiletries and laundry soap were stocked. Space was great for our group. Stairs were many after a day of skiing but nothing a trip to the hot tub didn’t fix. There were enough towels for hot tub and clean ones for showers. Hwy 26 was out back door but was not intrusive so didn’t bother us. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity!

So far I have stayed in two different condos in Collins Lake Resort. You can't beat the location if you are planning on skiing or enjoying the snow. The condos have always been very clean. This particular unit is missing some essentials in the kitchen such as a cutting board, spatula and a large pot, so keep that in mind. The beds and sofa are super comfortable! If you rent this unit when it's warm weather, be aware that the back faces the highway and can be noisy. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would come back.
Manager response:
We were able to locate a spatula and cutting board while inspecting kitchen inventory and apologize if our guests struggled to locate these items. We have added an additional cutting board, spatula, and two more large pots. Thank you!

This is such a great spot, walking distance to restaurants and shops, so close to Summit for great ski lessons and easy runs. The kids loved it, including the swimming pool and hot tubs in the snow.
Kimberley M. Feb 2018
Great Location and property - so close to Government Camp and to all mountain ski areas
Eric L. Jan 2018
Everything was great. Beds were comfortable, the place had everything that we needed. Outside deck was loud, due to being right on 26, but not a big deal.
Alexandra F. Dec 2017
Great location, clean, very comfortable, lots of little extras to make you feel at home.
Ayla R. Dec 2017
My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday and it was a great get away. Not A ton of snow in government camp yet but loved the location and resort it’s self.
Janessa C. Oct 2017
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful and cozy getaway for our 2 year anniversary. The staff worked very quickly to ensure my stay was successful. I reached out to VACASA because my airbnb cancelled on me the day of. Very impressed with the costumer service and how clean and in order the home was. I would recommend not only this place but VACASA to anyone.
Shannon C. Aug 2017
We enjoyed our stay in Government camp. The pool and hot tubs are great for families and there was enough space for everyone to spread out.
Darcy M. Jul 2017
Overall the condo was very nicely furnished, comfortable beds. The only negative is the proximity to the highway. It was difficult to sleep with the windows open on a warm summer night.
Lauren J. Jun 2017
Comfortable, cozy, great location. Beautifully decorated!
Roger T. May 2017
Was a nice place with everything we needed.
Furniture was nice but comfortable. Great place with our daughter and dog!
Emberley R. Mar 2017
Overall, it was a very convenient place to stay. The condo was a good size for our party of 4 and having the garage available to park in was really convenient and helpful. I would consider trying out other Collins Lake units for future stays, but not sure I would stay in the same unit again. Generally, Unit #146 could just use some sprucing up / slight upgrades to make it a really nice option for future stays.
Elsa M. Feb 2017
Great place to stay for you mountain getaway. Really clean and comfortable beds.
Sarah K. Feb 2017
This home offers cozy seating in the living room to enjoy each other's company and clean kitchen space for making food and hot cocoa after a day in the snow.
Cynthia O. Jan 2017
the condo was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. It was perfect for a family skiing vacation.
Paul D. Dec 2016
Need a sooner check-in than 4pm. Need a quicker turn around time on house cleaning.
Laura D. Aug 2016
We stayed here in the summer. We loved the surrounding lakes and pool. Our location was just off of 26, so it was pretty loud in that regard. Because we had to keep the windows closed at night, it became stuffy. That being said, we loved staying there and would do it again. It would be absolutely perfect in the winter. There was a Tornado foos ball table in the garage so we got to school our children too. It was great.
Linda N. Jul 2016
Great location for walking to camps and restaurants. We will definitely be back!
Launce M. Jul 2016
We enjoyed our stay here. There's plenty to do close by. You can go hiking, kayaking, swimming, and of course skiing. The property has everything you will need to prepare meals. If you have any problems the property manager is very responsive and he will take care of the problem.
Luther T. Jul 2016
Ok
David N. Apr 2016
The location of this place may be right on Hwy 26, but it seriously does not matter. With the doors and windows closed you can't hardly hear cars passing by. The house itself is tastefully furnished, has newer granite tile counters and stainless appliances, and is literally a block's walk from all government camp has to offer. The beds were comfy, and there was even a dog bed supplied. We would definitely recommend staying here again, whether you have just two guests or 8. Thanks again for a fantastic weekend.
Josh H. Mar 2016
Enjoyed the home... comfortable, clean and convenient. Great location and amenities. Were lucky enough to have snow every day - so really enjoyed the cozy fireplace and spacious kitchen for home cooked meals. Look forward to visiting again.
Lisa L. Mar 2016
The location of this condo is very handy; walking distance to Gov't Camp stores and restaurants and close to all the ski resorts on Mt. Hood. The kids loved the pool and jacuzzi. We did not like the proximity to Hwy.26.
Joseph P. Mar 2016
We enjoyed our stay at Collins Lake Resort. The unit was very modern, everything worked and the beds were comfortable. In addition, it is very conveniently located in the heart of Government Camp.
Theodore L. Jan 2016
Having a sledding and snow play area within 100 yards was perfect for our son. Help keep him active even after being out all day. Upstairs shower yo the south was slow to drain. Had about 3" free standing water. Under furniture was extremely dirty. Our son randomly found old food and objects under couch. But honestly it was easily cleaned up. But maybe mention that to cleaning folks. The upstairs south bedroom had a smoke detector open with no battery.
Charlotte M. Aug 2015
This is a beautiful condo, with plenty of room for a family with kids. The only downside is that it backs up directly onto 26, which was very busy overnight. We could hear the highway even from the front of the house.

Otherwise, this was a really great place to stay.
Milissa K. Jul 2015
Great location and great little condo. Had some nice amenities that we did not take advantage of such as the pool/Jacuzzi or the sauna. What drew us to this place is that the allowed dogs. Was easy to keep clean and there was a pet waste area right outside the door so going in and out was a breeze. Had a great time hiking around Mt. Hood.

Government camp has a pretty good general store and a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance. I recommend the Mt. Hood brewing company. Food was pretty good and they have outdoor seating.
Todd B. Jul 2015
Property is exactly as presented, great location and well maintained. I only encountered one maintenance issue with a faulty water heater. After notifying Vacasa, they immediately sent the property manager who repaired the problem and provided his contact information if we had any more problems.
Kerri M. Mar 2015
The living room is very nicely furnished, and comfortable. This condo is located on the road so it can be loud from the road noise. The bed in the main bedroom was horrible. It was wrapped in some sort of sanitary plastic wrapping that made it feel like we were sleeping on a diaper. It made me sweaty, and was loud when we moved. The plastic makes you sweat, so you get cold, and then you wrap up in another blanket, which makes you even sweatier. It just made me feel gross, and not once did I get a good nights sleep. The disposal was broken (We didn't have time to call, but I feel confident that if we did this would have been fixed). The kitchen is pretty nicely equipped for making meals otherwise. Plenty of blankets. Plenty of towels. The boot dryer was AWESOME!! There is a terrible smell at the base of the stairs, and then the rest of the condo smelled like yucky overdose of cleaner (like there was a scent that was trying to be hidden).
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are so sorry to hear that you had difficulty sleeping on the mattress in the master bedroom. Our local staff is looking into replacing the mattress cover and we're confident that this won't be an issue for future guests. This home is well cared for and cozy. We'll pass your feedback along to the property manager to ensure our guests continue to love staying here.
Mary R. Jan 2015
Six of us and our dog stayed two nights at Collins #146 and had a great time. The condo is lovely, and the Collins Lake amenities are outstanding.
Tiffany W. Jan 2015
While we couldn't control the weather (rained buckets the first day), this was a great location to use as home base. It was nice to walk up to Govy for meals and plan the day's adventures: Skiing, sledding, hiking. The heated pool/hot tub was a nice feature and the condo was clean and cozy. We'll be back!
Nicole O. Aug 2014
Great location, Fabulous house, fun times!
Rachelle C. Jan 2014
I would highly recommend staying at Lake Collins #146 and I plan on staying there again. Hopefully the next time we stay there will be snow for skiing! This year was bizzarre and we had no snow after Christmas and Skibowl was closed for skiing. We still had a great time, the town is the cutest place and the condo met our every need. Within walking distance of everything and comfortable for all of us (4 adults and 1 child).
Lori O. Dec 2013
We had a wonderful time. Only request is to leave instructions on how to light gas fireplace. Thanks!
Teresa C. Aug 2013
Our stay was very comfortable and convenient. The condo was perfect for our small group and two little dogs. Easy walking areas for pets and nice and quiet. Enjoyed the comforts of home that the condo offered and the easy walk to Govy restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay each summer we are in town for snowboard camp!
Scott d. May 2013
Excellent location, clean and comfortable and competitively priced plus your own garage to park your car! Would definitely stay here again.
Steve L. Apr 2013
We wanted to stay at #146 because it look like our kind of place. It first allowed pets and had 2.5 bathrooms. The boys had plenty of space and the living room was very relaxing.

The decor is spot on for the area and the colors they choose are very relaxing. The upgrades in the kitchen make it like home. To be able to pull into the garage with the ski rack on was fantastic. The hot tub in the woods is one of the best in the northwest I am guessing. Easy to walk into town to grab some food or shop a bit. The view of Mt Hood out the front proves that you are in a mountain ski village.

We would stay again.
Paula V. Jan 2013
Nice and cozy. Had everything we need thank you
Emily S. Jan 2013
hot tub was hot and pool was too cold to stay for very long.
