On the slopes condo with year-round pool, hot tubs & more!

The world-class outdoor recreation of Northwest Colorado awaits at this beautiful Steamboat Springs vacation rental, a cozy condo with lovely mountain and valley views, immediate access to the Steamboat Springs Ski Resort, and gorgeous shared amenities that include a year-round heated pool, hot tubs, a game room, and a fitness center.

Built in 2009, this two-bedroom condo is located in Wildhorse Meadows, a complex that sits just three miles south of downtown Steamboat Springs. In the winter, the private Wildhorse Gondola to the base of the ski resort is just across the street, while Howelsen Hill Ski Area is only three miles away.

This comfortable home also enjoys exclusive access to the Wildhorse Athletic Club in the Trailhead Lodge next door, where you'll find an expansive gym, a game room with foosball and pool tables, as well as a year-round pool and three grotto-style hot tubs that enjoy views of the ski slopes and the surrounding mountains.

Leave your outdoor gear in a cubby by the door as you enter the second-floor living space, which features an open layout, soft carpeting, and plenty of incoming sunshine. Rest your tired ski legs on one of the plush sofas, use the WiFi to check the latest snow report, or choose a DVD favorite to watch on the flatscreen TV and Blu-ray player.

As the kids sort through a collection of games and toys, the adults can move outside for happy hour on the private deck, sharing a bottle of wine and a sunset view of the Yampa River Valley. When it's time to prepare dinner, you'll find everything you need in the full and open kitchen, from a slow cooker for tender beef stew to a dishwasher to handle the clean-up.

Between the dining table and the kitchen bar counter, there is eating space for eight inside this home. But don't forget about the gas grills and the outdoor fireplace at the Trailhead Lodge - the perfect place for an evening barbecue with friends and family.

This home has two spacious bedrooms that can accommodate nine people (with a maximum of seven adults). The master suite features a king-size bed, a flatscreen cable TV and Blu-ray player, and a full bathroom with a tub and shower. The guest room, which has a cable TV and DVD player, offers a set of full-over-full bunk beds, in addition to a twin-size trundle underneath. The second full bathroom has a shower/tub combo as well.

You'll find a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, as well as a Pack N' Play and a bouncy seat for your littlest travelers. And don't worry about any wet or snowy clothes - there's a private washer/dryer to keep everyone warm and comfortable.

You need never leave Steamboat Springs to find some of the best outdoor recreation in all of Colorado. Hop on the Wildhorse Gondola to experience Steamboat's 2,965 acres of skiable terrain and 3,368-foot vertical rise. The 165 named trails are ideal for intermediate and advanced skiers, but there's even a miniature super pipe for novice freestylers.

And because Wildhorse Meadows has some of the best amenities in town, it will always be a pleasure to come home from skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking. Take a soothing soak in one of the hot tubs, grab a workout in the fitness center, or challenge your kids to a friendly game of pool.

You'll also be within a few blocks of the free Steamboat Springs Transit and the restaurants, shops, Old Town Hot Springs, and cinemas of the Wildhorse Marketplace.

Come sun or snow, it's never a bad time to escape to Steamboat Springs - book your Northwest Colorado vacation rental today!

Our group had a very comfortable stay at Trailhead Condos. The master is good sized and the location near the gondolas made it very easy to come and go from the hill. We never made it to the outdoor pool and hot tub due to weather. An indoor option would be nice. This was a great value and space for our group. Only issues were the building is a bit warm for our Midwest tastes, no elevator which made loading/unloading a job, and the bar stools for the table and kitchen bar are not comfortable - at all. The location and the split design are a big plus and make up for minor inconveniences.

We had a wonderful stay. We were able to enjoy a bit of fresh powder and the skiing was everything I have heard about steamboat and more. The condo is comfortable, clean and the gondola could not be more convenient!
Zachary M. March 2018
Steamboat was beautiful and this condo was well-located to the resort.
Jay H. February 2018
Good location and nice building. Easy in and out. Some furnishings were a bit outdated, but overall very happy with our stay. Would come back.
Grace F. February 2018
This is a great condo if you plan to hit the slopes. Conveniently located and cozy. The hot tubs had a great view and the condo had everything you'd need. We would recommend bringing an air mattress instead of using the sleeper sofa.
Michael T. February 2018
Great location easy to get up to the mountain quickly. Bedrooms were bigger than they appear in the pictures.

The best thing about this condo is the mini gondola that quickly takes you right to the ski base village. We were a party of 5 adults. We would not suggest any more than that because the living area is compact. We cooked several meals in the condo and had everything we needed. We only used the hot tub once because it is in the lodge across the street. We had to go there first and get access cards. It is a very nicely designed area, but just not very convenient.

The place was great. The gondola made access to steamboat easy. We rode it down and snowboarded the whole day then rode it home. The place was clean and tidy.

It is obvious that the owners do not live in or inspect this unit. The blinds were ripped, not much décor, and the furniture was used and dinghy. The unit was very clean however, and quiet.
Stephanie K. July 2017
The only thing keeping me from writing this as a five star rental is the condition of the furniture in the unit. Everything that you sit on needs to be replaced. Also the trundle bed is not usable.
Manager Response:
The property manager will advise the owner of these comments so they can take them under consideration. Thank you!

This is a nice clean condo in a good location.
Chad L. March 2017
The property was well maintained, in a great location, and had the required essentials for a great stay. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself.
Kate H. March 2017
We stayed here for the skiing! A little walk to the gondola that took you up to the base of the mountain was convenient and easy. The house fit 8 of us although the extra bed in the bunk room and sofa bed were awful. My friends ended up sleeping on the floor instead!

Charging $300 cleaning fee for less than 48hr stay is absurd. No communication regarding additional charges posting to my account is very unprofessional. More specific instructions on how to leave the property, a better outline of potential additional charges, and simple courtesy and professionalism to communicate would have made a big difference.

Skying is around the corner. Was a very nice place to stay..
Andrew J. January 2017
Good lighting; generally clean; surprisingly noisy; useful washer and dryer; mattresses are marginal.

We had a great time in Steamboat at this condo. It has all the basic bedding and kitchen needs with two good-sized bedrooms. The pool area is awesome and a huge hit with the kids. The bike path is close and a beautiful, fun way to get to town. We rode the bus a couple times as well- convenient and easy. Fall is a quiet and beautiful time to visit, and this condo would be awesome in winter too!
Diane E. September 2016
Very nice place to stay. Quiet good location. Is up a flight of stairs with no elevator.
Doug G. August 2016
Great property for our family (2 adult, 2 kid) stay in Steamboat. Loads to do in town and surrounding area....not just a winter playground! Property was great and in a great location. Part of a Wyndham vacation development, apparently.
Brent B. July 2016
It was a wonderful stay with all the amenities we needed
Ann B. July 2016
A great jumping off place with a lot of the comforts of home. A peaceful neighborhood, away from the hubbub of downtown, near the ski area and with easy access to the popular sights of the area.
Karen S. June 2016
I was here with my 3 kids for our summer vacation. The location was very quiet and traffic minimal, but not far from downtown where we spent quite a bit of time. I loved the layout of the condo as the bedrooms were on either side with the common space in the middle. Perfect for my kids and I to sleep, rest, and eat. Added bonus, my big kids slept on bunk beds for the first time, they were really excited about that!!
Jeff C. March 2016
We had a great stay. Convenient location, plenty of space in the condo and nice amenities, especially the club.

when we arrived on saturday another had also rented the same unit for Friday and Saturday. I contacted Vacasa and they informed me of the mixup and through our discussion we were to move in at 4:00 on Saturday. Upon our return a 5:00 on Saturday the other tenants had not moved out and were settled in for the evening. I contacted Vacasa again and they did not call me back. I contacted the prior booking agent for the property and she assisted us in finding alternate accommodations for the evening. However, that did not provide us an opportunity to make full use of our three-day pre-purchased lift tickets. I am still waiting to hear from Vacasa to discuss my situation.
Manager Response:
We want to apologize for the mix-up that occurred with this home and that we were so difficult to reach. This home is new under our management, and there was some confusion when marking down dates that had been booked prior to our acquiring the home. Again, we understand what a frustrating situation this must have been and are very sorry that it happened. This guest has been refunded for the trouble. We have been difficult to reach due to a large increase of phone calls, but we are actively hiring and training more agents to assist us so that we can promptly respond to all of our guests.
