See Rome at its finest, just steps away from the Vatican!

This destination is a Rome tourist's dream! A stone's throw away from Vatican City, this four-bedroom vacation condo on the second floor was recently renovated, and features beautiful furnishings, an open living area, and many other comfortable touches.

This escape is located in the city's Vaticano district in the center of Rome. From your spot, you can easily walk to the Vatican and other attractions on the west side of the River Tiber, or take the underground metro to the east side of town to explore the Coliseum or throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain.

Updated and spacious, this condo has a large common area for spending time together as a group with a sofa, dining table, and kitchenette.

When you're not trying as many varieties of spaghetti and pizza as you can find, make some pasta or warm up leftovers in your kitchenette! Four hot plates, a microwave, and a refrigerator make preparing small meals easy, and you can eat around the six-seat dining table.

Four spacious bedrooms accommodate up to eight guests, so whether you're embarking on a family vacation or traveling with a school group, this large space is one of a kind. Choose one of three bedrooms with double beds, or pick the fourth bedroom with two twins. Each bedroom has its own flatscreen TV and en suite bathroom with a shower, WC, and bidet, and you'll even have access to a hair dryer so you don't have to bring your own from home!

Other amenities include free WiFi, air conditioning units in the double bedrooms, weekly linen changes, and daily room cleaning for an extra fee.

Tour the Coliseum, browse the 2,000-year-old buildings of the Roman Forum, take pictures of the Pantheon, or climb up the famous Spanish steps. You only need to walk three blocks from your condo to get to the Ottaviano metro stop where you'll be able to easily access the plethora of attractions on the east side of the river.

On a sunny day, take a walk in the Villa Borghese (one of Rome's largest public parks), enjoy the historical buildings, and make your friends back home jealous with snapshot-worthy viewpoints.

In the evening, walk just a mile southeast of your condo across the river to get to the Piazza Navona, one of Rome's best places to spend the evening. Surrounded by small restaurants and gelaterias and featuring an almost never-ending supply of street performers and artists selling their wares, this piazza lights up in the evenings.

If you're in search of a change of scenery, you could also make your way over to Trastevere, a small and charming area of Rome with winding pedestrian streets and little Italian restaurants that will make you feel like you've stepped back in time.

Of course, the highlight of this location is its proximity to the Vatican. Less than five blocks from the city within a city, your condo serves as the perfect home base for accessing all the breathtaking art, stunning sculptures, and of course the famed ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, pained by Michelangelo in the 16th century.

You'll be saying "ciao" to this spacious Italian condo before you know it! Book your stay in Rome today for a phenomenal vacation in the perfect location.

Do not book this place. The sewer smell overwhelmed the apartment because of the 2 of 4 toilets that were broken. Plumber moved our belongings around for no reason while we’re out. Limited towels, no sitting area for a full house of people. Tv didn’t work, AC in some rooms didn’t work. We had to open windows to cool but the street and courtyard noise was to much at night. Location was good however to Vatican and noise would be expected. I would not book this place again.
Manager response:
Thank you for leaving your review with us, Michael. We are sorry to see you were unhappy with your accommodations. We apologize two of the toilets were out during your visit. This has been rectified, and we hope to have another chance to impress you in the future.

The property that we stayed at in Rome was great! Perfect location and lots of space. Our Vacasa contact, Marianna, was awesome! She gave us a tour of the property, helped us arrange travel arrangements and gave us some local places to check out. Couldn’t have asked for more!

The apartment was exactly as depicted. The location is within easy walking distance of the Vatican and high end shopping such as Tiffany's, Ralph Lauren and COIN. The host (Marianna) is A+. She was extremely helpful upon arrival and checked in with us several times during the stay. Definitely would book here again.

This apartment has some great qualities: (1) Location: a few blocks from the Vatican (easy 10 min walk to the entrance of the Vatican Museum, or to St. Peter's Square), and just 2 short blocks from the Metro (Red line, 6 stops to Termini (main train station) with direct transfers to the Blue line, or to the airport (Fiumicino / DaVinci) train); (2) 4 bedroom suites for up to 2 people each, with separate bathrooms, all with showers; (3) building has a small elevator, and apartment is on the first floor (one above ground, not at ground level like US), so moving luggage in and out is not a problem; (4) nice showers (see additional notes below), and comfortable beds, and while some of the rooms have windows to the side street, it is mostly a residential area, so noise was not bad; (5) several nice restaurants, mini-supermarkets, and paneteria, all very close and the ones we tried were very good (pizza / pasta dishes). A few things to keep in mind, not in any particular order: (a) 2 of the bathrooms have smaller showers, and are elevated more than a regular step from the floor (you may notice that in the pictures if you pay attention), the other 2 bathrooms have slightly larger showers that are a bit less elevated - people with limited mobility might have a hard time getting in and out of the small showers, in our case that limited the choice of rooms but we managed fine. (b) the shower in the bathroom behind the kitchen would run out of hot water, even when the other bathrooms were not in use; the person on that room then went to another bathroom and there was plenty of hot water. (c) furniture is very basic, and while there is a 8-seat dining table, more and better sofas would make the open common area more inviting for hanging out in a group; (d) the elevator sometimes would not move, just open and close the door; since the stairs were easy, and we were just one floor up, was not a problem.
