This place was an awesome house for a lot of people. Great spaces but still privacy when you needed it. Loved staying here.

Awesome location at the end of the culdesac is Squaw. Short distance to the village and amazing view from the hot tub! Can’t be beat!

My husband and I stayed here with two other couples for a wedding in the area. Everyone had plenty of space, the views were breathtaking, kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with linens and everything else we needed. The hot tub on the deck was great too!

The house is perfect for a larger group and the location was ideal! We enjoyed the use of the kitchen and game room! Vacasa was helpful when we had a need and responded immediately! Thank you so much!

It was a really good location (more on the private side) with lots of space and activities. However, the one thing we were excited about was the jacuzzi which never function even after someone went over to "fix it." Also, the garbage bin located outside was completely full upon arrival and through out our entire stay, so we had to keep accumulating the garbage inside. Some of the light were also not functioning. Overall, we made the best out of out sty there because it is a beautiful home but it does need some attention.
Manager response:
The property manager has taken care of the trash and the lights. The team will monitor the hot tub to ensure it remains usable. Thank you!

We brought a group of ten Explorer volunteers for a weekend stay at Sandy Shore. The house was beautiful with fantastic views of the mountains. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The property is in driving distance to the lake. We would recommend this property to family and friends.

Nice location at Squaw Valley - great outdoor activities available. Large kitchen for big group to do food prep. Always had hot water when needed.
Cleanliness was less than we expected.

The place is spacious, very well located and beautiful view... the hot tub on the deck is a big attraction.

The upstairs has a great layout for hanging out in a big group, with a really nice kitchen, nice deck and two tables. The layout of the rest of the house is a bit odd but works, except that the only access to the hot tub is by either going outside around the side of the house or directly through the master suite. (Also, there is no door of any kind on the bathroom in the master suite.) Thankfully, you won't need to use the hot tub because it is broken!
Manager response:
We apologize that the breaker for the hot tub kept tripping during this guest's stay; the Property Manager is currently investigating the matter.

Really great place to stay with friends, beautiful view of a snowy mountain every morning and great places to go hiking around the area. Also the cabin is no more than a 15 minute drive from Tahoe city.

Comfortable, spacious, and convenient to Olympic Village. The home included everything for our 5 day stay, from bedding to appliances to hot tub.

Perfect location for large families - especially with teens. Although 3 bedrooms, with lofts it has more than enough room for large groups. Beautiful views and close-by access to Lake Tahoe

Great house in heart of Olympic Valley. Close to the village. Hot tub is nice. Kitchen was amazing. Some of the lights were hard to figure out, especially in the master bedroom, but this place is a vendor the price.

The stay at Sandy Way was both a great and not-so good experience. The home is situated in Squaw Valley and is easy to get to. It is near a Cul-de-sac so is quieter and has a beautiful view overlooking greens and mountains. The home is huge and offers many rooms, beds, and bathrooms. It was a great size for our family vacation.

Despite the pros, there are some maintenance and fix issues that need to be addressed immediately so that the experience can be even better. The carpet condition is very bad, especially on the stairs leading to the rooms. Even the rooms needed a deep clean. Toilet flushing handles were installed backwards and upside-down and sink handles were flipped around. These are things that should have been checked and fixed. A couple of the windows did not open and in a home without air conditioning, it was more difficult on a hot day.

The home offers many great amenities, but needs some upgrades and maintenance attention. If the conditions were improved, the stay would have been even more enjoyable.
Manager response:
The carpets have been cleaned, and the toilet handles are functional.

We took our daughter and six of her friends who are graduating from high school this year for a long weekend. The house was very big and very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful setting. We spent mornings drinking tea and coffee and reading on the balcony as we gazed at the beautiful mountains - then spent the days either hiking in the valley or tubing down the river. The evenings were spent cooking and eating and playing games and then enjoying the hot tub while gazing at the stars. We loved the place and we loved the location. I highly recommend this property.

Overall it was a great experience. There were a few small issues that can easily be attended to and would not deter us from going to the same property again in the future.
