The house was at a very quiet location with a short drive to Boothbay and other great sights to see. The wiew from the back porch was a great place to see the great sunrise and the dock was good to see eagles and seals, house could use more seating in living room.

Wow, the view from the deck was fantastic, the location couldn't be better, you are minutes from a great grocery store, beautiful Booth Bay and picture perfect places to explore. So glad we choose the Booth Bay Area as our introduction to Maine.

However, the house, although very attractive, just missed be comfortable. No real place to comfortably sit in the evenings to reminisce about the days adventure or watch a TV show/movie before heading to bed. Although it is advertised as an place for 8 the tables (in and out) only sit 6. The kitchen seating did have 4 stools at the kitchen bar, however, no place to store groceries so we had to use that area to store our shopping.

If all you're looking for is location then this is the house for you, if you need a welcoming and comfy home to veg, then maybe not so much. For me, I loved it and didn't. I have really mixed feelings.

Awesome views from the back deck.
walk down the back pathway to look out over the rock bluffs to a peaceful Maine water view. Only a few minute drive to Booth Bay , or Damariscotta/ New Castle Which has shopping and plenty of variety to eat.
This is just far enough out to enjoy some you time but close enough to make a quick run.

Overall experience was very nice. The view was excellent. The location to Booth bay harbor was very convenient. Common areas lacked comfortable furniture.

We never stay in the same home twice, but this was nice. It would have been nice to have some Kayaks (and vests) for our use. We had to rent them.

The setting was very nice. Lovely sunrises and views of the river. Quite neighborhood and a feeling a safety. Well appointed house with a very large kitchen and deck. Some fans are needed in the bedrooms on hot days. Blinds did not work properly. Overall a good experience.

I have always wanted to see Maine and July was the perfect time to escape the Texas heat. I was very fortunate to find Muirgen Enchantment by the Sea. The house is close to Boothbay which is a picturesque little harbor town with plenty of places to eat and shop. During our stay, we visited Ogunquit Beach on a Sunday and it was crowded but very beautiful. The water was very clear. On the way home we stopped in Wiscasset to eat at Red Eats and the food was awesome! It's known for the lobster rolls but I had crabcakes which were delicious and you have to try the Whoopie pie and blueberry cake.
My favorite evening at Muirgen Enchantment by the Sea was a clear night we spent laying on the dock and looking up at the beautiful sky. It was so gorgeous and we could see every star, including all the shooting stars.
The house itself was very clean and in a beautiful setting. The management company did an excellent job of providing all the details needed for our stay and it was very easy to make reservations. Overall, it was a perfect place to stay and enjoy Maine.
