Take a short stroll down to the river's edge, just 400 feet from your door, or walk into the quaint town of Plain where you'll find hot country breakfasts and BBQ fare at Old Mill Cafe, fresh coffee and gifts from Plain Hardware (a must visit!), and Plain Cellars, a small boutique winery that offers live music in the summer. Plain Hardware also offers cross-country ski rentals with over 24 km of groomed Nordic ski and snowshoeing trails within walking distance of this home. For summertime fun on and in the water, rent a pontoon boat from the Cove Resort, and head out onto Fish Lake, just seven miles from your door, or swim at Lake Wenatchee State Park, only six miles away. Hit the Stuart And Colchuck Lake Trailheads, 28 miles away. And 13 miles south, don't miss the Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth, offering a variety of restaurants, shops, and spectacular events like Oktoberfest and the annual Christmas Lighting Festival.

Parking Notes: There is parking for two vehicles in the driveway.
Water Access: There is a trail on Chelan County Public Works land, just 400 feet away, at the end of Pine Loop.
Another public river access with stairs is located just under a mile away. If walking: Head East on Pine Loop S, turn left onto Alpine Acres Rd, left onto Chapel Rd, cross the walking bridge, and right onto River Rd for a 1/4 mile. You'll then see the parking area near the PUD area, follow the trail and stairs down to the river.
If driving: Head east on Pine Loop S and turn left on to Chumstick Hwy, after crossing the bridge, turn left on to River Rd, continue for 180 feet and you'll see the parking area on your left. Follow the trail and stairs down to the river.
