You will also be located just 11.5 miles from historic Downtown Charleston, SC. The public beach access is just one block away and Center St. where all the shops, restaurants, and bars are only one block away too. Park once, walk everywhere!

There is an awesome outdoor patio that has a decent gas grill and an outdoor shower. The home has good WiFi and a Smart TV in the living room and bedroom. My sister and I stayed at Sea Mountain - the little house on the hill - for nine nights and it was GLORIOUS, RELAXING, TRULY MEMORABLE. We couldn`t have picked a better spot and believe me, I did lots of research before choosing this one. This was in May, 2020 in the middle of the pandemic panic so we had our pick of places. While following some newly enforced restrictions, there were plenty of little stores, tourist shops and restaurants open in the lovely little oceanside tourist mecca of Folly Beach. The house was older which made it SUPER CHARMING; and HOMEY, but ROOMY; with a SPACIOUS living area; two toilets; and three showers. See how long it takes you to find the third `hidden` shower. The whole place had a solid quaintness and charm that made it easy, as a writer myself, to imagine Hemingway, sitting on the SECLUDED patio/deck sipping his bourbon and writing the next great American novel. Even the outdoor hot shower was charming. Surrounded by lush, tropical foliage, reminiscent of the tidiest Hawaiian bungalow, neither you nor the house can be seen from the streets below. The only downside was you hear the noise from the businesses one street over but my sister and I are youngish mid-60s so it didn`t really bother us and there were cops everywhere so we felt very safe. It`s definitely a young person`s town and I wouldn`t want to be there during Spring Break, that is, if the kids ever get back in school. The beach was GORGEOUS, WARM and literally, a short walk from the house. While the little stores are pretty well stocked (beware: the only liquor store in town has limited hours) Walmart is a short drive. We rented a car because we traveled about but if you`re staying in town, the myriad golf cart and scooter rentals should suffice. Car parking is nearly impossible to find in town (except at the house, of course.) The most charming feature of our stay was JUDY, the property owner (albeit not the manager). She would drop by and almost insist on taking us shopping, to lunch or into Charleston, which is a short, easy drive. She`s a lovely lady full of character and stories. What more can I say? We would definitely stay at Sea Mountain again. Next time, maybe even bring the spouses. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company. Please note that the home name has changed.
