There is a recreation room on the lower level of this home. Adults and children alike will enjoy spending time in this fun space. The pool table comes with an interchangeable top that switches the game to Ping-Pong. The wet bar provides adult-sized fun once the children are in bed for the night.

This is the 3rd time in the past 4 years we have stayed at the Rockford Retreat. We love the house. It is spacious with a huge dining room table that a large group can gather at. Plenty of room for all and just a great space overall.

Nice place to stay, everything was as described.

The house boasted fun, games, and good location. Ok. We weren’t on the beach, but so close to Blackrock Marina it didn’t matter.

The house is in a beautiful setting with plenty of room for all of us. There were plenty of games to keep us entertained when we were in the house. The house was well maintained and very clean. My kids loved it and wanted to move in. The only drawback was we got a little hot upstairs during the day but the downstairs was pleasantly cool. The scent of the hand soap was lovely also. Overall a great vacation!!

We had a wonderfully relaxing time. There was lots of room so we were not stepping on top of one another! With room for lots of cooks in the kitchen! Took several walks around the area and was greeted by all sorts of wildlife. Definitely would come back!!

Second visit to this lovely huge house, first with the new deck which is fabulous. Great view of the water, quiet, surrounded by trees. Comfortable deck chairs and easy awning. The huge dining table is perfect to set up our sewing machines for our retreat. The garage entry makes packing in and out so easy. Close to lots of restaurants, but has great, well stocked kitchen if you want to stay in. If there was one thing I would change it would be some recliners in the living room to be more comforatble
Manager response:
Hi Linda….thank you for your gracious comments. We’re very glad your family enjoyed the beautiful view on the new deck and the spacious accommodations. Recently, the owner added 2 recliners in the living room for extra comfort. We hope you can come back to enjoy them yourself.

The view was lovely. Plenty of room for everyone and a great set up for the dogs. The kitchen is well equipped. The ping pong table was a hit. We would definitely rent this property again.

We all enjoyed the freedom of all being in the same home. My grandchildren really enjoyed the playroom. We had plenty of rooms to accommodate all of us. The kitchen was fantastic for family breakfast. Loved the huge table. Great setting. Would have loved to spend more time at the lake. Was great location for our days at Silverwood. Thank you so much!!

We stayed there for a family reunions. It was wonderful. Lots of good memories!!!!

The house is nice but if you want to play in the water this home doesn't work well and the people who own the docks down below are rude and think they own the water and guests don't belong on the public access
Manager response:
The public access is limited to launching paddle boards or kayaks. The waterfront is not for swimming or hanging out as explained in the guest binder. We apologize for any disappointment experienced.

This home was large enough for our 5 adults and 3 children...we liked the children downstairs, adults upstairs! A nice fenced in yard for the dog. A very large table so all could sit down at one time for dinner. The home felt secluded, but wasn't. You couldn't see any of the homes next to you or below you, closer to the lake. The view from the balcony where all the adults sat in the evening with their evening toddy of choice discussing their day was spectacular. An enjoyable stay.

This place was such an awesome place to celebrate my birthday with a few close friends. The deck was such a nice feature. We enjoyed bundling up in the many cozy blankets that were provided, while sitting on the deck with our morning coffee. 5 stars for a relaxing getaway! Thank you!

The set up for dogs is great

Great place, the water crafts were a hit. Wildlife galore!!

What a lovely place to have our crafting weekend! The view of the bay is spectacular, the house is spacious. The property and surrounding neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We each had our own space and it had plenty of room to spread out our stuff. It was easy to get all our stuff in through the garage, no lugging things up stairs. Only 11 miles to Coeur d’lene and wonderful restaurants and shopping. The deck was not completed unfortunately, but the owners graciously gave us a partial refund. After 10 years at our old space, the stairs were too steep at our age. I think we have found a new home for our twice yearly crafting weekends. When we come back in October for the Spokane quilt show, we are looking forward to being on the beautiful new deck enjoying the view and wildlife.

We had family and friends come together for my son and his girlfriend who he proposed to over that weekend. The home offered a large dining and living room area where everyone could hang out around
Love sitting on the deck and grilling and admiring the hidden lake view. Plenty of room to accommodate everyone. If you are reading this review I encourage you to just rent the property!!!

Wonderful home, very well kept and perfect for our non-profit brainstorm weekend retreat! Thank you for sharing!!
Dana K. Aug 2017
There were 10 of us and the house easily accommodated all with everyone having plenty of space. It was pet friendly which is difficult to find. The house was well stocked with linens, dishes, pans, appliances, games...everything you need, even canoes and paddle boards! We all loved it!
James U. Aug 2017
This house is big and roomy. It's super clean as well. It is not a lake front property and there are no beaches,. but there is a public access to launch a canoe or paddle board which they have at the house. The house is close to a public boat ramp and restaurant and store. We enjoyed a relaxing time

We all enjoyed our stay in Couer D'Alene. We really enjoyed the surrounding areas and loved swimming in the lake after hiking Tubbs Hill, or at the City Park beachfront, or while out paddle boarding and canoeing near the house. We all really loved trying out the paddle boards!
We loved the ping pong table and if we had more time would have played more games. We wish the seating in the living room allowed for more of us to sit together. The chairs need updating in that room. We also were careful on the deck as some stairs and railings seemed loose and in disrepair. The view off the deck is lovely.
Overall it was a good experience and we enjoyed ourselves.
Manager response:
We are glad to see this guest had a good time here! The deck is scheduled for repair. Thank you!

We loved the hiking trails. We also rock climbed in Q'Emiln Park and rafted the Coeur 'd Alene river. We also did a guided fly fishing tour. The main reason for the trip was to bike the Hiawatha trail which we greatly enjoyed. We enjoyed all the activities including canoeing on Lake Coeur d' Alene. We really loved this vacation. This house was a little bit of a drive to get to Coeur d' Alene but the view was amazing.
The biggest complaint we had was the downstairs would not get warm. The pool table and TV room are down there but was so cold we didn't spend any time down there. The upstairs was well controlled by the thermostat but the downstairs didn't seem to have any heat at all. :(
Manager response:
We are delighted to see this guest enjoyed the home other than the difficulty with the heating. There are two thermostats downstairs - there is one for the fireplace and one for the furnace. If the furnace thermostat is being used the downstairs will warm up very nicely. Thank you!

We loved the home. Very family friendly We enjoyed the game tables and the canoes. Beautiful view and well stocked. We will definitely stay again
Brigid M. May 2017
Perfect for stay with adult children and their dogs.
Klaire P. May 2017
Great open layout with large/long dining table for game playing and dining. Comfortable upstairs gathering area. TV/movie room and billiard playroom need more comfortable couches to enable gathering with more than a couple of people. Extra stackable wicker-like chairs available in garage to assist in larger group gatherings in the rooms. Comfortable beds.
Lynne E. Apr 2017
We enjoyed our stay. There were 5 ladies and we would come again.
Richard L. Apr 2017
Our two families (2 grandparents, daughter and husband with three children--7, 6, 3) played pool and ping pong, read books (good books for all ages in the house); loved the little fenced yard; watched some vintage movies (By the way, loved having the TV switched to the wall which children never figured out:);ate together since the long dining room table was a perfect fit for us; on and on.... The grandparents stayed in the master bedroom upstairs. Our daughter's family took the downstairs which also provided them with some time alone at night. The place "Felt like" a home. Thanks!!
Carrie N. Feb 2017
The Rockford Bay was an excellent place for a quick weekend with friends. The larger lower level with ping pong, pool and tv room was perfect for the kids. The staff at Vacasa were helpful and organized. Their communication and information was top notch and we are looking forward to staying again!
Mark K. Dec 2016
There were 10 of us and we all agreed this was a great house to stay in! Very spacious, clean, & the open kitchen, dining room & living room made it so no matter what you were doing you still felt a part of things. The young ones had a great time downstairs playing ping pong or watching movies while us older ones could be upstairs watching our movie. We hope to get the chance to stay here again next year.
Barbara W. Nov 2016
We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable home. Happily surprised by a fenced in yard for the dog! She loved it!
Hannah M. Nov 2016
The house was fantastic. It was the perfect amount of modern, with a touch of rustic. It was only my boyfriend and I, but the house could sleep up to 13 easily. Despite the home being large, it was still incredibly cozy with just the two of us. We also had our puppy, and with the backyard being completely fenced, this was an enjoyable experience as well. The master bedroom is absolutely fantastic; anyone who likes baths will thoroughly enjoy the jacuzzi bathtub.
Coeur d'Alene is only a short drive away, and the whole commute is gorgeous.
Our stay was wonderful, and we will certainly be coming back!
Thais F. Oct 2016
I didn't do much but rest. It was such a beautiful place to stay . I throughly enjoyed my stay. I want to hurry back soon.
Matt H. Sep 2016
this was a great place to stay for a family with plenty of space and things to do in the area.
Trudy S. Aug 2016
We were happy with the property. We didn't need beach access because my brother had a cabin with is so we went there. the paddle boards we awesome.
Alison B. Jun 2016
The home was perfect for our needs. The kids enjoyed the games and ping pong table while the adults enjoyed the view. Thanks for a great stay!
Brad L. Jun 2016
We really enjoyed our stay at this home! It was very clean and roomy for our family get-together. Its well-furnished as well. We enjoyed the beautiful mountains and lake around us. The home is located in a quiet and beautiful spot and we saw lots of wildlife around us, which was really fun. The path down to the lake works great, though it is a little steep as was mentioned in the info. We had a blast with the canoes and paddleboards, that was a really nice plus! Overall, this was a great place to stay and we highly recommend it!

Our group of ten ladies had a lovely time here. The house is just 15 minutes or so from Coeur d'Alene, which is a beautiful lake city. Take the Tubbs hill hike! Really nice and not too difficult. :) At the house there wasn't really useable access to the lake from the property, but the area was beautiful for walks. As for the house itself, the floor plans were perfect for our group. Nice and open on the main floor with plenty of comfortable seating. Well appointed but not "prissy". Nice roomy kitchen well stocked with dinnerware, flatware, etc., enough for a crowd! Also, the three bathrooms each have showers! That was a real plus! We enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. Didn't use the downstairs TV room as there wasn't enough seating for all of us. (Just one couch) The carpeted floor would have been fine for the younger ladies But the older ones preferred using the upstairs TV where there was more seating. Wifi and cell service was good. The house was clean and we were very comfortable there and are already taking about going back next year! Thanks to the owner and Vacasa for a lovely experience.
Daniel S. May 2016
The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable. It is also deceivingly large! I could not believe how big it was after walking in the front door! The only thing I will say is that if you are looking for some fun on the water this is probably not the option for you. They do offer canoes, but unless you have a pickup truck to take them to a public dock, it is alot of work to get them in the water. We took the canoes out one day and the directions given to where you can access the lake felt like we were trespassing, as its a narrow downhill slope to the water between properties. Again, the house was wonderful and our family had a great time I just wish there was a better way to enjoy the lake during our stay. Thanks for sharing your home with us! It was a fun little getaway. Coeur d'alene is a beautiful place.
Natasha K. Mar 2016
We loved the view and being away from the town was a plus. During our stay there we didn't see any other people, which we appreciated. Planning on returning next year.
