Hot tub : Private
It was a cute little place. The other units were pretty close and not a lot of hot tub privacy, but it was too hot for it anyway. We were pleasantly surprised with a fresh baked pastry; it looked fake! Though the towels were clean, they were a bit crunchy (not soft).
The cottages were cozy and quaint with a very good location (not in the middle of it all but very close).
Very nice little place. Conveniently located and would certainly stay again.
We stayed in Petite Chateau and really enjoyed it. It was nice to have our own hot tub on the porch. The property is in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Main. Privacy curtains worked good and I never felt like people outside could see in with them closed. We would stay here again.
I loved the location! It’s right off Main Street with easy access to all the shops, restaurants, tasting rooms and not a far drive to surrounding area vineyards. The room is close quarters so you had better be very comfortable with your significant other when using the restroom, if you know what I mean! LOL! The hot tub was a nice touch on a cold day, however, a privacy curtain or something similar would’ve been nice as there were car headlights pointing at us while we were relaxing in it. The fireplace in the room was nice too. We had two club chairs in our room but would’ve preferred a loveseat to sit in front of the fireplace. Overall, it was great and I’d stay here again!
This place was quaint and quiet. Small little rooms that were ample space for 2 guests. The “Petite Chalet” was our cottage. The bathroom was nice with dual sinks and large walk-in shower for 2. Our biggest issue was that this place was about 2 blocks down from where the actions was. To walk, was about 15 minutes to get to the shops and winery store fronts.
Good location, comfortable and clean.
Great location, evenings in the hot tubs was awesome after the day long activities in Fredericksburgs. Quiet and clean. Would stay at again in the future
The rooms were the perfect size for just the two of us. Great location with just a quick walk to the start of the main shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay there this past weekend!
Loved our stay! Everything was great and nicely organized all the way down to to desserts and chocolate waiting for us.
The Strip was Awesome , just not enough time to see everything really need three days or so. Cottage’s were Awesome just wish Hottubs were more private like drop bamboo blinds or something
My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and we loved this place. The cottage was so cute inside and out and the hot tub was a good bonus. Will definitely be staying here again.
This was our first trip to Fredericksburg and we are very happy we chose this property. I loved that we had our own little cottage. The amenities were great and so was the coffee and breakfast! We will definitely be back.
We were excited from the very moment we drove onto the Wine Country Cottages on Main property. We stayed in the Petit Chateau. It was absolutely amazing. When we come back to Fredericksburg, we will definitely be staying here again. It is walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in Frederiksburg. It was very private and comfortable.
Clean and comfy. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants on Main St. A/C could have been a little stronger, but otherwise a great little place.
We stayed in the Petit Chateau for two nights and loved it! The facility is wonderful. It felt like we were in a village although we were right off Main St. I would stay here again.
It was quiet, clean and easy to locate off of Main Street.
Enjoyed walking through town avoid the "Original Cottage" when reserving as it is right on Main Street and has a lot of road noise. The cottages in the back of the property were very comfortable and quiet.
Staying at Vacasa was great! Very clean, comfortable!
We stayed in the Petite Chateau at the Cottages and we loved it! The cottage was spotless and overall property was quiet. Walking distance from Main Street where there are tons of restaurants, shops, and live music. We came to visit all the wineries and they were only 10 miles or less depending on which ones you want to visit- We recommend Grape Creek, Hilmy, and Four Point Cellars. The staff at Vacasa helped us arrange some things for our anniversary and were super helpful with suggestions along the way. Very responsive and made our experience VERY easy. We will definitely stay again and recommend them to anyone seeking out a comfortable stay in Fredericksburg.
This was a great getaway from the daily grind. The cottages were quaint, and much nicer than we expected it to be. They provide all the main items you would expect to make you feel at home. The bed was comfortable, and the hot tub was such a nice addition after a day of hiking. You can walk downtown to the shops, so it’s very convienrly located. Be sure to read the driving directions section, the check in office is located at a separate building on the other side of town. For some reason they don’t mention that under the check in instructions, we had to call and ask where it was. Other than that issue, we would gladly return here!
We love this town. We aren't shoppers, but love the proximity to E-rock for a morning hike. And love the quality of the restaurants too.
The cottage was great! Just what we were looking for on a weekend getaway.
Just a box with a nice bed and linens....
No ambience whatsoever.
We had a great anniversary weekend! So much amazing German food and beer! The shopping was awesome, too! Our only complaint would be that our room was just kind of hot during the night. No matter how much we tried to adjust the thermostat, my wife and I both woke up sweating. The ceiling fan's high setting was a normal fan's low setting. Overall though, it's an amazing location. Just a few blocks away from all the attractions you could want. Definitely would come back!
Easy location to walk to things down the street. Quiet.
Quiet place. Bed was very comfortable. Not impressed with hot tub jets
Very charming and cozy. Close to all the activities of town. Only stayed one night but would come back.
Very clean. Staff was great and nice extras like private hot tub, coffee and awesome coffee cake supplied. Bathroom is open glass, non private, for those that care. Not walkable to main shopping area but private and secluded. I give it 3.5 stars.
We will definitely stay here again. This place is one of the nicest, Most convenient, accommodating places to stay in Fredericksburg.
This property lives up to all the hype for a romantic getaway. Perfect location on the Main street strip with the feeling of a private cottage with all the 5 star amenities. Exceeded our expectations and will definitely be staying here again for our next Fredericksburg getaway. Book one of these rooms with an outdoor hot tub and you and your mate will not be disappointed. Also, amazing customer service and communication.
One of the best places we have ever stayed!
Breakfast could be better
My husband & I really enjoyed our stay at the Wine Cottage. We loved how clean & cozy it was. The hot tub was so relaxing. Weather was perfect. We just didn't get to stay long enough
The property and amenities were exactly what we were looking for in order to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. Close enough to everything downtown and comfortable and clean when you are on property.
Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Not far away but know the pick up of your arrival packet and keys are in a different location from the actual house
We had a great time, and the location of this house was perfect!!
My husband and I visited for our anniversary and this little place was perfect! Very clean and upgraded. I will definitely be staying again.
Great little place to stay for a weekend! Decent walking distance to the food/tasting rooms and very clean and comfortable!
Nice comfortable rooms, semi private. Location is right on Main Street and close to shopping and eating areas. Would definitely stay again.
Wonderful property! Wonderful people! Wonderful location! - just try to eliminate the cock roaches.
We are sorry to see that cockroaches were a bit of a nuisance during this stay; the home is treated for cockroaches regularly, but due to the moisture outside, and the constant opening of doors, they do tend to sneak into the home. We will attempt sonic sound plugins to see if this will eliminate the problem.
The stay was wonderful. Had a great time there and enjoyed every minute of it. The hot tub was great, the room was clean, the location was nice. I would definitely recommend this place to other people.
Great getaway location but close to downtown action.
It is a nice property. No one is available during your stay in case you need anything though.
We had a great "baby moon" at this location to celebrate our soon to be first child. It was relaxing, cozy, and had a great location being so close to everything on main street. We would definitely stay here again especially with a group of people to utilize the other cottages and private setting of a fire-pit and hot tub.
We would recommend this location. Hot tub is a nice ammenity.
