Bed & Breakfast
Hot Tub : Private
The cottage was really nice and romantic, great for a couples getaway. The only downfall we experienced was that the hot tub was emptied and refilled literally as soon as we arrived (around 4:30pm) and around midnight the hot tub temperature was barely at 92° so we didn’t get to enjoy it as planned. Other than that everything was great!
Pros: the cottage is cute. Was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.
Cons: the air struggled a lot to cool the cottage down on the day we stayed. It was very warm outside and the cottage was almost 80 degrees when we checked in and took hours to cool down. Also when we woke up the bathroom had flooded. I cleaned up the mess and called the number and no answer. So I called another number I had and no answer. Left a voicemail and still
No answer. They don’t seem to value customer service. Hope they fixed this before another guest stays and gets hurt.
We are very sorry to see this guest feels we do not value customer service as we certainly do and, consequently, are not taking these comments lightly. The property manager has done quite a bit of investigating to figure out what went wrong when this guest tried to reach us. We are actively worked on ensuring all numbers listed are correct and routed to the correct people. We have not had any further issues with the air conditioner or any leak since this guest's stay. Thank you!
Location was great and the bedding was so awesome that I had to order my own as soon as I went back home.
The only negatives was the bed was too soft and there
were not any hangers or anywhere to put your clothes. The bathroom was awesome. The porch and sitting areas were very nice. A very quiet place.
Very nice cottages, super bedding, close enough to walk to supper. Lots of things to do in the area!
Very comfortable private cabin. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Easy access to downtown Fredericksburg.
Enjoyed that the fridge was stocked with waters, milk and the delicious apple cake.
Very relaxing for these two teachers on spring break. Very comfortable and cozy, clean, and great location. We would not hesitate to book again!
If you're a couple who plan on spending most of their waking hours out exploring Fredericksburg and the surrounding wine company, this place is an ideal location and space to come home to.
This is a great place to stay when in shopping, eating, tasting, touring or just relaxing.
We've stayed in a couple cabins now. They are elegant and comfortable. Music and a wonderful fragrance greet you when you open the door.
The staff is wonderful. They seem to enjoy helping you. We had 2 issues during our stay. We had a very minor issue with the fireplace. Staff jumped on the issue quickly - staying in communication and problem was quickly resolved. We also locked ourselves out once - tip: wear your hot tub fob at all times :D. They helped us out VERY quickly. Both times staff seemed more than happy to make us happy. They did!
Not worth the price. No place for a group to meet.
Great place good location
We will be happy to stay here again and highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing getaway.
Great location, close to downtown and museums. The property was as advertised.
These cottages are top notch, very clean, private and the property and layout was well planned. The location is perfect, close enough to walk to all of the shops and restaurants but far enough away to ensure privacy.
Very nice place. Highly recommend. It was quiet and convenient.
Would not recommend a stay at Wine Country Cottages.
Management VERY unattentive!
It is in the perfect location, far enough so you can have some privacy and get good sleep, but close enough to walk to the heart of Main Street. Very clean and cozy. This is our 2nd stay here and we will be back again.
We loved our stay at Cuvee! Having a hot tub and rocking chairs on our front porch were fabulous! We had a delicious Danish waiting for us when we arrived and the refrigerator was stocked with water, milk and OJ. It was on the opposite end of Main St. from where we initially booked but they called to change our room. We were not disappointed in the change.
We needed a weekend away and The Cuvee at Wine Country Cottages did not disappoint. The location was perfect, the room and bathroom immaculate and the hot tub on our porch was the icing on our cake! Oh and speaking of cakes, the breakfast pastry provided with a little coffee in the morning was great.

Very cute and quiet little cottage. Seems like every detail was thought of down to the milk and OJ in the fridge. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back!
We loved our Casita complete with a fireplace and hot tub. It was a relaxing and romantic venue to celebrate our anniversary.
Cottages were wonderful. Very clean. The best was the private hot tub. Having the late check out option came in handy. We will be back!
Everything about this place was amazing!! Beautiful interior and exterior, comfy beds, yummy breakfast pastry, and more! Will definitely be staying here again!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay, the hot tube was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. The accommodations were excellent.
We loved our cottage! Loved the decor; modern yet rustic. All the amenities we needed. Great location. And the refrigerator was stocked with milk and juice and a delicious coffee cake was on display when we arrived.
I would love to come back and stay longer than one night.
WONDERFUL STAY, CAN WALK TO THE SHOPS.
Overall experience was good, nice location and very clean.
Local pastry included! Everything you need for a quick weekend getaway in wine country! Soft luxurious linens. Located on main strip close to everything!
Overall this is a beautiful property and the employees are amazingly nice and I would love to stay here again. JUST MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE ROOM WHILE THE OFFICE IS OPEN SO YOU CAN ACTUALLY SPEAK WITH SOMEONE THAT CAN HELP YOU OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER
Great, clean place. With in walking distance to shops and places to eat. Wile will stay there again.
This is a great place to stay! It's taking a little to adjust to new management, but overall would stay again.
Truly loved these cabins. You are close to everything yet it is set up to feel very private and away from all the huddle. The place was clean and had everything to offer.
Very nice place that worked well for our stay in Fredericksburg.
This cottage and the property itself is absolutely charming! We were there during the week so had the whole place to ourselves. For sure I recommend Wine Country Cottages!
We loved our stay at Wine Country Cottages and would totally recommend them to future guests. The cottages are private and secluded enough to be quiet, but still right in the heart of Fredericksburg within walking distance of fine dining, shopping, museums, and other activities. No complaints and lots of compliments!
We were disappointed in our stay. It could be accounted to he company being bought out by bigger company but the service for the cost of the stay was not acceptable. We did not have any small wash towel and tried to get them along with fresh towels. We also had a very dirty dish sponge to clean the dish so need a new one. The pamlet said to call if housecleaning or any thing is needed. I tried to call 2 times and not help. Both times I got a call back late from Seattle. The second time they said they did not offer That service which I argued but stopped since it was our last time. Overall the cottage was nice but very disappointed in the service. For that price I will try a different place next time we return.
We are very sorry to see that this guest did not have a better experience. We understand that we have been difficult to reach lately and are actively hiring more personnel to assist on the phones and in the field so that we can better to attend to guest needs.
