Secluded mountain getaway w/ sweeping views - outdoor adventures await close by!

Step away from the hustle and bustle of the clamoring city, and find the peace you've been looking for at this Granby getaway. Set in the secluded rolling Colorado hills, you'll be surrounded by peace, tranquility, and the beauty of the expansive meadows.

This home is all about the outdoors. It's about three miles away from the Granby Ski Ranch and under 20 miles from Winter Park Resort for winter getaways, and 25 miles from Grand Lake and 23 miles from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park for summer retreats.

Towering picture windows that run along the meadow-facing wall allow an abundance of light to flood through main living area, highlighting the wood accents throughout. Lounge around on the soft chairs or the inviting couch as you flip through cable channels on the TV while the gas fireplace fills the room with warmth.

Step out onto the large deck and kick your feet up as you connect to the WiFi to check the local fishing report before you plan you next excursion. Let the private washer/dryer help with the laundry while you enjoy some time with your friends. With views from every room, there is no bad place to sit down and cuddle up with a good book.

Grab a cold local brew and head out onto the deck to grill up a delicious dish on the gas BBQ. Revel in the sweeping views as you wait for the mouth-watering meal to be done.

If the weather isn't cooperating, the open layout of the kitchen will allow several chefs to work at once to create a culinary masterpiece. With granite counters and clean white appliances, cooking for the group will be a piece of cake.

As the day winds down, this four-bedroom, two-bathroom home will easily sleep up to eight guests. In the master bedroom you'll find a soft queen-size bed and private en suite complete with a corner soaking tub. Both the second and third rooms each boast a rejuvenating queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom features two twin-size beds as well as a double bed, perfect for your youngsters.

Make a tee time at the Grand Elk Ranch and Club and fill your day a challenging round of beautiful golf. Navigate the hazards and read the greens as you swing away in the rugged Colorado landscape. Book a fly fishing guide as your explore the rapids of the Fraser River and the nearby headwaters of the Colorado in Grand Lake. Hikers, mountain bikers, rock climbers, and wildlife seekers are sure to enjoy a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park, and hunters will find ample game that comes down in the late summer and fall.

When the temperatures start to drop, and there is snow covering the Rockies, make the quick three mile trip to the Granby Ski Ranch for a wide offering of family-friendly winter activities. If you're up for a bigger resort experience, Winter Park is just a short drive away.

Plan your next family getaway at this Colorado escape and fill your family's time with lazy afternoons on the deck, snow-time fun, and hiking through the lush meadows. The cabin itself was well kept with a great view of the surrounding area. Located in a great spot to do outdoor activities

Everything was great, nice view, nice area, nice home, half the beds were comfortable and others mattresses were a little rough.

The location was just what we wanted, conveniently located to amenities but the lack of attention to cleanliness, disgusting smelling towels and spiders were a huge turnoff. This property has the potential to be everything you are looking for but in it’s current condition we can not recommend it for a booking.
Manager response:
We are so sorry you did not have the ideal experience at this mountain home. Our local team will be working with the owner to discuss fresh towels and sheets to be put into place. The property manager is discussing the windows with the owner. This home certainly has a more rustic feel to it, and it is priced accordingly with a full kitchen, several rooms, and an open view. Thank you!

Great place! Stayed with a family with a couple small kids. Great location, easy access to winter park and other ski areas, and very comfortable to come home to at the end of the day. Would stay again.

The house was very clean and perfect for our small group of friends. It was a short drive to Grand Lake, which was a great little town to visit. The maintenance staff was quick to answer our questions.

The location is great with nice views. The living room has vaulted ceilings with seating for five. There is a gas freestanding stove, using convection heat. The home has three beds for kids in the finished, carpeted basement. Then master suite on main floor and two bedrooms upstairs with a shared bath. Baths are nice with tile and very clean. Main floor bath is large with two sinks, walk in shower and jetted tub. Newer washer and dryer is very nice also iron and board. The kitchen is well supplied and has heated tile floor. Dining room table seats six. There is a nice grocery store about half a mile away open till 11PM. There are good medical facilities VERY nearby even with a helipad.

Great place for relaxing, close to mountains and national parks

Our family had a fantastic stay at Silver Sage Rd. Beautiful home with plenty of room for the seven of us. We loved sitting on the deck in the afternoons watching for wildlife and having a few cocktails. Centrally located to everything in this outdoor paradise. We loved fishing the Colorado River in the " Gold Medal" stretch past Hot Sulpher Springs and of course Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park were beautiful.

Although this property was not far from highway 40 the secluded location could not have been better. Great views from the deck. The house was clean well maintained.

It's a beautiful house and very well kept. It's comfortable, very clean, the kitchen was well equipped. The TV is old, so don't plan on using it with your computer if you need to work or watch your own movies.

We were so happy we found this place! Plenty of room for everyone and close to town yet a secluded part of town.

This is a just a wonderful and quiet place to enjoy winter! We (a family of 5 including 3 kids) stayed here for a week in early January. We wished to show a REAL winter to our kids, and we have done this! 2-4 feet of show, temperature jumping from -30 to 40 within 24 hours, building a snow-woman, downhill-skiing - we really enjoyed everything! The house is equipped with everything (and even more!) you need for a comfortable stay plus some extra that makes your stay even more enjoyable. The location is absolutely nice with relaxing views through large windows in the sitting room. No matter what is the weather outside, you feel warm and cozy inside the house. The warm floor in the kitchen is just what your feet want to feel after 3 or 4 hours of downhill skiing. The fireplace of the sitting room makes it absolutely warm and cozy in the evenings. We are fans of cooking, and a slow cooker was a very pleasant surprise for us! The garage was just what our car needed to avoid everyday cleaning from ice and snow. A large grocery (CityMarket - it belongs to the system of Dillons, do not forget to pick your Dillons shopping card!) is just 3 minutes of driving on Highway 40. A ski resort (Granby Ranch) is just 10 minutes of driving from this house. The roads are cleaned several times per day in case of a snowfall. We left a package of snow melting salt in the garage - you may need it to treat the outside steps. Overall, our impressions are very nice, and we wish to stay here again next winter!

We had a great time in Granby. The house was conveniently located nearby the ski resort and town. Even though it was close to town, I love how it still felt secluded due to the way it sits back.
Sarah R. Dec 2016
Cozy house, beautiful scenery, close enough to the Granby Ranch to come back for lunch in between skiing! We definitely felt at home for our first destination Christmas. We took a little artificial tree and it worked out perfect! Heated tile floors were AMAZING!
For our budget on the 3 nights we stayed, you can't get much better than this!

Several of us flew in from different parts of the country. This house had plenty of room, amenities and views to act as a central landing place for the family. We would absolutely use this house again.

We enjoyed our Colorado vacation and we're very pleased with the Silver Sage rental property.

Great location for our family weekend in Grand Lake area. Easy access to lakes, ATVing and shopping in Grand Lake, grocery store, restaurants in both Granby and Grand Lake. I would recommend. Lovely home.

What can I say about this beautiful place situated at the foothills in one of the most beautiful city in USA, Granby,Co . We wanted to have a re union and was looking for a place to stay. I came to know about Vacasa from my friend and was browsing for place to stay near Rocky Mountains. This place caught my eye for the location whic h is just 20 miles from Rockys and situated at a very beautiful loction. From the day I booked till the day I checked out,Vacasa is exceptional in handling the process. And the house looks exactly the same as it is in the pics,I would say it was even more beautiful in real. The kitchen is fully equipped, house looks brand new,all facilities are available. Just the right place to spend a vacation with friends. I have no queries or troubles and overall I would rank it as the best place I stayed. Cheers to Vacasa!!
