I agree with most of the comments. Super clean because it is recently remodeled. Kitchen is lovely to work in with kitchen aid appliances that function very well. Bathrooms are very nicely done. Only things to be aware of are: very close to the road so traffic noise is present on weekday mornings especially if the windows are open and upstairs bedrooms each have one small single bed that is accessed via a narrow winding staircase that would be potentially risky in the night. Overall recommend this home highly as clean, well designed and very comfortable.
It’s a lovely home with a nice hot tub great view and good location. Close to the beaches and also the Moonraker club with the pool and tennis court. Was just remodeled so updated kitchen and nice master with bathroom. Perfect for 5 to 6 people if you double up in the two bedrooms and have 2 others for the singles. Only downside was lack of items in kitchen such as large salad and other serving bowls. But outside of this minor inconvenience, we loved it and had a wonderful time.
This was a great spot for us. It's tucked away but still has ocean views. The hot tub is lovely and the house is comfortable for guests. Great beds and nice to have multiple bathrooms.
This house is comfortable for a unperturbed stay: breakfast at the terrace with the first sunbeams in the morning, a long walk along the beach, a great cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, dinner in the cozy living room and a relaxing in the hot tub with sunset and afterwards the view at the sky full of stars. It’s perfect.
Lovely spot-great hot tub!
My husband and I stayed for three days. The home is perfect for two people because the second bath downstairs is small and may not work with two couples. The living area is small but cozy and very comfortable...great seating, wood stove, expansive views of the ocean. The hot tub was wonderful on a rainy night. In good weather, the deck would be delightful. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would come back.
Functional and well located and pet friendly. Would stay again.
As promised - beautiful views in an amazing location. The hot tub alone was worth it on a clear night!
It's a beautiful place to stay, the sunset we got to see was incredible! My husband and I brought our dog, McNab/Queensland, but we wouldn't bring her back. The herd of turkeys and no way to contain her on the deck meant she was trapped inside most of the time. Other than that, the house was well equipped, everything was clean, and the views were nice.
Lots of privacy and great large size hot tub
Comfortable house with a great view. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the deck.
House was very livable felt like home
Beds nice and firm some thought they would be too hard to sleep on but all slept better than they imagined.
My partner and I stayed here this past weekend and it was so relaxing! Wifi was a bit spotty, but nothing we were too concerned . The hot tub was huge and provided a lovely ocean view. We'd definitely stay here again!
Once again, we've enjoyed a fabulous vacation at lovely Rainbow's End. We keep coming back to this cute little house. It's perfect for our family and we will be back again soon!
My friends and I spent a very relaxin and peaceful weekend at this home. It was the perfect size for three people and had a great view of the ocean. The open floor plan was great. We would love to stay here again.
Thanks. Highly recommended for small family or group. Beautiful views everywhere. Amazing Wi-Fi. Better than home.
Perfect for two couples with a couple of kids. The living area is very cozy. The deck is wonderful.
Great view and easy access to Lodge.
The problem is that the house is a little close to the road and in traffic noise can be heard. The hot tub has a fountain drip that is very annoying. It does however cover the sound of the traffic so just shut it down or take it off mat alter the peacefulness of the experience in the other way.
The ice cube maker in the refrigerator doesn't work
nice location in southern part of Sea Ranch in meadow -- very well-designed mid-1970s house in the Sea Ranch style -- great light -- good separation between bedrooms -- good for kids with 2 small bedrooms up -- interior fairly worn and dated... kitchen short of stuff a serious cook might need -- but overall good value.
We where there for a whole week, we like it a lot and the Jacuzzi was great
We had a wonderful stay the walks were wonderful
If advertised as a 4 BR home, is misleading. 2 BR's upstairs are actually a loft divided into 2 BR's, each with room only for a twin bed, good for 1 kid. The house is best for 2-4 people total; 2 good BR's downstairs, a kitchen and smallish livingroom. But for the size it is, it's a pleasant cozy classic Sea Ranch style home.
Nothing to not like about any time spent in this beautiful place. Hands down, the prettiest spot on the California Coast...
Definitely casual with a small informal kitchen. The home has a deck with white deck chairs, huge hot tub with ocean views, medium sized living room, two moderate sized downstairs bedrooms and two tiny upstairs bedrooms. Great value for the price and location. Served our purposes well. Construction nearby right now which makes it less peaceful than the average sea ranch location.
Please note that even though this house had some problems such as not thorough cleaning, fixtures, pests like ants on counter while trying to fix something to eat, drink. Or even wash hands, the beds were comfortable, we had hot showers. Our cell phones did not have any service, and we did not know that we could have used the house phone to call the office, it did fill our party of 6. We ,friends and family do love area and will continue to stay and visit.
Very comfortable home with a great Jacuzzi. Great location too. The only downside is the age of the kitchen and furnishings. For the price you can't go wrong.
We liked this house, which could use a little updating and a bathroom upstairs. But those things did not deter us from enjoying the house, which was clean and comfortable. You can walk to the coastal path in minutes, and down to the beach, too. It was quiet and we enjoyed quail in the front yard and the ocean view.
The house was great for what we were looking for. It is clearly dated in decor and upgrades however, for the price and solitude it was just fine. bring kindling with if you intend to use the fireplace (which is the only way to heat the main living area) as anything on the grounds is too damp to light. The hot tub was amazing during the chilly evenings!
Comfortable small house with stairs.
Even after all the ups and down during our stay at the sea ranch, i have to invite my family back again next year so they can feel the peacefulness i felt when i stayed their for the first time in April 2014.
Nice quiet place...saw a deer two days in a row...the hot tub was excellent. the only drawback I felt was the bathroom in the master bedroom was small.
It was a nice, older home which was comfortable and just fine for our needs. The house is located in the southern end of Sea Ranch so is a about 10 miles from town and a little distance from some of the beaches, etc. We just drove to parking areas to access beaches and trails. I would recommend this house to others.
Loved are stay at the Rainbow House! Very relaxing nice view of the ocean and nice easy path to get down to it. The jacuzzi is wonderful, clean great temp. We will be going back soon!!
We stayed for 10 days at Rainbow's End and loved every bit of it. The home is very comfortable and in a great location near the Lodge, Two Fish Bakery and the Moonraker recreation center. The hot tub was perfect! This is our second stay at Rainbow's End but it won't be our last--we can't wait to come again.
Our stay at Rainbow's End was wonderful! The house is very well situated with easy access to the coastal trails. The house is very cozy and the hot tub and views from the deck are fantastic. Since the house has so many bedrooms, it's ideal for couples with kids or multiple singles.
Spent a lot of time in the hot-tub... great addition, looking out at the ocean from the tub...
