Set right on the gentle rolling waters of Lake Tahoe, and eight miles from the outdoor destination of Heavenly Mountain Resort, you'll have the whole area as your playground. From dining options to fun-filled days outside, everything is right there waiting for you.
Blue trim and crafted stone accents adorn the outside and welcome you to your vacation. Lakeview windows allow the sun to shine through the main living area and highlight the contemporary mountain decor. Put your feet up after a long day of exploring and flip through the cable channels on the flatscreen TV. If you forgot to bring a movie for the DVD player you can log into your personal Netflix account and find the perfect movie everyone can agree on.
Pop the cork on a bottle of rich red wine and head out to the backyard to take in the serenity of the lake. You can connect to the WiFi to stream some background music, as you ease into the private bubbling hot tub and revel in the moment that you let yourself slip into vacation mode.
Keep the fun outside as you fire up the gas BBQ to show off your grilling skills to the rest of the group. If the weather gets too cold, the chef's kitchen offers granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a top-of-the-line gas range, so you'll feel like a celebrity chef as you sauté and roast.
Put out some dessert on the breakfast bar as the kiddos take over the TV. The grown-ups can retire to the den where you'll find another flatscreen TV and a private bar waiting to serve you a nightcap. The private washer/dryer will keep everyone looking their best during your stay.
As the day winds down, this three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home can easily play host to up to 6 guests. In the master bedroom, you'll be greeted by a rejuvenating queen-size bed, window seat, and en-suite bathroom complete with elegantly tiled counters and double vanity.
The second bedroom features a queen-size bed and deck access, while the third room features two double-size beds in a bunk style, as well as a pull-out trundle. Both of these rooms are downstairs, while a sofabed lies upstairs. With so much space, everyone can stay in comfort.
Wake up as the dawn rises and head out to the perfect fishing spot when you set off from your dock. With the rainbow trout jumping in the morning sun and the fresh breeze blowing off the lake, you'll feel like you found your own slice of paradise. After a hearty lunch back at home, get out on a stand-up paddleboard to get in some exercise as you explore the coastline.
During the winter months you'll have easy access to world-class skiing at Heavenly Mountain Resort. Offering everything from bunny slopes for you to remember all of the fundamentals, to hair-raising expert downhill runs, you'll be able to find something to suit everyone's skill level.
