Upscale lodge w/ private hot tub, plane hangar, SHARC access - walk to marina

You've always dreamed of having a spot to park your private jet. This astounding Sunriver lodge with a private airplane hangar, a private hot tub, and SHARC access provides family and friends with the upscale amenities and scenic setting they need to relax and reconnect.

Located in the heart of one of Central Oregon's premier resorts, this fabulous home is just 20 miles from Bend, and a little over 22 miles from Mt. Bachelor. Guests can walk or bike from this rental to the nearby marina, the Deschutes River, and the stables.

This rental has its own path from the Sunriver Airport, so it's easy to land your small aircraft and park it!

With views of Paulina Peak and the Great Meadow, this home is truly magnificent. The home's design emphasizes the views and landscape with a second-floor living area, tall beamed ceilings, plenty of windows, and lots of balcony space. Warmth and welcome abound here.

Gather in the main living area, where there's plenty of space to spread out on the large sectional sofa. Get the fireplace going for ambience and warmth while you enjoy the home theater, cable, or WiFi. Use the whole-house audio system to play tunes and nice background music while drinks are mixed at the sunken wet bar or a game of pool is played.

The deluxe, sunken kitchen is a safe haven for those who love to cook. Whether it's a favorite meal or a holiday feast, this kitchen pulls out all the stops with washed blonde cabinetry, red granite counters, and high-end appliances. There are two ovens to keep the feast rolling, as well as a Sub Zero fridge to stock all the perishables. The Weber grill out on the deck adds to the fun. There's a dining spot for every meal: a breakfast nook for brunch, a spacious table in the sunken dining room for sandwiches and hot dogs, plenty of patio furniture for cookouts, and when the main course is served, simply put the top on the pool table to create banquet seating! Take a soak in the private hot tub to relax late at night.

This five-bedroom, five-bathroom home can sleep 13 people, and several of the rooms have their own private decks. Three of the bedrooms are downstairs, two with king beds and one with a queen. There is a bunk room with three single twins and a twin bunk bed set off the hangar for the kids who dream of flight.

The travelers looking for more quiet (perhaps to get some work done, as well) will find a twin day bed with a trundle in the office space off the kitchen. If you need a break from you work, walk out onto the wrap-around deck for some fresh air.

For the ultimate royal experience, snag the master suite upstairs. This enormous room includes its own fireplace, a king bed, and a spa-like bathroom with a sunken Jacuzzi set on a dais.

Though you may desire to spend your entire day flying your own plane around, consider all the fun things there are to do on the ground in Sunriver. There are bike paths to pedal, golf courses to putt, and passes to the legendary aquatic facility at SHARC. Ride horses in the summer, and snowshoe or Nordic ski in the winter. Fly fishing, rafting, and kayaking are a must.

Explore the surrounding area for more interesting sights, shopping destinations, and delicious tastes. Head to Bend for microbrews, or Sisters for antique shopping, and nearby Mt. Bachelor and Hoodoo Ski Area for winter fun.

Explore the upscale kind of comfort when you book this Sunriver vacation rental.

Deschutes County Tax Certificate #77 A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

This home was the perfect place to have amazing friends come together. The privacy, beauty and friendly neighborhood couldn't be matched. You won't regret spending time here.

The amenities were amazing at this place. We were able to get full use of the pool table, bicycles, kitchen etc. for our group of 9 people. The proximity to the river walk was a big plus. But the highlight was the Oregon observatory that was within 1 mile from the house. We got some of the best telescope viewing ever within 10 minutes from where we stayed.

We loved the area that this house was located. Very spacious for a large group.

This house was perfect for our 3 families. No one ever had to wait for the bathrooms. Lots of hot water to go around for showers. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and find their own retreat. Loved the SHARC passes and bikes. We never had to leave the community because everything was right there from the grocery store, Starbucks, rafting and so much more. Enjoyed watching the planes roll in and out. Not very annoying at all. The audio visual system in the house was amazing. Would have been perfect to have an intercom so we can easily gather the troops for meals with a single announcement instead of walking around the enormous house...good exercise though!

The location of this home is excellent. However, it is one of the airplane "Hanger homes" so you have to be okay with planes landing and taking off in the early morning, it was not an issue for us. It's a very large interesting home, but with the exception of the master suite, the bedrooms and bathrooms are fairly small. It's definitely an 80's style home and with a few linen/pillow upgrades, it could be very comfortable. It accommodated our large family of 10 easily in the living/dining/kitchen areas. Oven and stove top are both very nice, some upgrading could be done in the kitchen (new kitchen towels, new cookie sheets, etc.) It was nice to have bikes in the garage (although we did rent 5 newer bikes) Pool table in the living room was a great source of entertainment. Good for families with younger children to have the 10 passes to SHARC, we never went there because it was SO crowded! Hot tub and view were great.

Again, location is the reason we would rent this home again!

Just a little dated and pricey. Beautiful home though with amazing views. Very quiet.

We had 4 couples here and the space is great. Loved the location even though it was out a ways, we preferred the quite and out of tourist area. Great kitchen area and loved the pool table. Temperatures from upstairs to downstairs was extreme, so hard to regulate our sleeping temps. Beds were comfortable and the master bedroom let way too much rising sun in very early, so sleeping in was not a choice if you don't have an eye patch. Overall, we enjoyed the house. The owner happened to be there when we checked in and was super helpful with some details of operation. It wasn't as clean as is normal and owner witnessed the discrepancies and hopefully will address those issues with the cleaning staff. Very unacceptable by anyone's standards.
We enjoyed watching the planes come and go throughout the hoiiday weekend.
Manager response:
We are disappointed to see this guest was disappointed with the level of cleanliness found at the home. The Property Manager has ensured the interior is well-cleaned, and he will work on the exterior as well. Thank you!

Absolutely loved the layout of this house and how the great room upstairs brings everyone together in comfort. I would highly recommend this home to anyone with a big group, except if they have little ones who might fall down stairs. I look forward to coming back next winter or even this summer!

It was great staying at the hanger house in Sun River. Our entire group enjoyed the view, the great kitchen and amenities - especially the pool table and hot tub. We had a small problem with the garbage disposal in the sink and maintenance came over and fixed it within an hour of calling the issue in. Great service overall. Thanks Vacasa!

Beautiful home and spacious enough to have several families stay together.

Not a great house for grandchildren under the age of 2. Lots of stairs. We did have a wonderful time and loved the house and location.

We have been coming to Sunriver for 32 years. Since we fly in, being able to rent a beautiful house with enough room for a large family get together was wonderful. Our adult kids had great fun playing pool and cards around the large dining table.
With 3 pilots in the group, they especially loved watching the planes take off and land. The house is great, and we loved staying there!
