I loved the high ceilings and the historic feel.

My family stayed in the house for three nights and we were pleased with our stay. Checkin was very simple. The house was clean. Certain aspects of the house were showing their age but that is to be expected with a historic house. The kitchen was modern and the bathrooms were clean. The house is a short walk from the park which was great for the kids.

House was very large and clean, very historic feeling. Definitely will be back. It was great being able to bring our dog with us.

We decided to take an impromptu trip to Savannah and so glad we did! Location Location Location in this neat historical house. Such a cute neighborhood and within walking distances to lots of places on our list. Short drive to the River area and less than 30 min to Tybee island. The house was clean had everything we needed and was comfortable. We spent evenings on the back deck enjoying the weather and each other. We would absolutely stay here again. The only thing that was a negative was not having a designated parking space. It was usually easy to park in front of property except for the night the street cleaner was scheduled.

The location and home were lovely. The beds were comfortable. We cook so I would’ve liked more kitchen supplies, but all in all it was a great place.
Bailey R.Jul 2020
The house was not very clean, which is concerning especially during the Coronavirus pandemic. The floors had not been mopped, the linens had stains, and the couches had an odor. The place really needs a deep clean.
Bailey, thank you for letting us know about your stay experience. We are sorry the home wasn't cleaned to the Vacasa standard. The local manager has been made aware. We hope you will consider us for future stays. Thank you!

Great location. Nice house. Plenty of room for family of four and dog. Great kitchen

Let me start by saying that upon arrival, I was surprised to see I was entering a 200 year old home. It seemed quaint and full of character. There were quite a few problems. It smelled moldy and musty. We had to go get febreeze and candels because the smell was unbearable. It wasn't very clean, the furniture needed to have the upholstery cleaned and there was an old diaper folded up in the sofa bed. The bedding was sub par (stains and faded spots), and the couch made us itch when we sat on it. The water took forever to get hot and the power surges were annoying. The dresser in the back room only had 3 legs, one of which I had to place under it myself. The fridge froze everything and although the washer and dryer was good to have, it was fickle. Again I say, I was a little disappointed, especially since we paid so much money for a weeks stay.
Thank you for your review, Patricia! We are sorry to read you were disappointed with your accommodations. We have updated all of the furniture, and the appliances are fixed. We hope the compensation offered you shows our desire to care for our guests. We hope to see you again!

The place was beautiful, with VERY old charm. Don’t expect higher end amenities, rather, think Gone With The Wind. It was big open place with interesting layout. Not in the best of shape, but nothing a little wine and great company can’t fix. Central A/C was strong, WiFi and all power outlets worked well, plenty of lights and fans. There is a home washer/dryer unit, but didn’t use it/couldn’t find the detergent. Don’t bother with the TV (small and located in an awkward space). Main entrance leads to a foyer with 2 separate units (main floor + upstairs), so you could possibly rent both units for a large gathering.
Location wasn’t desirable and they are building a major building complex across the street so it’s quite loud during the working hours. Didn’t spend anytime in the back patio (it remains mostly unfinished) with views of abandoned lots and broken down homes. Britta filter water jug inside the fridge was a plus, however Savanah’s tap water is quite fresh and clean. No photo’s of the bathroom, but they were nice and functional. There was one bathroom en-suite with a sunken jet spa tub and a hand held shower wand. Other bathroom located in the hall with a small standup shower.
Daily rent was great, the added fee’s were horrendous!
Overall I really liked the place and would stay there again. Perfect for a large, close family to all hunker down all together.
Hi, Tobin! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay here and apologize for the disappointments you experienced. The location construction has dissipated, and the Brita water filter has been replaced. Thank you for choosing Vacasa!

Great place for a girls weekend. Close to downtown, lots of mirrors for getting ready. Small shower and awkward soaker tub, but we made do.
Heather H.Mar 2020
Nice little house in a good location. We were in Savannah for a girls trip, so it was nice to have plenty of space and two bathrooms. The only drawback to the bathrooms is that the stand-up shower is so small it would be extremely difficult to shave your legs. The other shower is just a tub with a hand-held shower attachment; no shower curtain.
Other than that everything was clean and well appointed. We were able to walk all the way to the riverfront from the house. Also easily used Uber several times (about $7 to the riverfront).

Loved walking the historical district and Forsyth park. Home was great for us and our dog.
Barbara D.Jan 2020
Thank you very much!

Great property management! We loved being able to walk to everything Savannah has to offer. There was some maintenance issues with the house, but were addressed very professionally and promptly. Will definitely stay with a Vacasa property again!
anthony r.Dec 2019
Had to run water for about 15 minutes before hot water came out. The shower head sprayed water all over and should be replaced. The lights in dining and living room were very dim. The TV should have some instructions so out of state people know how the TV works.
Hi, Anthony! Thank you for telling us about your stay. The property manager will look into the lighting and shower head to ensure everything is running smoothly. Please feel free to call for any assistance during your stay so we can help you be as comfortable as possible. We hope to see you again!

Well located and charm.

....would be the perfect way 2 describe this house. It was the ideal back-drop for our 1st ever Savannah visit. Even the next door neighbor was extremely affable! Owners of the home thought of every contingency. Would surely, highly recommend this property!
Davin J.Feb 2019
My family and I stayed here for 4 nights in February and we loved it. Very spacious and historic only a few blocks from Forsyth Park. Great porches and back yard. Walkable to everything. Just basically felt like a member of the neighborhood.
Barbara T.Dec 2018
There were 5 of us and the House worked very well. Two bathrooms was the selling point. Also the mirrored windows allowed us all to get ready at the same time. There are tenants upstairs that were a surprise, but even though we were probably fairly loud, they had no complaints when we asked the next day. Parked on the street with no problem. Constructive criticism would be to stock the house with some extra bedding, a few more towels, some better games, and instructions for the tv.(we wanted to watch Midnight in the Garden....so we could identify all the things in the city). Nonetheless, the price was very fair and no one nagged us with a bunch of rules. Great trip and accommodations.
Karon D.Oct 2018
Great location. Very clean and perfect for two couples. Well appointed.

So very close to the historic districts.

Location of the home and hands on manager help
Ondrea K.Oct 2018
We loved the opportunity to stay in a historical Savannah home. This did not disappoint. Not only was it a beautiful home, it was well set up, clean, and in a great location. There were 5 of us ages 10 to 90 and it worked well for everyone.
Midge C.Apr 2018
Loved the room to spread out and enjoy Savannah’s siteseeing.
Sherrin M.Apr 2018
Great location for walking to shopping and eating and parks. !
Elizabeth M.Apr 2018
We enjoyed our stay on Hall Street. The house was well appointed and very clean. The location was not at the heart of activity and just along the edge of the historic, center of Savannah. But, walking or biking from our stay was doable. Plenty of Lift and Uber drivers to get quickly and cheaply anywhere we wanted to go and the free dot bus system was great. We absolutely loved Savannah!
C G.Mar 2018
Accurately depicted. Great location to easily access historic district walking. Close to DOT free shuttle to downtown. Room with twin beds small. Would rent again.
Tracy H.Mar 2018
We were two couples and a baby. We enjoyed the location as it was convenient to Savannah Rum Runners where we had a great breakfast two mornings. We walked to Forsyth Park, through the squares and all the way to the river front.
Our concern was the overall cleanliness was lacking. We chose to sleep in the twin beds as the double bed is in bad need of replacement.
We apologize if cleanliness was lacking for this reservation. We wish we had been contacted for assistance in the matter so we could fix any oversights. We have followed-up with housekeeping. Thank you!

Served our needs for a short stay in Savannah
Linda T.Nov 2017
This apartment was in the perfect location where we could walk almost everywhere. It was well furnished and clean when we arrived. The back bedroom was a little cramped with the two beds and the air conditioner sitting on the night stand made it a little uncomfortable if we turned it on with the noise by my ear. Other than that, the place was perfect for our needs I would consider staying here again. Felt very safe to be walking around the neighborhood.
Laura Lee K.Nov 2017
Charming needs love. Needed wine glasses and hair dryer

Charles B.Sep 2017
This rental unit pretty much meets the standards of most of the other short term rental units in this price range in Savannah's historic district. Most of them need some repair or renovation work but are generally perfectly OK as a place to rent short term while visiting Savannah.
Tina K.Aug 2017
The property was a short 15-20min drive from the airport and just blocks away from Forsyth park. However, I would recommend driving if you wanted to go to River street or anywhere downtown since that would be a 30min walk. Savannah is a lovely city and would highly recommend going for a few days it was beautiful!
Mark B.Jul 2017
This location was very close to the major attractions of Savannah. The house accommodated five people nicely. It was well suited to the needs of our family.
Catherine W.May 2017
The location of the home to Forstyh park was perfect. The walk to the river is a bit long, but we enjoyed it and were able to walk to Forsyth park and then walk through many of the beautiful squares en route. The outside space was great, and the charm of the home is something we won't soon forget!
Shelley N.Apr 2017
This charming spacious rental is great for a large group. Spacious open living/dining room, quality small but efficient well equipped and updated kitchen. One small bathroom open to all quests. One bedroom is a suite with a Jacuzzi type bath tub.
Beds are comfortable and street noise is very negligible.
Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Space works well to allow for individual privacy and group interactions.
There is a small deck off the back bedroom with table and chairs.
Great location, walking distance to the beautiful Forsyth park.
We appreciated the fact that this unit is all on one floor with no stairs other than the front porch.
The local management team was exceptional.
The only down side was the dog in the adjoining unit that barked a lot.
All in all this is a great deal for the price.
William Mark S.Mar 2017
We enjoy the charm of such an old Victorian building. It was very roomy for our small group. Kitchen cooking area was very small but we only ate breakfast there.
The house was next door to a parking lot and the area was a little dumpy driving off the highway. However if you go the other way the area gets better. It is near downtown and the park, so we did not have to drive far.Great restaurants in the area. I enjoyed Savannah!
Dawn M.Nov 2016
The house is right next to an used car lot. The bordering street is a little sketchy. We were told by a couple of uber drivers not to cross Montgomery St. The backyard has a couple of plastic chairs to sit on with a view of a KFC and the car lot. The house could use a fresh coat of paint and an interior decorator. The furniture is uncomfortable. The mattresses are hard and the pillows are flat. The kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled. The kitchen could be better stocked. The side windows have been covered with mirrors. So the house was very dark. It is located within walking distance to Forsyth park and Mrs. Wilkes restaurant. We even walked to downtown Savannah. If you choose to take Uber, it only cost about 5 or 6 dollars to get downtown. I would rent from this company again. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. Another plus was they let us check out later since we had a late flight.
Alice B.Oct 2016
This unit was perfect for our long weekend in Savannah. The place was very clean and the location is perfect for walking to most of the wonderful attractions in Savannah. The A.C worked great - the unit was always cool and comfortable and we had no problem parking on the street, right in front of the building, even though jazz fest was going on nearby. My only critique, is the unit could use a few more amenities like bath mats in bathrooms and extra linens. The staff was always courteous and helpful when we called with questions or requests. We would definitely stay here again.
Cara G.Sep 2016
It was an acceptable accommodation. It was spacious.
