From the kitchen you will find a small balcony with comfy chairs, and there's another deck by the dining room where you can enjoy an dune view and sea breeze from the wooden bench and rockers. From here, wander down to the patio, where a firepit awaits you! Your dog will love the lawn and garden area, so feel free to bring her along (please note a one-dog limit and small, nightly pet fee).

Terrific house! Wonderful quiet area just 10min north of hustle & bustle of Seaside. Open floor plan upstairs with large kitchen and dining area that leads to awesome living room. Great for long weekend family trip to the Oregon Coast or small family reunion.

The house itself was really quite nice. There are a few things that need fixing. There are no hot pads or place mats and the pull out bed, when pulled out is not really something you could sleep on. If you leave it shut and sleep on it as a couch it would be okay. Saying that - there were plenty of dishes, pans, silverware, towels, games etc. The walk to the beach is far but not too far and it is a really nice beach. We enjoyed our stay.
My friends and I absolutely loved our stay. The house is even better than pictured! It has an open concept, beautiful master, huge garage filled with all sorts of sporting equipment to keep all entertained. The perfect sandy beach is just a short walk away and it seemed like we had the beach to ourselves all weekend since it is located North of Seaside.
Such a great weekend! Would love to come back again.

Exactly the vacation we needed! The home was clean, comfy, and a short walk to a gorgeous beach!!
The only complaint I had is that the 2nd bedroom is a full bed - would be so much more epic if it were another king!
Thank you for this great vacation rental!
Very relaxing and wonderful accommodations.
Great home, amazing location, and that beach! The neighborhood is quiet and was great for our ladies weekend. Perfectly situated near Warrenton, Seaside, and Astoria - play at the beach all day, but definitely enjoy the local sites.
This house is huge and well finished. Love the social kitchen area with it's big table and the comfy sofas around the fireplace. Hot tub was a nice touch and outside fire pit was enjoyable (no firewood provided). We found a path to the beach at the back of neighbour's properties opposite, nice 10 minute walk to the sand. Gated community is quiet and the properties are lovely, be prepared to drive anywhere you need.
Overall this was a beautiful home. Great location and I would definitely stay here again.
Such a lovely slice of the Oregon Coast! Perfectly appointed home with a gourmet kitchen, entertainment center that offers a lot and was quite easy to use (comes in handy on a stormy day!), and a modern hot tub that seats 4-6. As for the surroundings, well it doesn't really get much better. The home is situated in a well-planned gated community that runs along the ocean front. You have neighbors, but you'll instantly forget that they're there. Highly recommend this house for both short getaways and extended vacations. I'll be back.
Beautiful master suite, but downhill from there for sleeping accommodations. Nice large kitchen and main sitting area. Easy walk to beach, but a little far to restaurants.
Lovely home in a secluded neighborhood and area. It's quiet and tranquil. We saw several elk and were careful to keep a safe distance. Gorgeous home!
That said, it's a long walk to the beach and there are no convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, or otherwise within walking distance.
Beautiful, spacious house with a large backyard. The backyard is NOT fenced, so it is a little more difficult to let the dogs out, they have to stay on the leash. Master bedroom has its own fireplace, bathroom and walk-in closet. Great bed. Other beds in the house are not that good. 4 are bunk beds in the same room and 1 is a pull-out, uncomfortable as anything.
Stairs inside and outside are unpleasantly steep, not good for anyone with mobility problems. Otherwise, wonderful stay. Probably will not stay again, as the cost was rather high.
We were very happy with overall cleanliness of the property and there was enough space for everyone.
The property is located on a quiet gated community. No view of the ocean but can see the dunes and there is a small pond behind the house.
We enjoyed the fire pit and made s'mores. There is a hot tube as well but we didn't have a chance to use it.
Would definitely stay here if we vacation in this area again.
Beautiful house and location. Plenty of activities available for the grandkids.
The house was in perfect for our group. Good rooms and open common areas. Had everything we needed to stay entertained; beach supplies, sports, hot tub, fire pit, games. We wish we could stay forever!
This home exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. The photos don't really do the house justice. The landscaping is beautifully maintained. We loved the hot tub, the master bathroom, the wrap around patio and the sounds of the ocean. The walk to the beach was a short trek, but it was level and beautiful. The beach was deserted every time we went and we felt like we owned it! The wildlife was neat too. On our walk to the beach, we passed 20 feet from a cow elk! We saw deer in the backyard on 2 of the mornings. The kids loved the bunk beds and we loved that there were already books and toys. The technology was great as well - smart 3d TV with Blu ray and plenty of movies and gaming systems. We utilized the variety of board games too. Overall, the area was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend to our friends! We were a group of 6 adults and 5 kids.
This home was in a beautiful location. There is a gate into this community, so very little traffic and lots of privacy. It is a short walk to the beach, which you can walk on for miles. Behind the home we were delighted to hear a lively group of frogs on their lily pads in the pond at night. We saw a beautiful sunset and had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. We would highly recommend this home for a special stay.
We loved the home layout. The hot tub was clean, well maintained and hot when we arrived. The large jetted tub in the master bedroom is a very nice amenity. The kitchen is great for multiple cooks--we made BBQ oysters almost every day. The beach is close enough for kids to walk to and you can drive on it too. Everything was just spectacular!
Loved that it was in a gated area, minimizing anyone who doesn't belong there lurking around. Upon arrival, the house looked very presentable and when we stepped foot inside, we were very impressed with how clean it was. It is very beautiful inside and out with a great beachy feel. The layout of the house was great for entertaining a larger group. Some of the amenities that we frequently used were the firepit on the backyard and the gas bbq. Beautiful duck pond outside the backyard that is very peaceful to enjoy....just know that the frogs are out at night. Rooms were spacious enough to move about freely and the large master bathroom shower was amazing. There were a few things that didn't work but we have addressed these issues and hopefully they resolve them for future tenants! I would stay here again, and highly recommend this house.
Although we didn't get to dig clams because of a red tide, we thoroughly enjoyed are stay here! Beautiful surroundings, a a lovely house.
great place in between Astoria/Seaside/Cannon Beach
The house is beautiful. Very tastefully decorated and well equipped. However this house is certainly not oceanfront. The access to the beach is quite a walk. And the paths are privately owned, the public paths are the only ones we were allowed to use. Yet, you can't park near them. It's all walking. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, but with a lot of children and a husband with a slight disability....we declined to venture to the local beach. Again...NOT beachfront.
The house is gorgeous and spacious. The hot tub was wonderful and had a pretty view of the river. The beach is a nice walk away (not a straight shot, but down the road a little). Be aware that it's in a gated community and you will need to make sure Vacasa remembers to send you the access code. I have nothing bad to say about the house or my stay there; just that I would have appreciated not being forced to leave a voicemail asking for the gate access code at vacasa then not getting a return call for over an hour. We had a few people meeting us there and all had to wait outside the gate until I could get ahold of someone.
We had a great time here with our kids for 3 days. The location is wonderful, centrally located between Astoria and Seaside. The house is beautiful! It had everything we needed including dishwasher and laundry soap. The hottub was a lot of fun. I was a bit disappointed that the bathtub in the master bathroom didn't work, because it would've been nice. Hopefully they can fix that soon. The fireplaces were all very nice and helpful in the cold weather. I would definitely come again!
The house is not an Oceanfront you cannot see the ocean from the house the master bedroom does not have a TV although the jetted tub in the master bedroom was wonderful the house was cozy it had all the things you needed to cook in the kitchen was very beautiful they just need new pans family very comfortable would I stay there again yes it has all kinds of sports stuff for the kids to play a basketball hoop in the driveway you could not ask for more the walk to the beach is 15 minutes and there is a wonderful beautiful Lake View from windows in the house me and my husband also enjoyed the nice fireplace in the master bedroom my grandkids really enjoyed the playroom
What a lovely place to get away to; I went on an outing with some girl friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The front-of-house view has a beautiful vista looking towards the ocean; the back of the home (and living room) looks out over a creek. Everything was immaculate, and very comfortable. The jacuzzi was divine, as was the fireplace.
The house was beautiful, clean and has lots of unexpected additions I.E. fire pit outside, roller blades and outdoor equipment etc. The location was beautiful but I wouldnt really advertise this as oceanfront/waterfront. You cannot see the ocean from the house at all. The pond behind the house is nice but I wouldn't count that as waterfront. The photos of the downstairs rooms should be added to the listing. I think if they used the larger downstairs bedroom as an actual bedroom with a king size bed that could increase the potential for large families to stay here. The master bathroom is beautifully remodeled and very impressive. The master bedroom should have a tv since the smaller bedroom has a nice big flatscreen. Overall the house was perfect for our trip and we would definately rent again.
It was a great space! We loved the house and the view.
The house is much nicer than the pictures show. We found the kitchen better stocked with equipment than what we have experienced with other vacation rentals. While you cant see the surf when it's cloudy, you can hear it and the walk to the beach takes less than 5 minutes. We appreciated all the games and sports equipment that were available as well.
the house was great, loved the hot tub. everything was very clean.
Riley's Rest is a spacious home, perfect for our family Thanksgiving gathering. The kitchen is large with ample counter space for multiple cooks and we made good use of the double oven. We did have an issue with the large dinner plates hanging up the washer bar in the dishwasher and have mentioned this to the management.
Especially appreciated was the large master suite with sitting area and fireplace for my husband and I to escape to when we wanted a few quiet minutes. Our grandsons enjoyed the foosball table and other indoor games available in the garage especially as the weather was typically wet during our stay.
The hot tub is well located outside of the laundry room keeping wet towels and bathing suits out of the main house area.
Because there are wide dunes between the home and the ocean there really isn't an ocean view (on a clear day you can just make out the ocean on the skyline over the dunes). The beach is accessed via a number of marked trails and across the grassy dunes. One trail is .4 miles, the other .3 miles from the house. There is also a park just up the street from the house.
If location is important to you; visiting Astoria, historic Fort Clatsop, then south to Seaside and Cannon beach, this is a great location.
There was one issue with supplies for the house but the management responded promptly and to our satisfaction.
This house was such a treat. We stayed here for my birthday weekend. Super close to amenities, a short walk to beach access, and close to Astoria! Perfect house for families! We plan on coming back!
Though the ocean is fairly nearby, the view is of other houses across a pond. The hot tub is tepid & locked at that temp. The kitchen is stocked with goodwill dishes & cookware -we had to buy a decent frying pan. The only staples in the cabinet were salt pepper sugar & Pam. The reading room has no light.
Nice house. No attention to detail.
This home has a view of a pond out the back and a view of dunes and ocean out the front. The hot tub temperature is not locked and easily adjustable; we can assist our guests with this if necessary if they will reach out to us. The Property Manager has checked that there are good frying pans in the home and that lights are functioning in all rooms.
A very enjoyable stay, close to everthing
Our family chose this house for a reunion and we had so much fun we all plan to do this again next year. The house had all the requirements we needed to have a good time. We were able to see the deer, ducks and the ELK up close-so beautiful. The walk to the beach was fun but when we found out we could drive to and on the beach that was even better! Visited Astoria and Seaside as they were so close to visit. We enjoyed the open concept of the kitchen dining room the most, as we were able to cook up all that great seafood we bought as well as play family games at the same time. We would recommend this house over and over again.
Really enjoyed the peaceful vibe to this lovely home. The deck was our favorite place to be#
Great house in a great area
You will love it
This house was beautiful. Very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The furnishings are very nice and the layout is very conducive for a larger group. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. The front and back deck seemed brand new and was a very fun place to hang out. Hot tub was clean and well-maintained. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and were only disappointed that we couldn't stay longer!
Very nice house with a great kitchen and wonderful decks for viewing all the wildlife. The back deck had a pond to watch the ducks . Also deer often wandered through the yards. Even saw the elk a few times. Bed situation isn't the greatest if you have more than 4 adults as only 2 regular bedrooms. The front deck was also super to watch deer and elk roam through the dune grasses. We played many games on the great kitchen table. My family had a great vacation!!
We really enjoyed the proximity of wilderness and the peacefulness of warrenton. Perfect family weekend
This is a wonderful house, comfortable beds, high quality sheets and towels, etc, kitchen extremely well equipped with high end utensils, pots and pans. It was a pleasure to cook. Toys, bikes beach chairs were available and all extremely high end. Some of the toys were wonderful. Our only negative was there was no direct view of the ocean, and it was a bit of a walk to the beach, although there was access by a short drive. It was a wonderful house in a great area.
The house was well equiped, especially in the kitchen, very nicely furnished, the queen bed is "short", somewhat difficult for anybody with mobility issues as there are steep stairs within the house to get to the main floor with the livingroom and kitchen. Otherwise, lots of fun for kids, bicycles, rollerskates, fuseball in the garage, nice TV with good choice of movies. We watched Goonies the first night.
Main issues were: the price; very expensive. Also Vacasa did not include the gate code to get into Surfpines! We had to wait at the gate and hope a resident would come by to let us in!! It took 4 phone calls to Vacasa to get the code. Their phone lines were always busy. We had to take our chances when we went to the store to get charcoal that we could get back in. This was a major inconvenience!!
We are very sorry that we have been difficult to reach; we have hired more hands for the phones so we can alleviate this problem.
