Charming home w/ ocean views, large deck, entertainment

Vacationing has never been so relaxing! A getaway in this Maine home will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated thanks to its outdoor deck space, views of the water, cozy ambiance, and proximity to some of the state's most treasured destinations.

This secluded home, with its beautiful landscaping, is just five minutes from the heart of Boothbay, the town in which Trevett is situated. Across the street are mudflats (deposits of mud left by low tides) that you can carefully explore for marine life. The best part, though, is that you'll be right by your own body of water, so you can marvel in the gorgeous views all day long.

A lovely wood stove draws your eye to the living room. Using it is simple during the colder months of the year, when seasonal wood is provided for guests' use. This space also contains a stereo, sound dock, VCR with VHS library, and bright furnishings. WiFi means that you'll stay connected, and a cable-equipped TV means that you don't have to miss any of your favorite weekly shows.

The nearby kitchen provides lots of room in which to prepare dishes for the entire family. You'll have plenty of counter space, so you won't have to worry about getting frustrated because of too little room. You also won't have to worry about cleaning the dishes because the dishwasher will take care of them for you.

The breakfast bar in the kitchen offers seating space for up to four people, but a larger dining table and contemporary chandelier appear in front of windows next to the living room. You can also carry the meal outside and enjoy it at the over-sized, picnic-style table located on the deck.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home is able to sleep up to seven guests. One of the bedrooms includes two double beds and access to the backyard. A second bedroom, painted in a calming yellow, features another double bed. The last bedroom contains two twin beds - perfect for the kids in the family.

One of the bathrooms is brightly decorated in cheerful orange tones and includes a step-in shower. The remaining bathrooms are spacious and convenient. Speaking of convenience, you'll also have a private washer and dryer to ensure that your clothes stay fresh and clean.

Boothbay Harbor Country Club, which is open to the public, is only three miles from this home, so playing a round of golf and taking in the beautiful Maine landscape are simple. Trevett is only one mile from the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, a 270-acre paradise that offers plants and blooms year round on the shores of the Back River. Be sure to bring along your camera to capture photos of the dazzling scenery.

When you're visiting this area of midcoast Maine, you'll want to check out the Trevett Country Store, which serves up some delicious fried haddock and fresh lobster rolls - made with one of Maine's staple ingredients of course. After you've satisfied your seafood craving with some infamous Maine lobster, consider taking a short trip to central Boothbay to explore more than 30 miles of spectacular trails.

There's nothing better than sitting back, crossing your feet, and admiring your surroundings. Do all this and more in this delightful Maine home by booking your vacation today! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

We had an awesome time at Peg’s house! Don’t let the exterior fool you, it’s a wonderful spot. Great views, nice screen porch and lots of space. Some exterior and landscaping maintenance needed to make it more inviting but overall a fabulous place to stay!

A charming and warm place that feels like a comfortable family home- complete with the height measurements of possible grandchildren. With a large living and dining area, this is the perfect gathering for young families with elementary school age children. The porach is inviting for relaxing meals or star gazing. With a wide choice of activities, including water, dining and shopping, there is something for everyone. One drawback is the lack of hooks in bathrooms for towels, but ithis minor

This was our first trip to Maine. Our oldest sons were in a wedding. So along with their wives we decided to make it a family vacation for the 6 of us!! The location was great and we really enjoyed the house. Loved sitting on deck and even had a bonfire a couple nights! It was awesome! Can't wait to go back!!

This house has potential, but needs some help. All beds were very uncomfortable and seriously need to be assessed and replaced. We were very disappointed that we could not get a good nights rest during our week-long stay. The home is nicely decorated, but has a musty smell that even a candle couldn't erase, though it is possible to get used to, until you come back in from a day away. The grounds were mowed, but not very nicely kept. There were some key items missing, or could not be easily found, such as a colander, lighter, real wine glasses, etc. All drinkware and dinnerware is plastic, except for the
coffee mugs (thank goodness). The best part was the location and the view from the outside porch. Unfortunately this rental did not meet our expectations, for the price paid. We would not consider returning unless major changes were made.

Loved the view from the covered porch and having two living areas where adults could have a time out from the kids. Easy drive to booth bay harbor. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed with two other couples a couple of nights over Labor Day. From booking through to checkout, Vacasa was extremely helpful and provided a seamless experience. The house itself is in a quaint neighborhood with view of the water. There is a beach at Ocean Point Park about a 15 minute drive from the house (there is also a closer beach at Barrett Point Park but we didn't make it to that one). Very convenient to downtown Boothbay and easy to explore various smaller towns in the area. For clarification, there are 3 BR with a queen/double in all and a twin in one of the rooms. There was not another twin when we were there. I would highly recommend the home and look forward to staying there in the future!

Our family had a good time here. We appreciated the kitchen setup and stocking of pots and pans. We had a nice breakfast - bacon, blueberry pancakes with local Maine blueberries - all sitting at the bar in the kitchen. There's a great collection of games - we played Monopoly and Pit, 2 of our favorites. Having 2 bathrooms was nice for a family of 5. Great places to sit and relax.

I had to work during my visit and was able to do so from the sunny porch over looking the water. Everything about this home from the sounds of the stream and chirping frogs at night to the easy quick drive to town made this the ideal Vacation spot . The house felt inviting from the moment I arrived and I would like very much to return. Thank you for having me.
