The unit was fully accommodated with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a relaxing screen porch.
The walk to the beach is about 3-4 minutes through the parking lot. This unit is the furtherest from the beach within the complex. This end of the island is breathtaking! We found the beach wasn’t the best for our two boys to swim unless the tide was high. Low tide takes the ocean away but makes for an amazing critter searching experience. We really enjoyed all the wild life and searching for shark’s teeth!
I would have given this place 5 stars but the resident above us was up super early every morning and sounded as if they were going to come through the ceiling. We had to drive to Folly field to spend the day on the beach in order to get swimming in which added additional cost for parking and the headache of loading beach items each day. The airport is close by which means we heard airplanes taking off and landing throughout our stay. We weren’t in the unit a lot though. Also, there are a lot of cats on the property. We didn’t mind them, but if you aren’t a fan of animals this could be an issue. Otherwise, our stay was peaceful and relaxing.

Really nice to have beach access on property, as well as access to 2 outdoor pools and another indoor pool. Unit, and development as a whole, could use some updating. If you have an aversion, or are allergic to cats, do not rent here, as there are dozens of wild cats roaming the property and they are not shy. This property is directly in the line of planes landing and taking off from the airport, so if you're sensitive to noise then this is not the place for you. Pools and beach were never overly crowded, plenty of seating at each of the pools. Again, the direct beach access was key, and if you're willing to look past all of the above, then this is an affordable option to being able to walk directly on to the beach without ever getting in the car or paying admission.

the condo was nice and clean, updated appliances, nice beds and bedding, nice screened in porch. Laundry was available as well as laundry detergent and dish washing detergent. The Kitchen was more than adequate and well stocked.

However, It was NOT on the beach or ocean view as some of the pictures alluded to nor when we booked with the agent was she aware that it was not on the beach, per our request. It was a couple of buildings back to the sound, not the beach. We did drive to local beaches on the island that were on the ocean and they were generally nice.
There was no know key for one of the pools on the property, although I asked for it a couple of times. Parking is ok. Bordering on tight. The bathrooms could use and update, especially in the master shower with the two shower heads. The shower heads in the master were not steady and wabbled out of the holder, the wand shower head. There were no ceiling fans in any of the rooms, although there were some large box fans if you needed them. The towels were typical hotel type, adequate, nothing special. Overall it was nice but I think there are sumo wrestlers living above the unit!

Excellent stay. We enjoyed our stay here. We had a small parking issue and the local Vacasa rep, Darren resolved it very quickly. The home is exactly like it was described. We will definitely stay at this place and with another property on Vacasa.

The condo was as described. You will be on the north side of the Island facing the Port Royal Sound with the Atlantic Ocean to your right. The sun sets to your left which you can see from the beach. The beach is a five minute walk through the parking lot of the complex. There are outdoor showers to get the sand off and plenty of park-style BBQs available on the property. If you want crowds and action this is not the beach for you (your teenagers will not be happy!). It's a great beach for couples and families with young kids who want plenty of space and a quiet atmosphere. Our only issue with the condo was the family above us could get loud at times during the day but it was very quiet at night and we were gone most of the day (not sure if they were renters or owners)
