We all loved this house. All was there ready to use, even stuff to go to the lake. The gas BBQ was very pleasant and our kids loved to find books and games in the play room.

This house was perfect! It had everything we wanted from the kitchen, to bedrooms to the cute beach and close enough to go to Yosemite! Loved it all!
Space galore - 3 levels each with full bath means good zones for large and small groups. I thought the kids would be tired after Yosemite but they wanted to hit the pool - which is really nice!
This home had plenty of space. Beds on three levels. Nice game area, ping pong table. The outdoor tables on the deck would have been nice for grilling. View was pleasant out there, but unfortunately we didn't stay long enough for that. The upstairs is pretty warm, so best for cold-natured sleepers in the summer.
The community has a golf course and a lake with rentable kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Very nice, contained, gated community. The town outside the gate was fine, but not big and not many amenities - just basic grocery, pizza place, gas stations, and a few other diners/pubs.
Trying to park and exit the driveway proved challenging. I saw my buddies vehicle making a turn on three wheels. The driveway is steep, narrow and requires sharp turns. I always had to make a three point to four point turn to get out.
Also items like towels, soap and TP were not stocked or where they should be.
the room is spacious and equipped with all the cook ware we could think of, perfect for family stay and really love the table tennis in the basement. the baby toys and games and nice DVD collections that keep everyone busy! only one thing is hope the mattress could be firmer
I would not recommend anyone to rent in this neighborhood due to the fact that, we have to wait in line for almost 2 hours to go through the entry gate. It was worst that any airport security checkpoint. Seems like you are entering a military base and every time you go out and come back in, you have to go through the line again.
They should have some sort of card key, that tenants can use to get in an out of the community.
Plenty of room, a full kitchen (though not overly well-equipped). We enjoyed using the ping-pong table. As I mentioned above, be aware that the "45 minutes from Yosemite" means to the boundary - its another 45 minutes to the visitors' center.
This was a great option for seven adults. It was cozy and spacious. It was a pleasure to hang out there at night after a day hiking. Would definitely use VACASA again for future trips to Yosemite and elsewhere.
This cabin is beautiful and comfortable. Close to restaurants, shops, and Yosemite. Each morning deer would wander into the yard. At night we would rest our tired feet in a hot bath. Then we would have epic ping pong battles. The layout and decor of the cabin is perfect and left us feeling right at home. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
We really enjoyed the house. We used it as a base for trips to Yosemite. It is 1 hour and 15 minutes to the visitor center in Yosemite Valley, so you have to keep that in mind, but since it is on the way to SF it cut off the time on that end which was nice. The house was perfect for us. We had 6 people and had plenty of room, could easily have had a few more. I'm not sure if I would change anything. Groveland is a cute town, we would definitely come back.
We had a great time using this location as a base for visiting Yosemite. The house is quite large with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The house was clean and had more than enough room for our group of 7. Much bigger than it looked on-line. It was clean and convenient to the Park. Would highly recommend it.
This vacation home was perfect for our trip to yosemite for some hiking. Very comfortablly accommodated 8 of us. Very clean and well maintained. Just one comment, the lake area (very beautiful), is about 1/2 mile from the house. The road is hilly, and no sidewalk so if you are walking cars are driving by. You will need to walk to lake area. Otherwise everything was just as pictured.loved this place!
We enjoyed our stay here! Wished we stayed longer to visit the lake nearby.
Our family of 7 stayed three nights recently at this home and were very pleased with it. Everything was clean and well cared for, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pans, and dishes and we had a great time. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement, and we appreciated the space to spread out across the house levels that the home afforded.
Great house very large and perfectly clean. I recommend it !
Bonita experiencia la recomiendo
The listing for the home we rented told us we would have a 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. Upon arrival, we were told the road leading into the park had been closed for months and the posting had not updated to reflect this information. When we reached out to Vacasa staff, we were told nothing could be done to help us and were treating with disrespect. I will not be booking with this website again nor would I recommend this to anyone I know.
We are very sorry this guest felt we did not handle their predicament well, and we apologize for not having the listing updated. This guest was advised of another route to reach Yosemite (taking 140 West rather than 120). Thank you!
Just about perfect. We did need kindling in order to start a fire and there wasn't any, so didn't use the fireplace. The entire home was very comfortable -- loved the rocking chair and foot stool in upstairs bedroom, also the glider in the loft. The paint colors were very nice, especially liked the faux painting in the downstairs bathroom. Lots of room, would be perfect for a family get together.
Last minute booking for a nice two night getaway was easily set and confirmed through VRBO and Vacasa! House was very comfy and warm. Fireplace was handy though the heating worked well and kept us warm throughout the night. The kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils as were towels and linens. Game room had some board games and the tv downstairs was nicer for watching movies. Ping pong table was fun though not used that much. Overall very nice for the price and would recommend and rent again.
We stayed here for two nights during the winter. We were so surprised that the house is big enough for seven of us, because from outside looks like a tiny house. They make more rooms by having 3 stories. Our favourite is the ping pong room! We enjoyed it so much. Even though in the first night, the heater didn't work so we we're freezing to death. However, the next day they fixed it right away and even gave us three bottles of champagnes and a box of chocolate as the return.

We are a party of 8 and we all enjoyed our stay in this chalet. The best part of the chalet I personally liked is the game room in the basement. The upstairs bedroom is very spacious and has a great view. The chalet has a nice fireplace and the living room is nice too.
We stayed with 2 other couples and really enjoyed the house. Our intent was to visit Yosemite and it was a great location for us, close enough and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings. The Groveland grocery store had everything we needed and was very close. It would have been nice to spend time at the lake in the summer.
It was very homey. The whole house was outstanding. It was all wonderful. The lake and the pool were wonderful.
Tall, split level property. 3 floors, it's built on a steep slope so the top floor is not actually far off the ground at the back, and is still overlooked by houses further up the slope. It's also a bit gloomy, due to the steep slope at the back and the (admittedly lovely) pine trees overhead.
It's just a few metres up the steep driveway off the main pine mountain lake access road. Lots of stairs in the house, so not really appropriate for people with limited mobility. 50 miles to Yosemite valley. 3 bathrooms. It would easily accommodate 3 couples plus 2 children. Nice idea to have table tennis table on ground floor.
Very quiet indeed in the pine trees - probably not the best place to stay if you're easily spooked, or you like hustle and bustle around you! Well equipped kitched.
Great very roomy, with all cooking supplies needed
Enjoyed our stay, recommend to others
Good location, very spacious, mostly clean
we'll definitely stay there again, plus sheets & towels were provided.
Loved our trip to Groveland/PML.
House location is just 6 minutes walk from main Marina. We never moved our car because location was so convenient. Good size house with challenging driveway for big cars. It is a bit outdated but the location and the view from the deck compensates for that.
This was a great spot for a trip to Yosemite! My first time in the Pine Mountain Lake area. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing get-away in the Sierras. The house was perfect! Sitting out on the deck was a little noisy at times, but that didn't stop us from enjoying it. The house had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Wish we could've stayed an extra day!
