Rustic cabin with shared hot springs on the Crystal River!
Leave the hustle and bustle of daily life behind, and surround yourself with serene meadows, bubbling hot springs, and firefly-filled nights when you book your stay at this Redstone escape for four. Spend your days fishing and kayaking, and your nights star gazing and unwinding.
Set three miles north from the heart of Redstone and 13 miles south of Carbondale, you'll be close to dining and local attractions, while being nestled in the beauty of Mother Nature. Be sure to stock up on groceries and fuel in Carbondale on your way to the property. During the winter months we recommend using a vehicle with 4x4 to access the home safely.
The beauty of this property caught the eye of Disney and hosted sites seen in the movie "Tall Tales," and this home is perfect for travelers looking for a small slice of a peaceful paradise. Featuring a classic cabin ambiance, you'll have all the basics that you need for a relaxing stay.
Step out on the deck with an ice-cold brew or two and take in the tree-lined views. Snap a few pictures, then connect to the WiFi to send them to your friends back at home. Throw a steak and a few veggies on the gas BBQ to grill up a delicious meal, or head inside to put the cozy kitchenette to use. Featuring a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker (no stove/oven or dishwasher), you'll have the essentials to whip up a tasty dish.
After dinner, revel in the natural warmth of the shared hot springs just a few steps away from your cabin. This cabin, along with the few others on this property, have use of two tiled tubs along the river that are filled with natural hot spring water. Sip a cocktail on the deck and watch the fireflies come out to dance with the stars.
As the day winds down and it's time to turn in, this single-bedroom, one-bathroom home can sleep up to four people. In the bedroom, you'll find a queen-size bed and plenty of storage, while in the main living area there is a fold-out futon for more sleeping options.
Grab your fishing gear or your kayak and head to the private stretch of the Crystal River. Paddle along the banks, or head over to the Filoha Meadows Open Space that is just across the river from this property. Open to the public July through September, you'll be able to observe elk, deer, and an abundance of wildlife. Spend the day at The Roaring Fork Conservancy for one of their nature-inspired walks or teaching sessions.
During the winter months, you'll be able to explore the area while you delve into some backcountry and Nordic skiing. Treat everyone to delicious, smokey meal at Marble's Slow Groov'n BBQ restaurant in Redstone. Open from May through October, everyone will love the St. Louis-style BBQ or their signature sandwich, the Megatron Melt. With thinly sliced brisket and a bevy of mouth-watering ingredients, no one will leave hungry.
Stay stress-free in the embrace of wildflowers and bubbling hot spring when you plan your escape to this Colorado getaway.

This is 1 of 4 charming rentals onsite (2 rentals to a building). While close to the (very lightly trafficked) road, this offers a very peaceful getaway. The hot tubs offer fantastic views of the valley(especially the one down by the river). The property manager is very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the land. He is definitely worth talking to if you'd like to know more about the property, the wildlife, or the surrounding geography. Great place to stay all around! I hope we get to come back someday.

The towels smelled of cigarettes and there were 2 “colonies” of gnats - kitchen corner and one in the bedroom. If it weren’t so cold, I would have slept in my car because there were so many, they were getting in my eyes and all over my food.
We are sorry to read you did not have a better stay, Martha. We have discussed the towels with housekeeping. We did not experience any gnat issues while preparing the home, but we will investigate and see if pest control is necessary. Thank you!

Quiet and cozy. The views were amazing. Plenty of trails to hike nearby. Will stay here again

Easy in and out. Great views and the hot springs tubs were amazing.

The pictures don't even show how amazing and beautiful this place is! Natural hot spring hot tubs with views of the canyons and river are so serene, I could have sat there all day. We enjoyed gem in the morning and watched the sun come over the canyons. The tub was a more comfortable temperature at that time too. The cabin was nice and we felt like we were the only ones there! Nice size for two but you could easily have four comfortably.

My husband and parents stayed here for 4 nights August 2018. The location is ideal for White River National Forest, close to Marble, Redstone, and Carbondale. The kitchen was a perfect size, simple, had everything you may need (including a coffee grinder). There are 3 hot tubs around the property and one easy walking trail that connects to the property as well as a longer walking trail that leads to Redstone. The driveway is easy to miss and can be a bit dangerous to pull out of, so be careful with that. For future reference, you are able to rent all 4 cabins for family reunions and such. We'd like to come back sometime!

My husband enjoyed fishing in the Crystal River and we both enjoyed the hot spring fed hot tubs. The bed was very soft and comfortable and we really loved being unplugged although there is wireless internet available in the cabin.

This little Cabin is surrounded by beautiful cliffs, rock formations and mountains. The hot spring hot tubs were very nice. Off the beaten path but worth the drive

We loved the property and the hot tubs. The view was breathtaking and viewing the elk from the tubs was amazing! The trail along the crystal river that is directly accessed on the property was gorgeous and would be perfect for doing yoga...... the property could use some lights outside on walkways to ensure safer environment for guests and children and if you need a comfortable bed this place isn't for you......
The maitenance man was also very accommodating and helpful.

The overall place was clean. Down part is that everything is super old and outdated. The pillow smell dirty and had stains on both the case and the actual pillows. The bed kept us up all night when we finally fell asleep the sunlight came directly into the room with. Place could use dark shades.
We have replaced the pillows and are consulting with the owners about updating the furnishings and mattresses. Thank you!

We spent four days of our honeymoon here, taking day trips to Aspen and Glenwood Springs. We were also snowed in one day. The cabin was perfect for us - affordable, clean, and felt like home. We loved walking around the property and using the hot tub. Mike (the caretaker) made us feel at home and we enjoyed every minute of our stay!

My husband and I love this area. We had stayed at the Redstone Inn back in 1988. And so when our niece said she was getting married in the little town of Marble Colorado, I fist checked for vacancies there, but "there was no room at the inn" :)Then I tried for a small cabin in the town of Marble but again,no openings. So this was my 3rd choice, and now I look back and see this as divine intervention!! This place was amazing. No tv!!!!!! The peace and quiet was the perfect sanctuary we needed. Got lots of reading done. The view of the meadow with the mountains behind, well,I couldn't stop looking!!And the hot tubs were just the ticket!!There was nothing lacking in this place and any time I am Blesssed enough to get to return to this area, cabin #3 on the Filoha Meadow will be my first choice!!!

We loved it. The views and the access to hiking were amazing. Even though we were close enough to grocery stores etc.....when we were in the cabin it felt like a lifetime away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The private hot springs tubs were fabulous......especially the one by the river. The mosquitoes were mean however.....we had to go buy bug spray. The maintenance man was friendly and helpful too. We felt extremely blessed to be able to stay in this gorgeous place for the Labor Day weekend. We will be back.

The cabins here are very cleanly and nice. Enjoy beautiful views from the shared back porch. We enjoyed the natural hot springs and one of a kind Filoha Meadows Nature Preserve. The kitchen is well stocked.

I can't even begin to explan the amount of joy my husband and I felt while staying here. The sound of the river, the stars at night, the view, the peacefulness. I can't wait to go back and take my kids.

Great place to stay! Loved the two private hot springs pools. One day they were too hot but the owner came by and showed us how to turn them down.

I booked this cabin for my boyfriend's birthday as a surprise. He and I both loved it! Great location along the river, beautiful area. The hot tubs were great to relax in, as well as Penny Hot Springs up the road. The kitchenette had all necessary amenities to make meals. I would definitely come back here!

This place is absolutely wonderful. I stayed there alone as a retreat from my busy life, and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The solitude, beauty, hot springs, river, cleanliness, and spaciousness were all perfect. I truly did not want to leave, and I will certainly book another stay here.

Great place to stay, convenient location for us????

We found this little gem last minute while searching for a weekend getaway. We timed it perfectly as the trees were starting to change colors. The ridge was aglow with red, yellow, and orange. We were up every morning early to fish in the river that runs through the property followed by sitting in the hot springs fed hot tub watching the sun come over the ridge. We will definitely be back.
