Cozy cabin w/ private hot tub, entertainment & SHARC passes - dogs ok!

Have a memorable time at this cozy cabin in Sunriver, offering a private hot tub, dog-friendly accommodations, air conditioning, entertainment, and complimentary SHARC passes for up to eight guests to have a most spectacular vacation!

Sitting at the southern end of Sunriver in a prime location, you are within easy walking distance of the Village, Meadows Golf Course, and the Harper Bridge drop-in on the Deschutes River for a refreshing river float.

The cabin features a warm, wooden interior, a newly renovated kitchen and guest bathroom, and radiant sunlight streaming through abundant picture windows. Settle into the comfy furniture in the living area and relax with a book, or bust out a board game for fun with the whole family. In less-than-fair weather, you might watch a DVD from the collection or stream your favorite Netflix shows over WiFi on the flatscreen cable TV.

At the other end of the room is an updated open kitchen, compact yet containing everything you need to make delicious meals, with extras like a blender, coffeemaker, and a dishwasher so the chef of the group won't have to fret about clean-up! Three can sit at the breakfast bar for a quick meal, and four will fit around the dining table.

Outside, a large, gorgeous deck will encourage you to spend plenty of time in the company of songbirds and sunshine. Gather around the patio table for conversation and cocktails, grill up something tasty on the gas grill, and soak in the hot tub on starry nights to find your own slice of paradise!

Three bedrooms and two full baths make this home suitable for up to eight travelers. One bedroom features a queen bed with a full private bath and a walk-in shower - great for anyone with limited mobility. Another bedroom has a queen bed, as well, and the third room has two sets of twin bunk beds (four total) where the kids can sleep.

Feel free to bring your furry companions along for the fun of a vacation, just note that there is a two dog limit. A private washer/dryer allows for freshening any laundry.

This home is perfect for a multi-generational family, a couple of families traveling together, or a group of friends - go bike riding on over 30 miles of paved trails throughout the community, stopping by the marina for some water fun, or the stables for a horseback riding adventure. Your complimentary SHARC passes gain you entry to the shared pools and waterslides at the rec center, as well as tennis courts around Sunriver.

In summer, a scenic hike, bike ride, or trail run at Benham Falls is a great way to spend the day or head west along the Cascade Lake Highway to find your own stellar spot on the shore of a refreshing lake. In winter, world-class skiing at Mt Bachelor is only 20 miles away, and a number of snow-parks nearby offer snowshoeing and Nordic skiing. After a long day, grab some food and a drink at one of the restaurants at the Village and grab dessert at Goody's.

Great location, and perfect size for our family of four. Great amenities, and we enjoyed the hot tub and bikes, too. You'll have a great time here.

Great location close to Village! Enough room for a family of five and dog.

Great location, close to the business park and the village. The cabin was clean, very well stocked kitchen (even had some Tupperware for leftovers), lots of fluffy towels. Very quiet area and easy to get in and out of Sunriver to go hiking or fishing or ??? The kitchen was small, but really, how big of a kitchen do you need on vacation? Comfy beds with a medium firm mattress (no memory foam yay!!!) Plenty of room and dog friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great place to spend the weekend with the family. Great separation of space for sleeping, and plenty of room for all. The area VACASA rep was very prompt when we had any questions or needs.

I loved the location, the amenities the home provided, and the nearby trails.

This house and location were perfect. My kids and my mom were there so perfect amount of space. Biked to everything. The added SHARC passes is a use bonus for pool trips. The house itself was clean and well stocked. Large porch and while we were there quite the quiet stay. Enjoyed the hot tub after a day of biking. Hope to make it a yearly stay.

Perfect little cabin getaway in Sunriver

This home is in a great location within walking distance to the Village and Sharc. It is pretty dated but clean. We appreciated being able to bring our dog and although it was a bit rustic, we enjoyed our time there.

We found the home very clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Our stay came at a time of unusual hot weather and the home was a little warm during the day, but quickly cooled down at night for sleeping. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix simple meals. The hot tub on the back porch was clean and we enjoyed relaxing in the evening.

The only negatives were the lighting was dim and switches hard to find. This may be my old man showing through. As mentioned above the daytimes temperatures were unusually high there were two portable fans to use in the living room, but one did not work and the other one had broken blades and would only run on low. I don't think this would be a problem normally since there was plenty of ventilation.

We did not spend much time in the Sun River area, but from what I saw there was plenty to do for all ages. I recommend visiting Lava Land National Monument, Bedham Falls Trail, Lava Cast Forest Trail, Tumalo Falls and the High Desert Museum. You can spend a day at the museum. We also traveled to Crater Lake National Park (about 1.5 hours) and Newberry Volcano National Monument (about 45 min). Two forest fires were burning in the area and visibility was limited to less than 5 miles so the Cascades were never very visible even after a road trip west of Sister.

Overall we enjoyed our stay with many things for us to come back for. I would definitely rent this home again.
Manager response:
We are glad to see this stay was enjoyable! The broken fans have been replaced. The light switches are in usual places, but easy to locate. The home is made of raw cedar which can be hard to illuminate, so we apologize if the home was darker than our guest would have liked. Thank you!

It's nothing fancy, but it's got lots of beds and a hot tub! It's on a great street in an accessible location. The living room is a bit hodge-podge and it would be nice if they had enough cohesive seating to accommodate the # of people the house sleeps!

Used Sunriver as a base to travel around the area. Lodging was great and we all loved the cabin feel inside the home. We were all surprised with the variety of shops catering to the visitors. We all enjoyed the walks through Sunriver. We all had a very relaxing stay.

Great deck and very comfortable. Small kitchen.

This house was in a great location within Sunriver. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kids enjoyed playing in the yard in the snow. We would love to come back during the summer season.

Wonderful location, great little house but furnace is disturbingly loud in master bedroom. Otherwise, extremely nice place to stay.

I don't think I I would rent this place again. The beds are super uncomfortable and the lighting is pretty hokey. There are no rugs anywhere so the carpet gets wet easily. The house is much smaller than it appears in the pictures. It does have a smart tv with Netflix and a pretty well stocked kitchen. There was only 3 Hot tub towels and the home sleeps 8 so that seemed odd.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing some valuable feedback with us. We always appreciate our guests giving us ideas to make sure the home is as comfortable as possible. New bedding has been added, welcome mats were placed to help keep the carpets dry and we have worked with our housekeeping staff to make sure enough hot tub towels are added to the home for each stay. We hope you give this home another chance and see the improvements yourself.

This little gem is warm and cozy. Beds were great, kitchen had plenty of dishes. Love the mini-lodge feel of the natural- throughout, ie beams and walls. Kind of retro 70's. The lighting is a little dim throughout, but hey. Appreciated the quiet neighgborhood, where I could go out and walk in Sunriver, and to use the SHARC indoor pool. There is a hot tub which we did not use, and it was great to have a big-screen TV and DVD player, as well as wifi. Loved having my little Chihuahua. I would definitely stay here again, knowing of course that it's 20 miles from Bend, so that comes into consideration if one is seeking restaurants and such. We packed a lot of food this time, knowing that. I loved the late check-out where you pay around $25 and can stay until 7 p.m. the last day!

I would stay here again but the property could use some updates and better amenities. Location is great, easy walk to both the lodge and market area. Nice deck and surroundings. It's very cozy and has a rustic cabin like feel. I would suggest the owners invest in new beds for the two main bedrooms and also update the counters and cabinets. Overall a nice place to stay in the lower price point of Sun River rental homes.
