After tucking the car away in the garage (one inside, two more out on the driveway, and no parking on the street), grab the luggage and head up the stairs (12 of them) to the first level. Here, you'll find three bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed. Two of them also have access to the lower deck where you can slip out for a breath of fresh ocean air in the morning or before bed. Each bedroom has a TV for late night viewing. There's also a full bathroom with a tub/shower condo, another full bedroom on the lower level, and a washer and dryer.

Climb ten more steps to this home's living area, and you're in a space where you can kick off your shoes, relax and enjoy some of the perks of home like a large flat screen TV w/ satellite, DVD, and WiFi. Savor the view of the Pacific through the big picture windows, or have a seat on the patio and sip a drink as you watch the sea birds hover around the beach across the way.

Part of the big, open living area on the top floor, the kitchen not only comes with all the equipment and utensils your cook will need to whip up a wholesome and delicious meal, he or she will also enjoy the same great view while they're slicing and dicing. There's a microwave for that quick snack or batch of popcorn before a movie, a coffee grinder with a fresh batch of beans, and a dishwasher so you're not wasting time scrubbing at the sink.

If you're going across the street to the beach, be prepared for some stairs. The stairway is masterfully done with places to pause strategically placed along the way. Before you know it, the kids are playing in the soft sand! And that's just a portion of the seven miles of beach the city boasts with 15 accesses (a handicap-accessible access is just down the road at Anchor Street).

Because of its location on 45th Parallel, the wind is such a persistent feature in these parts, it's no accident that it's known as the 'Kite Capital of the World.' Why not bring your own and watch it dance, buffeted by the ocean winds? Golfers: Tee up at Salishan Resort just nine minutes south of Lincoln City. Anglers: Nine species of freshwater fish call Devil's Lake home.

Or, if you're in a gambling mood, pay Lady Luck a visit at nearby Chinook Winds Casino. If you're traveling with children, you'll find a nice playground tucked away in the Olivia Beach neighborhood just to the east of the home.
