Spacious lakefront property w/ panoramic views, on-site golf, & shared pool

Come revel in the serene simplicity offered at this upscale and expansive lakefront home. You and your group of up to eight will fall in love with the beautiful natural surroundings and enjoy stunning lake views, on-site golf, and shared amenities, like a seasonal pool and tennis courts.

Located less than a mile east of Groveland, in the private, gated Pine Mountain Lake community, this inviting home puts you 26 miles west of Yosemite National Park (earning this area the title of "Gateway to Yosemite") and provides you access to outdoor fun year round. You'll also be within close proximity to shopping and restaurants in town. And Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is only 54 miles away.

Step inside and immediately sense the warm, welcoming atmosphere. After you're settled in, lounge and get your bearings on the plush sectional sofa in the cozy den area in front of the gas fireplace in the winter. In the summertime hang out on your private deck, accessible through wood-framed sliding glass doors, and take in the beautiful surroundings of your new home away from home. If temperatures rise beyond your comfort level, the central AC will keep you cool. And please note that, even though more than a light dusting of snow is unusual in the winter, you may require 4WD or chains.

This home also features a comfy living room where you can enjoy movie night, provided by the flatscreen cable TV. Get unplugged, thanks to the absence of the Internet, and give yourself a true break from the noise and over-stimulation of the daily grind.

The dining area, with its attractive wood table, featuring regular and bench seating, offers ample seating for your large group, while the nearby breakfast bar provides seating for three. The kitchen invites you to come in, make yourself at home, and whip up a classic culinary creation that's sure to please your guests. With high-end appliances, including a dishwasher, you'll find this area very conducive to easy meal prep and cleanup.

This four-bedroom, four-bath home comfortably accommodates eight guests. The master bedroom boasts a spacious king-size bed, while two more rooms each feature a queen bed. The fourth bedroom has a double bed.

The four full baths, offering combinations of walk-in showers and shower/tub combos, as well as single and double sinks, all provide you with more than enough space to take care of morning preparations with ease and to perform your nighttime rituals before bed. This home also provides a full laundry room, complete with washer, dryer, counter space, and utility sink, for even more added convenience.

Pine Mountain Lake is an "all-seasons community," so you'll find plenty to do, no matter when you stay. The 202-acre lake itself, with six miles of shoreline and three sandy swim beaches, may be all you need to thoroughly enjoy yourself. In addition to hiking and horseback riding, you can fish for trout. Be aware that, although there's a private dock perfect for fishing and jumping off of, personal boats are not allowed. Not to worry, though, as rentals of all types (kayaks, sailboats, paddle boats, and fishing boats) are available for rent at the marina.

For a change of pace, take a dip in the shared seasonal pool, or work in a game of tennis at the shared courts. And don't forget about the on-site 18-hole golf course, available to guests for a discounted fee. But since you're so close to Yosemite, be sure to make the drive into the national park for hiking, nature viewing, rock climbing, or to simply enjoy nature's splendor. And for a little indoor fun, drive to Black Oak Casino, just 27 miles north of you.

Whether you're looking for a summer or winter getaway, and whether you want to get outside and be active or keep it low-key and recharge, this lovely lakeside vacation home has everything you need. Make your reservation now, and start the process of making your next unforgettable vacation a reality!

* Please note that if you bring vehicles you will need to buy a $27 per-vehicle parking pass. Also be aware that cell phone reception is very spotty in this area. Thank you!

This home is a great vacation rental for a large family or multiple families. Sleeps 9-10 comfortably and plenty of floor room/couch space for more. Great deck and backyard that runs right down to the lake. New Weber grill on the porch too!

Location is wonderful. On the lake, beautiful area. The house was clean. We had numerous minor maintenance issues that were annoying and made the stay less pleasant. We had 6 adults and 2 children. There isn't a single room that fits everyone comfortably, you have to split up - some at the kitchen table, some on the couch for instance. Same in the entertainment room.

    Manager Response:

We apologize for any maintenance problems this guest encountered and wish they had contacted us for assistance.

This house is in need of cleaning and refreshing. When you pay over $2,000. for three nights one does not expect broken lock box, empty gas for BBQ, filthy carpets, shredded throw rungs, stained couch, rotted outdoor furniture and drapes that are broken therefore inhibiting the beautiful view.
    Keep looking.....

    Manager Response:

We are sorry to see this unit was not in better shape for guest arrival. We immediately brought this guest a new propane tank upon notification and removed the throw rug to the office. The lock box was sticking, so we have replaced it, and the carpets are being cleaned by Thanksgiving week. If the blinds cannot be repaired, we will have them replaced. Thank you!

We used the lakehouse as our base for day trips to Yosemite. The location is unbeatable! We comfortably fit 6 adults and 4 children. The kids spent an entire day swimming and fishing off the dock. Thank you for sharing your home- we hope to return soon!

We loved this house. The location was great and the space was perfect for our 2 families. We enjoyed swimming off the dock and the kids spent hours in the playroom. The beds were all very comfortable and we were happy to have the air conditioning in the 100 degree heat we experienced. Looking forward to renting this house again in the future!

This is a beautiful home. Very clean with high end amenities throughout. Designer decor and touches. Basement game room was a huge hit with the kids and I was thrilled to have them off technology for two days with no wifi! I would stay here again and highly recommend it to others. It's an easy drive to Yosemite.
