Beautiful location for climbing and hiking
This is a nice cabin. Quiet and enjoyable community to visit.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It was an easy walk to town and sufficient parking.
The house is very warm and spacious. The pictures show pretty much what you'll find. Only some of the furniture is a little bit old.
The cabin was ok, a bit more shabby in person than the photos. The bigger issue is that it’s next door to another really large rental cabin. The guest had a weekend long “retreat” they told us, but they played loud music, used a mic with speakers and generally made it so we couldn’t have the windows open because it was so loud. They also started a fire in the backyard and we had to call Cal Fire. It’s unfortunate because this review isn’t so much about the cabin itself but the renters next door pretty much ruined the experience of a quiet weekend in the mountains.
We have notified the management company of the neighboring cabin and apologize for the disruption this guest experienced.
Cabin felt like home away from home. Very clean! Quality appliances! Nice bathrooms!
Super clean, newly remodeled!
We had a great time. I would go again in a minute.
I think this home was very clean, the accomodations were perfect for my family and the location was fabulous. Loved everything about it
Nicest, most relaxing vacation we've had in a long time. Comfortable and with a full kitchen including dishwasher, coffee grinder and espresso maker. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with us and a 4 wheel drive would have helped a lot.
was a beautiful relaxing trip... The beds were amazing, the whole place was perfect
Very nice cabin, the cabin has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. We made last minute reservations for a weekend stay. Everything was perfect, my grandkids enjoyed playing in the snow and we enjoyed watching them.
If you want to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life... This is the place!😀
The management company failed to have the propane supply ready so everything stopped working. No gas, no heat, no stove, no oven, no hot water. It was 25 degrees outside. Major bummer!
We apologize for the issue with the propane. The propane company filled it up and forgot to reconnect it to the house. This has been addressed. Thank you!
We stayed at this nice little home for a long weekend with our 2 kids. The house is very close to everything in Idyllwild but in a nice quiet neighborhood. This has to be one of the cleanest places we've stayed and everything was very comfortable. There's plenty of room for everyone with the 3 bedrooms & 2 baths and a nice little yard & patio. Would definitely stay here any time!
The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen which allowed us to cook meals for ourselves. The outdoor patio was a wonderful place to have a cup of coffee in the morning and to enjoy some quiet time in the evening.
We enjoyed our stay! House very comfortable and close to town. The only negative thing is that there was no air conditioning and we were there during a heat wave!:((( at least at night it was calling off!
What a great place to stay! The interior was practically all new and very clean. The kitchen was pretty well equipped with nice finishings. The microwave was not working so we called Vacasa customer service and someone at our door with a new microwave within an hour. Pretty great customer service!
We would absolutely stay here again.
Loved staying here. Would absolutely come back!
That were pretty awesome days in Idyllwild. We can recommend this to anybody.
We enjoyed staying at this updated home in Idyllwild. It was a very quick drive into town, beds were quite comfortable and it had all the amenities we needed. Great deck for eating outside.
Don't want to let the secret out how great the place is. Want to rent again
Great location near all shops and dining. Make sure you have enough clean/ extra clothes. The cabin doesn't have a washer or dryer.
We had a great time relaxing in the home as a family. Just what we needed to get away. It was cozy and had all the convenience of being in our home. Thank you.
great property only thing it needs is a washer and dryer.
A bike would have been nice...
We had a great time and really enjoyed staying at Casa Tahquitz.
Husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Everything was very nice. Place was clean and well maintained. About .5 miles into town for nice restaurants and shopping. It was easy to find and the instructions were very good. We could only get the TV to work with Amazon Prime or Netflix. Maybe we were doing something wrong. Kitchen has new or newer pots and pans and pretty much everything you would need to cook a nice meal. There is a new patio table, chairs and umbrella out on the deck and we really enjoyed sitting out there reading the paper and eating dinner. The neighborhood is quiet. Heat and AC work well, along with a couple of ceiling fans. Has 2 queen beds (1 in each bedroom) and what I would call a youth bed in the 3rd bedroom. I don't think an adult would be comfortable in that bed, but it would be great for a child. We enjoyed this place enough we will be coming back again!
