Mountain condo, close to skiing & hiking w/shared pool & hot tub

Settle in at this secluded and cozy condo with a ski-lodge feel and get started on your next unforgettable Tahoe retreat. Suitable for groups, families, and multiple couples, this sunny vacation rental will provide you and your guests with all the amenities you want, like a shared pool, hot tub, and sauna, while putting you in close proximity to the conveniences you need.

Located in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Truckee, just under one mile from Northstar California Resort and less than eight miles from historic downtown, you'll be in a prime location to ski or hike to your heart's content and just as easily head to town to stock up on groceries. Northstar offers world-class skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and an ice skating rink in the winter. During the summer, there's a world-class 18-hole golf course with a driving range, mountain biking, and hiking. The Northstar condo association includes a full clubhouse, a dozen tennis courts with a large game room, two pools, and three hot tubs and sauna all with lockers and showers (small fee required).

Step into this condo's living area and immediately feel at home. The vaulted ceilings lend a spaciousness, while the plentiful wood accents throughout give this home a cozy vibe. Add to that the natural light provided by the plentiful windows, and you have the perfect environment for comfort, rest, and relaxation.

Listen to some tunes on the stereo as you unpack and get situated, and check snow levels and area attractions with the complimentary WiFi. Then settle back on the comfy leather furniture and warm up by the fire in the winter months as you watch a movie on the flatscreen cable TV, complete with a DVD/VCR player. In the summer, hang out on the balcony, accessible through sliding glass doors and view your lush, green surroundings.

Gather around the solid wood table in the dining area, accompanied by attractive leather chairs, for socializing and group dinners you prepare in the fully equipped, galley-style kitchen. With white standard appliances, including a dishwasher, you'll have everything you need for easy meal prep and clean up, and the large window over the sink, letting in lots of warm sunshine, will have you humming while you work.

This two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath condo accommodates up to eight guests. Rest well on the soft queen-size bed in the master bedroom, and know that your guests will get a great night's sleep on the two twin bunk sets in the second bedroom.

The additional sofa bed provides yet another sleeping option for the remainder of your guests. With the private washer and dryer offered in this home, you'll be able to keep your clothes clean and fresh throughout your stay.

If you’re a sight-seeker and hiker, be sure you check out Donner Memorial State Park. Some other great outdoor activities include Martis Peak Fire Lookout, Tompkins Memorial Trail, Tahoe Donner Cross Country, and Donner Lake Watersports & Marina. For the kids, the KidZone Museum is a must-see. Other indoor options in the area include the Truckee Railroad Museum, the Old Truckee Jail Museum, and the Truckee River Winery.

Like all of Tahoe, there are plenty of outdoor activity options, including river rafting, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, parasailing, horseback riding, mountain biking, and more. Lastly, Truckee offers some really amazing golf courses, including Coyote Moon Golf Course, Tahoe Donner Golf Course, and Old Greenwood Golf Course.

When you want it all without the need to travel far, regardless of the time of year, make this lovely vacation condo your home away from home for your next Tahoe getaway. Make some plans, and book your dates today! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

This was an Incredible Trip! My Family, especially my Grandbabies had the time of their lives! I cannot Thank the Owners enough for allowing us to experience the Love and Comfort of their Beautiful Home! From the ready warm temperature that was waiting for us the moment we entered from the snowy cold to the wall to wall load of chopped fire wood stacked on the balcony for our enjoyment! And boy did we ENJOY it, making new memories around the fireplace! Thank you for the lovely dish and flatware, you spared no expense on the variety and abundance there of!

To clear the air about that cookware comment in which I thought I'd need to bring my pots & pans, the teflon skillet was no more worn that a teflon pan washed with the green brillo on the back of a sponge pads! It served up our cheesy eggs perfect, just the way we like it, fluffy and tasty! We even barbecued using your wonderful BBQ tool belt!
I simply loved the entire experience the comfortable bedding all the extra blankets and comforters and washer and dryer, the beautiful landscape. I can tell the owners really put every thought into making sure that the family who comes there really feels home away from home even down to the children's books that were in the children's nightstand drawers that was very special. Not only will this be our new family tradition every year during winter but I also plan to come back to enjoy the cabin during the summer so thank you so very much from the Zacca family to yours and to you all at vacasa! Sheila Zacca and Family!

This condo was the perfect getaway for our family of 4 (you could definitely fit more!). It is clean and decorated for a cabin woodsy feel. We will definitely come here again.

Summer months can be hot (sure was when we came in July). It would be nice if the condo had a few fans to help guests be comfortable in the heat.

We had a great stay here. The condo was clean, furnished nicely, the beds were comfortable, the free shuttle to the ski hill was much appreciated, as was all the firewood and cozy fire at the end of the day.

We were able to book a last minute stay and it was great. Great location and condo was super clean. Unfortunate that washer/dryer was broken but staff did everything possible to fix it. Everyone was very helpful and very nice. Only complaint is the linens were very fragrant. Hotels don't use scented detergent and fabric softener. (personal preference in unscented)

We enjoyed our time in the condo very much and managed to actually cook Thanksgiving dinner over our trip (I think this speaks to how well equipped the kitchen was). Overall, the condo was clean and quiet, and we would definitely stay here again for future Northstar getaways.
