Modern, dog-friendly cabin w/ mountain views, hot tub, pool table, and more!
A cozy log cabin-style home for all seasons, this dog-friendly three-bedroom Blue Ridge Mountain vacation rental is perfect for families or a group of friends. Catch up on plenty of rest and relaxation with top-notch amenities, including a wood-burning fireplace, a pool table, and a hot tub.
Located in the bucolic rolling mountain countryside of north Georgia, this Sautee Nacoochee-area home is far from city congestion and close to tons of thrilling outdoor activities. Hike on lush woodland trails in the Chattahoochee National Forest, fly high above the canopy on a zipline with Nacoochee Adventures, or bomb down waterslides at Helen Tubing and Water Park.
Step into this home to feel enchanted in its pleasing interior. Vaulted wood ceilings and knotty pine walls frame spacious rooms with cozy furniture, floor-to-ceiling windows, and rustic decor. On leather couches in the living area, kick back and relax for an afternoon nap, or watch a DVD on the 42-inch flatscreen TV (one of four in the home) above a festive fireplace. When it’s chilly outside, quickly warm the room with a crackling fire, or head onto the screened-in deck to raise your body temperature in the soothing hot tub.
If you’ve come during warm weather, the deck is also a great place to spend time thanks to its relaxing rocking chairs, along with overhead fans that’ll circulate any humid air and provide a refreshing breeze.
Back inside, a full kitchen welcomes fresh, home-cooked meals made on its stainless steel appliances. There is also ample countertop space and varied cookware to get the job done quickly and easily. Eat together at the nearby six-seat dining table, or head onto the deck for al fresco dining. Perfect for summertime barbecues, there’s even a gas grill on the deck, and back inside you’ll find more dining space upstairs at a four-seat table.
After a satisfying meal, challenge your group to a fun pool tournament using the home’s table on the second floor, or break out some board games for a night of family fun. You might also like to take a nature hike around the area with your four-legged friend in tow; for a small nightly fee, up to three dogs can join in the fun.
When a full day of fun activities comes to an end, get the restful sleep you deserve in any of three bedrooms, which will accommodate up to 12 guests. King-size beds sit in all three rooms, and with the addition of two futons and two rollaway twin beds everyone will have a spot for sweet dreams. Turn on bedside lamps to wind down your day with a good book, or enjoy a nighttime movie on any of the flatscreen TVs in the bedrooms.
Rise with the morning sun over the mountains and get ready for a new day of adventures. Use the WiFi to plan your adventures and throw on a pair of freshly laundered clothes from the home’s washer/dryer.
If you’re in the mood for a day trip, you’ll find plenty of fun activities just a short drive away. Visit nearby Helen for a day of eclectic shopping at alpine boutiques in its Bavarian-themed village, or head to any the area’s local wineries to sample acclaimed vintages made from locally grown grapes. There’s also great golfing in the area, along with historic sites, museums, and even gold panning at the Gold Mines of Helen.

Loved the great setting in the mountains! Entire family enjoyed it!
it looks better in the photos, .... but the pass well there is a lot of tranquility, everything works and everything is fine, ... it just needs a little more care
We have purchased new end tables and a coffee table to help spruce up the home. We do feel it is well cared for and are sorry to see our guest did not feel the same.
Quiet and spacious . Only the screen on the pouch needs repair
The space was open, clean, and well stocked for our family's trip. I will gladly use vacasa rental again.
For the money, everything is so out dated... from the bed covers, to the living area.... please spend some money on the simple upgrades. I love the cabin..... just needs more attention.
We thank the guest for bringing these issues to our attention. The owners of this cabin are always willing to update things that need updating. Bed covers are changed out and laundered frequently and the owners do not allow for the bed covers to be outdated. We hope to house this guest in the future.
We often times request early check in as we travel via taxi & like to set our groceries down asap in between rentals, we arrived & the place was horrible. We felt so badly for the lady who was tasked to do that job alone, but...SHE LEFT IT AMAZING INSIDE. I give her 15 out of 10 on friendliness & attention to detail.
Overall a great cabin, nice view and good for a relaxing weekend away.
We plan to return next year as it was so spacious everyone was comfortable.
Drive a large V8 vehicle, the driveway is straight up! Pretty view from porch and living area. Convenient to Helen and Hiawassee. The house was clean and stocked with linens and paper products (although I would bring my own toilet paper). Dish soap and dish washer detergent were also provided. Mattresses need updating. Can't run the a/c below 75 degrees. Hot tub did not work, obviously they knew it did not work because a repair man showed up WITHOUT notice while we were gone and returned to find a stranger in the house with our personal belongings, who was a little rude. They did refund the hot tub money plus a per diem for none use. Toilets are small child size, not something a grown man would like to use. Would not stay at this particular property again.
very nice cabin! if you need anything, call the oregon office.
The house was a nice fit for me and my friends. The home is beautiful and cozy but the WiFi was horrible it would work here and there and no one had service in the house or outside the house. The floors looked a bit dusty like it needed to be buffed with some shine. The jacuzzi wouldn’t get hot it only got a little warm. The deck was very nice closed in with a Mountain View. There’s no street lights so if you do anything make sure you do it during the day time and the small road to the house is dirt and rocks so be careful and be ready to go up and down some hills....but all in all we had a great time!
We apologize for the spotty WiFi; it's the best that can be had in this area. We do not buff the floors as it makes them quite slick, but housekeeping did mop the floor several times after this stay to remove any residue from the floors. The hot tub appears to be working fine at this time. Thanks!
The cabin was very clean. The furniture could use some updating. The location lacked a little privacy from the neighbors next door. The hot tub was not functioning properly. The cabin could use an outdoor firepit. Overall it wasn’t bad, but we have stayed in better ones in the area.
The cabin was very spacious and nice but a little farther from downtown than we hoped. Most taxi services were charging about $8 a person though so it wasn't bad.
Make sure to check your ammenities and appliances when you arrive!

Fairly close to Parks and Helen. Quiet location. Nice view from porch.
Beautiful home overlooking the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub is nice. The location is great. It is comfortable in the 3 rooms but the foutons are only ok for kids. The rollaways are not usable.
There were a few things we were disappointed in during our stay, but overall, we still enjoyed it.
We had 8 people on our trip and the cabin had plenty of room for us all! Helen with all of its attractions is only 15 minutes away, so it was easy to find food and things to do. Helen has so many cute shops and fun restaurants, plus many hiking trails. Anna Ruby Falls was beautiful!
Close to Helen
It is best to use Apple maps when driving to the property as Google does not recognize Field Drive and will lead you astray. The house is nice and appropriately pictured. I would book this location again!
What is advertised is not what you get-this is company owned, not privately owned so it shows in the personal touches. With all their fees, processing fee, handling fee, and hot tub usage fee it added over $150 to our bill. Their cleaning fee is $160 but you need to load dishwasher and washing machine plus take your trash to the local management office five-miles away.
We were celebrating Christmas but the cabin is not decorated, you need to provide your own decorations.
If you have family dinner I suggest you bring paper products and serving containers. Unlike most cabins, there are no pantry items. They provide dishwashing powder, dish soap, a couple trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, a roll of paper towels and toilet paper.
It is a nice open floor plan, large bedrooms, and great location.
This home is run by a management company (Vacasa); we are sorry to see our policies and procedures did not work well with this guest's preferences.
The appliances and furnishings need to be a updated, some need replacing. The mountain view is okay. You see the top of a mountain, but mostly see trees from the living room view.
We checked in around 4:00, which I did not like doing so late, but the cabin and view were incredible! It was so spacious, and detailed beautifully! The Vacasa team was incredibly friendly and were accommodating to whatever we needed. We had a great time at the Faversham Winery. They were really friendly and the wine tasting is unmatched! We also enjoyed the delicious food at Cowboys and Angels, and the service was excellent. Bigg Daddys was fun, but be prepared for a long wait because this place is REALLY popular! We had a blast at the Hay Loft. It was a great place for drinks and dancing! The only downside is there were only two cab services in the town and neither were working this past weekend. That was rough for us since this was a bachelorette party, but we just altered our plans. Other than that Helen was tons of fun!
Needs trees pruned to see the majestic view!! Large rooms. Needs tlc but the area is spectacular
The size of this cabin was perfect for our family trip. Loved the hottub and spending time on porches.
Great place for a night away!
We had a great time at the home, but I think there are some things that future renters should know. It is titled "Majestic View" and is advertised as having a view of the mountains. I'm not sure when that was written, but there was no view of any mountain. The trees and underbrush were too high to see anything. The furniture was old and beat up and there wasn't enough kitchen utensils for my family.
Having said that, the house was very clean and spacious and we enjoyed our stay. Just had to be flexible.
