Escape the stresses of everyday life at this rustic, serene Big Bear vacation home for six. Not only will you enjoy great home essentials, but the expansive, two level deck offers a fun place to play and relax, as well as some breathtaking views of the mountain.

Set in a quiet residential neighborhood close to Bear Mountain Golf Course, this chalet brings all the fun of Big Bear right to you. Ski resorts are only a few miles away, and the cool lake is about three miles away.

Exuding the rustic cabin feel everyone yearns for during a mountain escape, you'll feel right at home here. Comfortable furnishings complete the open floorplan downstairs, which is decorated with fun antlers and wood accents all around.

Spend a nice evening in relaxing on the leather sofa in the living room. Light the stone-framed wood-burning fireplace on a cool evening and listen to the fire crackle while playing games, chatting with loved ones, or even watching a movie on the nearby flatscreen TV. WiFi is also provided, making checking email, looking up directions, and posting status updates a breeze.

Home-cooked meals are right at your fingertips with the full kitchen available. On top of having major appliances (including an in-wall oven and gas stove top), a dishwasher, microwave, and coffeemaker are also available! Sit inside around the long dining table for six, or take advantage of the stunning back deck and dine al fresco.

All six guests will sleep wonderfully among the three bedrooms. The first downstairs room has a queen-size bed, and the other has a full bed and twin-over-full bunk bed. The upstairs master bedroom boasts a California king-size bed and enticing forest views. One bathroom with a tub/shower combo is located downstairs, and the second is attached to the master bedroom upstairs.

Whether you're staying for a couple days or a few weeks, you'll always have a clean outfit for tomorrow's activities with the washer and dryer handy.

Big Bear is a fantastic destination spot any time of year. Snow birds flock here in the winter to enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Resorts. Some other winter activities include cross-country skiing and snow tubing at Magic Mountain.

Summertime is a grand time to visit as well with the sparkling lake just a few miles down the road. Rent a boat at the marina for fishing, wakeboarding, or simply relaxing on the cool water. Try jet skiing or be adventurous and take on parasailing. Hiking trails cover the mountain and make for a lovely afternoon in nature. Follow it up with the alpine slide, water slide, and go karts at Magic Mountain.

No matter what activities your trip includes, there's no doubt everyone will love a trip staying at this cozy and welcoming Southern California vacation rental. Book today and start looking forward to your Big Bear vacation!

My friends and I had such a great time during our stay. The Bear Lift was spacious, clean, and had all the essentials. We definitely plan to return.

We really loved The Big Lift Cabin. It was very clean, comfy and looks like those old fashion cabins geom the movies. The only problem was connecting to the wifi to watch movies overnight. The passwird was incorrect so no Wi-Fi but it didn't matter as we went to have fun outside the cabin. I will book this cabin again !thank youuuu

Definitely the best thing about this house is the deck area. We went in the summer, and sat outside every night. You can hear and smell the pines. Very rustic setting, comfortable leather furniture.

The loft is stuffy, but we kept the fan running and it was fine for sleeping once the sun went down.

Downstairs: most areas were great except bathroom shower area was a little dark. We loved the kitchen, dinning area, and the high ceiling living room. We used the BBQ grill, outdoor eating area was great too. It would be nice to have some light in the lower patio.
Upstairs: we couldn't use the nice suite because it was way to hot and stuffy.
Overall, cozy cabin for a small family of 4.
We loved it.

Very comfortable place that's high enough to see over houses across the street to views of the ski runs. Feels very private

I didn't know what to expect. Whenever I go out of town for pleasure I look first to see if I can rent a house as opposed to a hotel. I have stayed in many houses but none like this one. An upgraded 'cabin in the woods', which for me is the best place to get away. It had everything I wanted and so much more. The beautiful woodwork throughout is just beautiful and welcoming. I don't rent a place if there isn't a working fireplace and this home has a nice one. The bedrooms were big and so much light. It really is an experience all it's own. But..most all the pictures that were advertised for this home were not this house. The kitchen and entryway is not travertine tile (thankfully), but some people may be mad about that.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It had the look of a real mountain cabin.

The cabin was very cozy and perfect for a weekend at the snow! Will definitely be coming back next year :)!

The cabin was very nice -- open floor plan from living room to kitchen. Big bar area with high stools so lots of places to sit and spread out.
Only drawback was the mattresses in the guest rooms. The master room was GREAT!

Everything was pleasant. One flaw was no regular TV in which we were looking forward in watching the Super Bowl. Sad.

This cabin has a vintage vibe with all the modern conveniences. It's a great place to stay and close to Bear Mountain lifts.
