We really enjoy staying at this house. We stay there often. We call it our farm house. Kids love to roam around the yard there are orchard trees and cows. We enjoy gathering with family and bowing out there

It's a nice home. Beautiful drive to get there. Stayed 2 years ago and I'm sure we will again

This was a great launching pad near several areas we wanted to explore -- so we would leave in the morning for an activity, and arrive back in time to cook dinner for us an a few other family members in the area. Then sleep, get up, and do it again. We especially loved the avialability of the large BBQ grill!

Great spacious home. Suggest you have some coffee for at least one night in case one checks in late as we did. House was super even though it rained the entire time. Can't believe this home doesn't have gutters. Such a nice exterior. Interior was outdated but clean and what we expected. Laundry was nice. Plenty of room for the family and we will always come back. Thank you.

Cows and baby rabbits running all over the place. Great place!

I loved the view of the hills from the back yard. A small family of wild bunnies occupied the yard, and the cows grazed quietly on the other side of the fence. Coming from the city, the experience was novel and serene at the same time. We enjoyed living a different life style for a few days. I loved the roomy house with a large, fully equipped kitchen, (yes, it has a dishwasher) the gas fireplace, and comfortable beds. The house is ideal for a family gathering or reunion as well as a charming private getaway for two. The two bedrooms have plenty of storage space; each with it's own private bathroom and shower. The new outdoor grill is easy to use and has four burners and a side plate for larger meals. We were able to relax and enjoy the quiet of living in the country for four days. I hope to come back again.

I loved it! Reminded me of my dads house when I was a kid.
PROs: Cows you can feed apples to and pet, private, clean, comfortable beds, roomy, no noise, rabbits running around and dog friendly!

CONs: Not enough pots and pans or cheese grater, cow poop all over backyard (if you dont like that), alot of flys and spiders in house, cigarette butts on patio from previous renters, vacuum did not work, trash from previous renters was sitting on front porch upon article
(didnt get a trash can until 2nd day). There was alot of construstion type stuff going on around house like boards laying around, etc.. overall I loved the place, the cons didnt bug me only my husband!
Manager response:
We appreciate the guests feedback. The Local Manager has since spoken to the guest about the issues they faced during their stay. Local staff is also speaking to housekeeping about the trash and cigarette butts as we want all guests to feel like they are in a clean and comfortable environment.

The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood with cows and horses and very large rabbits. I had not realized it was so far from the city of Brookings but my kids did enjoy it and their dog was welcome .

Very quiet peaceful home .deer running
thru the yard. Very clean slept well

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the cedar house. There was plenty of room, it was very comfortable and had every amenity we needed. The cows and deer were great, so was falling asleep to the frog croaking outside the bedroom window. Definitely beat staying in a hotel, it was even more affordable. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Very pretty surroundings! Quit and peaceful . A lot of deer! Very large roomy house but no curtains in kitchen or living room! Pull out couch was broken! Beds were comfy and house was pretty clean except for a lot of cobwebs! Spacious kitchen and dining room! I would go there again! Ten minute drive to town and ocean!
