This gorgeous, sunny three-bedroom vacation home boasts one of Eagle Crest's most amazing locations. Situated behind the locked gates on Osprey Drive and right alongside the lush greens of the golf course, the contemporary home offers unmatched views from Mt. Jefferson to the Ochoco Mountain Range. Settle into the hot tub or gather for a barbecue on the spacious deck and soak up the unbelievable views and fresh mountain air!

The interior of the home is nearly as impressive as its natural surroundings. The great room has soaring ceilings, warm colors, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace set into a handsome stone hearth. The plush sofas and armchairs are perfectly arranged to linger over a bottle of wine by the fire or enjoy a movie night on the cable TV with DVD player.

The bright open kitchen is ideal for entertaining, with a center island for extra prep space and granite countertops overlooking the dining and living area so everyone can socialize even while preparing meals. The kitchen is fully equipped and its features include a Jenn-Air stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, coffee maker and grinder, blender and even a waffle iron and crock-pot! The cabinets and drawers are full of quality silverware and Henkel knives, baking dishes, pots and pans, and everything you'd need to cook a gourmet meal.

The door to the deck offers convenient access to the deck, with its gas grill, patio furniture, and built-in benches to take the gathering outside in warmer weather. Off the kitchen is the large laundry room area with full size washer and dryer, and the laundry room leads to the double car garage, ideal for storing your golf clubs and other outdoor gear.

Perfect for two families traveling together, the home boasts two master suites, a third bedroom, and three full baths. The main floor's suite has a queen bed, TV with DVD player, and an en-suite bath with shower. A second downstairs bedroom has two twin beds, a TV of its own, and an adjoining bath with tub/shower combination.

Upstairs, the second master bedroom has a king bed, huge walk-in closet, and an en-suite bath of its own with a tub/shower combo. With east-facing windows, this space is perfect for guests who enjoy watching the sunrise each morning.

Just outside the master bedroom, a loft has a game table next to a fantastic selection of classic board games for guests of all ages. This is the perfect spot for younger guests to relax while the adults chat downstairs, or for a working vacationer to use as a small office space (wireless Internet is provided). Between the two floors, a cushioned window seat with south-facing windows is a bookworm's dream. With the living room's sofa doubling as a sleeper sofa for two more guests, the home sleeps up to eight people very comfortably.

Enjoy access to the Eagle Crest Resort pool, hot tubs, saunas, and much more. When you stay here you will also have six passes (additional passes can be purchased) for the resort's other recreation centers. Additionally, you will find 11 miles of trails, playgrounds, golf courses, a spa, and much more, so everyone will find something to love here!

Whether you're curled up by the fireplace in the winter, barbecuing on the deck, or soaking in the hot tub after a long day's hike or cycling trip, this home has everything you could need to relax and recharge in beautiful Central Oregon.

We attend an annual golf event at Eaglecrest Golf Resort and we have stayed at this rental 3 times. We have enjoyed it every time. The house is clean, well supplies, directions are easy to follow and location is perfect. The Nest heat/AC system is a bit difficult to figure out but we do so. We highly recommend this place and VACASA.

The description for this house is very misleading, if not an outright lie. We rented it because of its proximity to a neighborhood pool and tennis courts. The description mentions those amenities as do many of the prior reviewers. Even the access instructions provided by VRBO/VACASA talk about a pool and tennis court key in the house to access those facilities. Upon checkin, and looking for the key, we were told by a VACASA agent that the homeowners association recently changed their policy and now only allows owners to use the facilities. We contacted VRBO/VACASA and they said they "forgot" to update the information. This messed up our entire weekend, as we had planned to hit the pool and tennis courts daily. My wife's parents were visiting from New York and are big into tennis. They had planned to play there every morning.

In addition to that, there were a lot of other issues with the house:

- My wife fell through a dining table chair at dinner the first night. She leaned back and it collapsed. Luckily she is in good shape. If it had been one of the grandparents that were attending, they might have broken a hip.
- There were no clean sponges for dishes.
- The upstairs toilet didn't flush or barely flushed.
- Several of the windows that should have opened were broken.
- The master bathroom bathmat was dirty and had not been cleaned.
- There were mouse droppings in cabinets.
- The coffee table wobbles a couple inches and it close to collapse.
- All the bedroom pillows were paper thin.
- Upon first use of the BBQ, the propane ran out after about 1 minute. Thankfully, there was a spare tank in the garage.
- The BBQ grill brush was completely worthless. Looked like it was last replaced in the 90's.

Overall, the house is nice, it just needs some updating and better care. However, I would not rent it again after this experience.

We feel ripped off by VACASA/VRBO. BEWARE!
Manager Response:
We sincerely apologize that this visit did not meet this guest's expectations. We appreciate receiving this feedback and would like to respond to the list included in the review. The broken chair has been removed from the home, we will remind housekeeping to leave sponges for guest use, the windows have been fixed, the rugs have been washed, mouse traps have been set, the coffee table will be repaired, and a new BBQ brush will be purchased. We have advised the owner of the toilet and pillows. Thank you!

We rented this house because we saw from the map that it was 2 doors down from the pool. Many of the reviews said the best thing about this house is that it's within walking distance to the pool. Our check-in confirmation mail also said this house comes with access to that neighborhood pool. Upon checking in, we could not find the card key needed to access the pool. After several calls to customer service, we were finally informed that the HOA had a change of rules a couple of weeks prior to our arrival and that guests are no longer allowed to use that neighborhood pool, only homeowners are now allowed. Had Vacasa informed us timely we would've switched to a different house. The 2 resort pools were tiny and super crowded, and far from the house so you have to drive to them, i.e. they were as good as useless to us. Vacasa refused to compensate us for their gaffe despite the fact that it greatly marred our vacation. Apparently customer satisfaction is nowhere near as important to them as making a few extra bucks.

As far as the house itself, it is spacious and has a nice big deck that's on the golf course, but it is an older home (built in the 90s?) that is not particularly well maintained. The minute we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a very strong cat litter odor. The first night the odor was so strong it kept us up. The next day we tried to open some windows to get some fresh air and found out half the windows were broken and couldn't even open. We also noticed cobwebs on the picture frames upstairs and a lot of dust on the blinds, the downstairs bathroom floor was also not very clean when we checked in. The King bed upstairs has a mattress so soft it gave my husband serious back pain the next day. The kitchen is well stocked with the usual requisite useless pots and pans, i.e. non-stick pans so scratched up they are no longer non-stick, seems de rigueur for rental homes these days.

I would not rent this house again, especially now that it no longer has access to that neighborhood pool, and I definitely would not rent anything from Vacasa ever again.

A beautifully designed home in a superb location inside a gated area. The interior is open and very pleasant but the fixtures and furnishings are beginning to show their age. There are no ceiling fans in this open design so the temperatures can vary greatly between the master suite on the second level and the comfort level on the main floor. We closed all grates upstairs and placed a rolled up throw rug in front of the upper bath vent in order to get the temperature down to a comfortable level upstairs.

We enjoyed our stay so much in 2015, that we returned again in 2016. Love the location (fabulous on Resort Course), the hot tub and the house. Great that they have a local contact in case of any concerns. Still haven't quite figured out the "Nest" thermostat control, but the cooler September temperatures mitigated any problems.

This home was a great place to reconnect with old friends . I would highly recommend it!

This was a beautiful home. We rented it out for a non profit board retreat. The living room was perfect for our group to meet and do a years worth of planning. We than could take breaks out on the deck and enjoy the golfers and the scenery. We got a lot of work done and had fun at the same time.

We have stayed at this property for many years and are very comfortable there.

I came to just rest and relax and the home was perfect for that! Loved the deck and the hot tub. My husband came to golf and he got lots of golf time. We really enjoyed staying at the house, it had everything we needed!
Patricia D. Sep 2014
A guest book with comments would be a nice addition to the house plus a map of the area included in the info notebook.
Furnace operation was confusing so clearer directions would be helpful.
Ceiling fans would certainly help.
New hot tub was great and loved sitting out on the patio. Definitely a house we would rent again.
Manager Response:
Thank you for sharing your review and feedback with us. We're so pleased to see that you enjoyed your stay in this beautiful home. We value the feedback you've provided and will follow up with the caretaker to look at simplifying the directions for the furnace and to ensure there is a guest book.
Kerr-hsin L. Sep 2014
The house is indeed spacious. Loved the living, dining and kitchen area. The rooms were not as big as we expected, but that wasn't a problem to us. We also enjoyed the golf course view. Unlike other places we stayed at, the kitchen was stocked with all kinds of spices and teas, not to mention the basic salt and pepper. They also had all sorts of boardgames.
Eric F. Aug 2014
This place is super nice, very nicely set up, very good location, probably the nicest rental property we've ever stayed in. The air conditioning was a welcome treat on top of that. they had the kitchen stocked with useful stuff for a visiting family. The only downside was the price, this place was the spendiest I've ever rented per night for a 3 br.
Susan S. Jul 2014
Great place, great location. Neighborhood is gated and safe. Didn't get to ride the bicycles, but wish we had time. So nice that they're there. Very well stocked. Larger than expected. Outdoor deck is so nice. Large upstairs master closet was almost like another bedroom! We would stay here again and again.
