Located on Briar Creek Road, across a covered bridge and along a winding river road, this secluded cabin will give you plenty of room to breathe and relax. The cities of Blue Ridge and Ellijay are just minutes away and abound with interesting shops, quality restaurants, and seasonal art shows, festivals, and theater. With the southern foot of the Appalachians as your backyard, you can try some of the country’s best hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, zip-lining, white water rafting, tubing, kayaking, and other fun water activities. You could even try sky-diving, hang-gliding, rock climbing, spelunking, and many other high adventure sports. If you'd prefer a quieter excursion, pick apples or peaches at an orchard, visit historical sites, play some golf or relax at the spa.
When you enter this cabin, you'll notice its lovely woodwork and vaulted ceilings. The living room boasts a wood-burning fireplace, above which is a mounted flatscreen Smart TV with Netflix streaming and Pandora. You'll also find a selection of games and DVDs, along with free WiFi.
You'll have no problem preparing meals in the open kitchen, which includes coffee makers, rice maker, crockpot, blender, and much more. While you can enjoy dinner at a small dining table nearby, you can also venture outside to the front porch, where there is plenty of space for everyone.
Rock in a chair for a while on the covered deck taking in the beautiful woods and wildflowers, watch the deer graze at dusk as the sun sets over the mountain view, or relax by the stone wood fireplace curled up in the rocking recliner with a glass of local wine or a cup of tea and a good book. Or you could take advantage of the firepit by the creek and sit down in one of the comfortable wooden chairs and take in the scenery. You could spend your whole vacation snuggled up in this cozy cabin!
With two bedrooms and one bathroom, this cabin can accommodate up to six guests. The first bedroom is outfitted in black bear accessories and includes a queen-size bed. The second bedroom, boasting a rainbow trout theme, also provides a queen-size bed. A double futon in the living room offers additional sleeping space, and a private washer/dryer lets you take care of laundry.
With this cabin's central location, you'll have tons of nature right at your fingertips! Take a hike to the creek or grab your camera for some shots of the mountains or tree-lined landscape.
If you're visiting the area during the fall, try to catch the Georgia Apple Festival, a large celebration with crafts, live music, and - you guessed it - apples. Ellijay is also renowned for its stunning fall foliage. Summer is a great time to visit too and begs you to get out and explore Georgia's scenery.

The cabin was beautiful and quiet . We really had a awesome time the only thing we did not find the fire pit until we was leaving so we didn’t have a fire and was looking forward to that .I will recommend this cabin to my friends. Thank you !!

It was a beautiful cabin and the location was excellent. We really enjoyed the pleasant and quiet atmosphere and will return again.
Amed M.Jan 2021
I loved that the cabin has all the essentials for the stay and not the extras like pool table hot tub, etc. Is exactly what you would expect from a cabin in the woods, loved it

We just got back from our stay in Tree Song cabin and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the moment you turn into the mountains to get to the cabin, it feels magical. The gravel road winds though the woods up and down the mountain past the creek and other adorable cabins.
The cabin itself was everything we hoped for. It had a beautiful view from the porch where we had coffee in the rockers and each morning and local wine each night from which we spotted many deer. One night a large group of them slept not 20 feet from the porch. It’s a short little walk to the creek where there are comfortable bench seats and a fire pit. We had a little picnic and skipped rocks in the creek with our little ones while building a fire. It was perfect.
The cabin itself was immaculate and adorable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook (pots/strainers/etc). It’s well maintained and you can tell the owner takes pride in it. The living room had a beautiful fireplace and comfortable seating. The bathroom and two bedrooms kept the cabin feel and were perfect for our family of four with comfortable beds, plenty of blankets and towels, etc . It was nice having a washer and dryer on site - as our children are dirty boys.
There were a lot of “small” conveniences that made big differences. The blinds go up and down so simply so we could take in the views during the day and have privacy at night, Netflix logged in automatically, the grill propane was full, the parking was right outside, the water got hot quickly.. the list goes on.
We explored both Ellijay and Blue Ridge as both were a short drive. We brought our boys to Hucks Lost Mine which was perfect for both (ages 1.5 and 8). Our favorite spot was the Ellijay River Vineyards which was super close and had a little bonfire and swings on the River. It was beautiful.
This trip was intended to allow our family to get away from our busy work life and retreat to the mountains to relax and make memories, and this cabin allowed us to do just that! We absolutely recommend!

Very clean with everything we needed and close to town and lots of hiking the cabin is in a beautiful wooded quiet area

we had a nice time at the cabin, close to vinyards and Ellijay
Sara G.Aug 2020
Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The cabins kitchen was fully stocked with all of the utensils, cookware, and serving items you could possibly need which was very helpful and having a washer/dryer in unit was also awesome, especially since it rained quite a bit and we got pretty filthy. However (and it was mentioned in a previous review) that the road to get to the cabin was VERY difficult to navigate without 4 wheel drive. We made it but it was kind of scary trying to get up a couple of the hills to the cabin. The signage leading to the cabin was also not abundantly clear so it took some time to find it.

Nice private getaway from a stressful job. Cabin was comfortable and in a great location for us
Stephanie H.Jul 2020
The quietness of our visit was awesome! The quality of cabin was okay. The livingroom was nice and kitchen. Except the dripping faucet. The view was nice except no creekside, no fire pit, no chairs around the ground just on balcony. The rocking chairs were the only chairs comfortable to sit on. The owner has 6 cameras around the house that she can peek on you if you are around on the property. Little weird... The front screen door handle came off the 3rd time we opened the door. The iron did not work, laterns did not work except 1. The worst was finding a used trojan in the trash can when we got there. The chairs, firepit and creek was a half mile down the road. The ac is controlled by the owner by wifi.
We are sorry to read you were not more satisfied with your experience. The owner does have blink cameras in plain sight outside of the cabin for security purposes. We will be sure these are noted in the home's listing. The owner also has control of the thermostat in case temperatures are set to something unreasonable for the season. The creek and fire pit are a short walk from the cabin and marked so guests can find them. Thank you!

Quite, peasant and peaceful.

Everything was great with the cabin. the roads are rough getting there my minivan barely made it. we only had one issue but it was resolved really quickly. Beautiful inside out. very comfortable and very clean. felt like we where at home. Our dogs also had a blast. We differently would stay again.

It was a perfect little getaway for our family! Clean and adorably decorated, the cabin was great (futon was uncomfortable to sleep on though!). We absolutely adored the creek and firepit area just down the hill; we played down there everyday. We made some wonderful memories at this place!

Fully equipped, nicely appointed and just outside a great town. What’s not to like?
Mike L.Jan 2020
Very nice cabin, nicely decorated and had everything you need. The staff at Vacasa was great specially Jennifer and Lyndsay

Dogs loved it! We loved it! Exactly what was pictured!
Toni H.Nov 2019
Everything was great, very peaceful, clean and such a great place to get away to!
Fredia H.Nov 2019
We loved this quaint little cabin. The atmosphere was beautiful. Deer came straight up to the cabin. It was quite and peaceful. The only thing I could say is the road up is a little rough and narrow. Also when given directions they need to include to go past the private drive sign. It kind of got us turned around and lost. Had a hard time at night finding cabin cause of it.
Ruthann V.Nov 2019
Lots of dear and nice cabon
James M.Sep 2019
Loved that it was far enough off the main highway, we didn’t have to deal with all the noises we were trying to get away from. Road getting there is a little rough but cabin is well furnished & location is super quiet. Great place to just getaway and relax.
Jennifer B.Sep 2019
Great little cabin! It is tiny, so make sure you really like the people you share it with! There is a coffee maker and a keurig machine there. Bring your own coffee and/ or pods! Would have been nice if there was a fire pit. Neighbors and other cabins are nearby. So, it’s not completely secluded. But the entire area is nice and Ellijay has become a great little town!
Rachel M.Sep 2019
We only stayed for a night but loved the cabin and surrounding area. The kids enjoyed the creek nearby and the fire pit for s’mores in the evening. We will be back.
Agata Z.Aug 2019
This cabin is charming, exactly as shown on the web, located in the middle of the woods, with a creek and river nearby and the deer coming daily to the front porch. It is a lovely place for anyone who wants to reconnect with nature.
We stayed with our two dogs and explored numerous trails in the Ellijay, Amicalola and Blue Ridge area.
Skaria M.Aug 2019
We loved everything in this little house. It was spacious, relaxing, and peaceful for a family. The nature was the best.
Bonnie M.Jul 2019
So many decorative items to look at. Very cute. Clean, and comfortable. Hard to find back in the woods, on dusty gravel mountain roads.
Natasha P.Jun 2019
We loved everything about this cabin. It was just as expected from the description and pictures. Very clean and welcoming!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!
Eric A.May 2019
Loved the cabin was just hoping it would be closer to the creek.
Susan W.Apr 2019
The cabin was very cozy and clean. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
Tom M.Nov 2018
Loved the decor of the entire cabin and the serenity of the back porch.
Robert M.Sep 2018
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very nice and clean and had all we needed.
WILLIAM M.Aug 2018
The road to the cabin is very primitive! Beware if you have a small vehicle. The road is not county maintained and, with recent rains, was in terrible condition. There are no mountains visible...only a valley with trees and many of them had fallen down. There is a creek close by, but it is not visible either. The roads are not suitable for going for a walk at all. It was not the tranquil setting we had hoped it would be. There is no dishwasher and the previous occupants had not washed the dishes well at all. We had to rewash everything we wanted to use.
Elizabeth L.Jul 2018
We enjoyed our family weekend getaway. Very clean cabin, close enough to town, yet far away from it all. Very relaxing and comfortable.
Gregg W.Jan 2018
If you want a secluded getaway & privacy in a smaller cabin, this is ideal. i highly recommend a 4WD vehicle as the one lane road can be treacherous (particularly if is raining or snowing) with steep drop offs. We stayed for 3 nites/four days & paid a token fee for "late check out" (7pm). Bring your food/condiments & seasonings if you're going to cook. Cookware/pots & pans are provided. For us, it was not a hiking area. I imagine the view is spectacular in the fall when the leaves change colors. The price was "right" for our needs.

The whole experience was great , we enjoyed our stay . It was well furnished we have no complaints
Melody B.Dec 2017
Real review.. the cabin is clean and cozy. I would not bring more than 4 people max as it is small.
The cabin is decorated very nicely. Lots of decor, but it gives it a personality.
Getting there is tricky. The road is very narrow and winding. Definitely not a two vehicle road. We had to back down the mountain more than once to allow someone else to come down. We found ourselves trying to get back before dark so we could manage easier.
Amenities are good. Cable, WiFi, washer and dryer. No cell phone signal though, so be prepared.
Kitchen has basics, although pots and pans, baking sheets are very old and need replacing.
There is NO dishwasher. The dining room table is a good size, the chairs are very uncomfortable so if you are planning on playing board games, they better be quick ones.
Both rooms have full size beds in them . I think my hubs and I would have enjoyed a king size bed, but I don’t think there’s enough room for one.
The property is beautiful.. the deer are everywhere and it is very peaceful. We enjoyed building fires (bring your wood!) and spending quality time with our family.
Karen M.Dec 2017
We enjoyed our down time walking along the creek and watching deer through the kitchen window.
Cameron B.Nov 2017
My wife and I had a great time staying in this cabin. The cabin was a perfect place for us to spend a short week in the mountains. Waking up with a cup of coffee on the front porch was the perfect way to start every morning and watching a movie next to the wood burning fire place was great. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. We would stay here again.
Chris K.Nov 2017
Location was perfect for our planned trips. Close to Blue Ridge Main Street, Amicalola Falls, Downtown Ellijay, vineyards, and not far from Harrahs Casino in Murphy NC. Great cabin to snuggle up in and hang out.
Diane J.Oct 2017
We would recommend this cabin to other guests. It is quite far up the mountain and the road can be like a wash board in some places. An all wheel drive vehicle makes it easier to drive slowly and still get up the mountain. We were on that same mountain in August so we knew what to watch for.
The cabin was perfect for the two of us and our two Havanese dogs. They loved running on the wrap around deck. The cabin was just like the picture and was well stocked and clean. We will certainly come back.
Robert L.Oct 2017
My wife and I stayed in this cabin celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary. We had our pug, Buddy, with us so we appreciated it being pet-friendly. We have rented an other cabin in the same development several years ago and appreciated that this one wasn't pitched on the side of a mountain, "Snuffy Smith" style. It was easy getting in and out of the development which does require some mountain driving skills on gravel roads but our 2 wheel drive SUV handled it with no problems and everyone drives at safe slow speeds. Everything in the cabin was in great shape and Internet and cable tv both worked very well. We would recommend this cabin for a couple or small family with or without pets.
Victor Alejandro P.Sep 2017
We spent a family weekend in this peaceful cabin; it was a very good experience that we would love to repeat in the near future. Highly recomended!!
Marilyn C.Sep 2017
The cabin was exactly as pictured and very clean. The cabin was only about 15 minutes from downtown Ellijay and not far from local wineries, apple orchards, and the town of Blue Ridge. My only recommendation would be to make renters aware of it being far back on a gravel road with many hills and turns. This was great for a peaceful stay, surrounded by trees, but We drove a car that was too low to the ground and we had trouble getting in the first day after it had rained all week. Once I was familiar with the drive it was ok, just would have drove something else to make it easier if we had known. I would stay here again and we had a great weekend.
Marsha .Aug 2017
The cabin is very secluded and comfortable. The only problem I had was the drive to the cabin. Once off the main gravel road the driveway became very narrow with lots of potholes. Very bumpy but I guess that's to be expected...it is the mountains.
Jessica B.Aug 2017
Amazing stay with nice shopping close by. I think children will be bored easy but would be a nice romantic getaway
Seila P.Aug 2017
Good location (right in between Elijay and Blueridge. Area was pretty secluded. Our dog enjoyed the cabin.
Tracy E.Aug 2017
This is a very relaxing place to visit. We enjoyed river tubing and swimming at the lake. The temperature was great as we live a very hot and humid area.
Diana J.Jul 2017
Very comfy cozy. Furniture and bed was very comfortable. Furnishings and decorating is awesome! Cabin was spotless and well stocked in the kitchen with pots and pans, utensils and dishes. There were also plenty of towels.
We were a little disappointed that the creek wasn't visible from the cabin but we would definitely recommend and would stay here again!
Location is halfway between Elijah and Blue Ridge. Perfect!
Mari G.Jul 2017
Apparently Vacasa has on their listing that there is no AC but there is. Cabin was extremely clean and well stocked
Robert M.Jun 2017
Great spot had deer walking by the cabin in the morning. Quiet
Lee G.Jun 2017
Great cabin, unbelievably clean . The area was gorgeous and there was so much to do. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for the goody bag!
Troy E.May 2017
It was a very quiet area. Enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck listening to the creek run!! It was a tiny house cabin but perfect for the three of us!! I would definitely go back!!
Rebecca D.Apr 2017
Cabin was very nice and nicely furnished. We enjoyed our stay here. It is very peaceful and located in a beautiful country setting.
David R.Apr 2017
We made the reservations the week we went to the cabin. The email instructions were good and had all the information on directions, getting into the cabin and wifi instructions. We enjoyed our time there. It was very private.
Carol S.Feb 2017
We enjoyed our visit to the cabin. The surrounding woods are beautiful.
Chad F.Jan 2017
The cabin was great. We saw deer.
The balcony view in the winter was really nice. Lots of trees but I could also make out a creek and small field from our spot.
All appliances were in fantasist shape and easy to use.
Didn't experience very much neighbor noise. We had to take furniture out of the main areas for just two people to be able to move around comfortably. A bit over-decorated with plastics bears (around 50 in one 12x12 room, not counting the sheets) and fish.
Jennifer G.Dec 2016
My family wanted to get away last minute We booked this cabin online at 5:30 on a Friday night. We were emailed all of our necessary information immediately and we hit the road! The cabin was quaint and cozy. It was perfect for our little family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Janet S.Nov 2016
The cabin was perfect for my daughter and me. We watched deer from our deck every evening and the night sky was amazing.
