If you're looking for a dream lakeside getaway, it doesn't get much better than this three-story chalet with large double dock, two decks with spectacular lake views, and a lower-level entertainment room.

Located on the western shore of Flathead Lake, this home is just 18 miles south of the city of Kalispell with its many restaurants, galleries, and local shops, and 20 miles away from Bigfork. Whether you bring your own boat to this home or you rent one from several local marinas, Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48 states. Enjoy a variety of watersports, fish for trout and whitefish, hike the trails, or relax lakeside with a picnic lunch.

With gorgeous knotty wood floors, walls, and ceilings, this warm and very inviting home combines a rustic Montana aesthetic with all the modern conveniences of home.

Relax in the main living area with its high ceilings, unique, handcrafted furniture, native stone fireplace, and large windows offering incredible views across the deck outside. Alongside this space, there's a dining room with a table and six chairs where you can gather for family game nights or to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals prepared in the adjacent, full kitchen.

The centrally located kitchen is fully equipped with a variety of essential cookware, utensils, and appliances including a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, coffeemaker, and the all-important dishwasher to help you keep this area spic 'n span during your stay. And thanks to the gas grill out on the deck, you can spice up your menus with a few fantastic barbecued treats!

Upstairs, the spacious master bedroom has a king-size bed, walk-in closet, spectacular views of the Mission and Swan Mountain ranges, and an en suite full bath. The second bedroom with a queen bed is found on the main floor and the third bedroom is downstairs with sliding door access to the lower deck and two twin beds. With three bedrooms, two baths, and a futon in the entertainment room, this home easily sleeps up to six guests.

For home entertainment options, WiFi is provided to let you post updates to social media or catch up on a little work if needed. There are two TVs in the home including a 65-inch flatscreen in the entertainment room, so you can keep up with your favorite shows, watch the local news, or program your own movie night with the help of the DVD player. And feel free to leave those bulky suitcases home thanks to the private washer/dryer on the main level.

Enjoy the views from the two well-appointed balconies or take a stroll down to the large dock with boat lift, perfect for your own boats or just relaxing lakeside with your fishing poles.

No visit to this region would be complete without a day trip to the one-million forested acres of Glacier National Park, only 50 miles away. Or take a boat ride over to Wild Horse Island off the western shore of Flathead Lake where you can hike the many trails and catch glimpses of bighorn sheep, mule deer, waterfowl, bald eagles, and even the occasional wild horses themselves, but don't forget your camera!

Head into the Montana wilderness and book this exquisite lakeside chalet today and surprise your family or friends with the promise of a memorable vacation.

Loved our stay. Comfortable and great view!

Beautiful cabin at a great price. Sunsets and moonrise were amazing. The addition of "midlife crisis" (a board game from 1982) added to the appeal of the cabin. This was far from being perfect in it's amenities but absolutely perfect in it's feel, views and comfort. Would stay again and again.

Awesome views and great sheltered cove for swimming at the dock. Quiet neighborhood and comfortable home to hang out at and relax.

Great house. I called VACASA during the stay because the grill ran out of propane. Their response was, "Can I drop off a propane tank in 30 minutes?" Received excellent customer service - above my expectations. Thanks.

We loved the location and amenities of the cabin, but were surprised to find many things that need to be fixed.
Manager response:
We apologize for the broken items this guest encountered. The deck nails have been hammered back in. The owner is currently looking at bids for a complete deck repair and will hopefully have it scheduled soon. The broken dining chairs have been pulled and replaced with dining benches. We did find one broken solar light that we have removed. Thanks!

We had a great vacation at North Bay Cabin. Trust me, the house is absolutely as beautiful in real life as it was in the photos. It's very well appointed, the furniture is nice (not cheep!), and the kitchen was big enough to cook in. I loved this house. The only small, minor complaint I had was that the house is advertised to have central A/C. Due to a medical condition I have, it's extremely important to me to have a cool environment. However, please note that the house DOES NOT have central A/C. It has zone A/C in the loft only. This left the people sleeping in the loft freezing at night and the rest of the house uncomfortably warm during the day. As long as that's not a big deal for you, I would HIGHLY recommend this home. The dock and the decks and the view are stunning. Everything was very clean when we got there. The grill worked great and had gas in the tank. The hammock was very comfy and had beautiful light streaming through the trees onto it. The beds are a bit on the hard side, but that's better than them being too soft! There were tons of pillows of different softness for everyone to get one they like. There were extra blankets and towels. The shower had great water pressure. The folding chairs on the deck were surprisingly nice and comfy. I can't say enough good things about this beautiful house.
