Waterfront on Netarts Bay. Beautiful views, dog-friendly, near attractions!

Surround yourself in the rugged beauty of the Northern Oregon Coast at this dog-friendly Netarts rental, an adorable two-bedroom, one-bathroom home at the mouth of Netarts Bay. Wake up every morning to incredible ocean views, relax in the home's inspired interior, and find the perfect accommodations for up to four guests and one dog.

You won't find a better location for coast and town activities! Pull up tasty gaper and butter clams in the bay, or explore quaint Netarts' shopping and dining, including The Schooner Restaurant and Lounge (we recommend the locally sourced "Oysters on the Half-Shell" entree - it's delicious!). Beach access is just steps down the street - it's the perfect stretch of sand for families since it is partially sheltered by the bay and the waves are calmer.

Featuring wood accents, coast-inspired decor, and picture windows boasting sweeping views, the home's peaceful, cabin-like ambiance is just what you need to unwind and reinvigorate. Settle in during rainy afternoons for movie watching and group bonding in the living area, complete with a library of DVDs, a DVD-, Netflix-, and cable-equipped flatscreen TV, and comfortable leather couch seating for everyone. If it's particularly chilly outside, flip on the gas fireplace to quickly warm the room.

When your group gets hungry, serve up some salmon dip and crackers or a hearty homemade meal made in the well-equipped kitchen. You'll have all the cooking necessities for quick and easy meal prep, along with ample countertops and breakfast bar seating. But if the breakfast bar seating isn't enough, there's even a four-seat wooden table for meals together with your whole group. If the weather calls for it, head outside for an al fresco experience on the home's expansive deck, where you can listen to waves crashing in the near distance while savoring fresh Dungeness crab cakes paired with a fine glass of Oregon pinot.

Afterwards, why not take a sunset stroll on the beach? Uncover hidden treasures in the sand against the backdrop of a pink-hued sky, then return home to roast some marshmallows over the backyard firepit. Head back inside to connect to the WiFi for planning tomorrow's adventures, then retire to bed after a satisfying day.

Up to four guests - and one dog with a small nightly fee - will find the perfect accommodations for a great night's sleep in either of two bedrooms. There is a bedroom with a queen bed on the main level, while up a set of stairs sits a loft space with two queen beds partially separated by a wall. Each bedroom is quaint and quiet, boasting furnishings like bedside reading lamps, picture windows, wooden desks, and even another small TV in one of the upstairs rooms.

Wake up refreshed, pull out a clean pair of clothes from the washer/dryer, and get ready for another day of coastal adventures. You'll find many great day trips just a short drive away, including sightseeing and breathtaking hikes along the plunging cliffsides at Cape Meares State Park (about five miles north), sampling fresh cheeses on a tour of the family-friendly Tillamook Cheese Factory (nine miles northeast), and hiking in the majestic Oregon Coast Range to Munson Creek Falls, a 266-foot waterfall about 16 miles east.

Whether you've come for some much needed rest-and-relaxation or an active weekend of exploring the many attractions around Netarts, you're guaranteed to find just what you're looking for at this charming home. Reserve your dates today for an unforgettable vacation on the Oregon Coast! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

You must be 21 years or older to rent this property.

Great location with beach access. Everything we needed for our family vacation. Thank you!
Michelle P. Jun 2020
The fire pit!!
Tiffinie A. May 2020
Best stay at the beach ever! Right on the beach with Kayaks to use and all the stuff needed to dig clams and go crabbing! We had so much fun!
Michelle G. Mar 2020
When my family and I vacation we will always book this lovely little home on the Netarts bay. It was absolutely perfect. We had 2 little ones with us and they had a blast so it's great for small children as well as all adults. Clean cute house that had everything we needed from cleaning to clamming. We have no complaints and we will book again and again. Thanks again for a really enjoyable experience.
Peter B. Mar 2020
A great house with an awesome deck and the views of the ocean are amazing! Easy access to the beach, awesome fire pit, privacy and easy access to town. The house is comfortable, had everything we needed and we all felt like we were at home!
Kelsey A. Mar 2020
We absolutely loved our stay here! Loved the interior decorating, everything in the house is meant to make you feel cozy. Prime spot with spectacular view.
Jessi M. Dec 2019
I have stayed in my fair share of vacation rentals and I have to say this was by far the nicest place. It was super clean, very well thought out home decor (felt like I was at home, no kidding) and everything I needed was there. Netarts is my favorite coastal town and this place is by far my new favorite place to stay there. I just hope it's available come summer when my family comes back for a visit! Thank you!

The location is Amazing & the views are phenomenal. The only down side was that the front bedroom (on the first floor) let in a lot of road noise & lights from cars. The upstairs window let in a flashing light from a nearby lighthouse or boat all night when it was foggy out. Perhaps thicker shades for night use?

The house had everything we needed & having a washer/dryer was super helpful. Watch your head on the upstairs ceiling, as it is pretty low. Kitchen could use some aluminum foil, plastic wrap, that kind of thing.

It is an amazing house & a few tweaks could make it superb!

The cottage was cozy and the bed downstairs was the best bed I have experienced in all my vacasa rental experiences. We loved the view and the beach access. We would stay here again in the future. I would have given 5 Stars but there were some maintenance issues that were not addressed that others guests previously mentioned.
Manager response:
Jacqueline, thank you for providing your feedback. Please know that we do our best to provide guests with the comfort and satisfaction they deserve during their stay. In the future, please feel free to call us if there are maintenance issues in the unit, in order for local staff to assist. We look forward to hosting you next time!

We thought this cabin was very good. I would stay there again.
The most impressive things about it were the location right on the water, and the view out the back door. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the estuary and even saw some whales in the ocean.

Some things that bothered us:
The stairway to the second floor is awkward, and the ceiling upstairs is low. If you use the upstairs, then somebody will knock their head on the ceiling before your trip is over.
The deck has chairs, many of which are broken.
We were not able to locate a working fan in the bathroom, despite a sign that asked guests to use the fan when showering.

These problems did not prevent us from having a fun trip. I would still recommend it. Especially if you do not need the second floor.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Charles. The broken chairs have been removed, and the bathroom fan is scheduled for repair. We hope to see you again!

This was the best house I have rented along the coast and I grew up along the Oregon coast. The small bay inlet was perfect for the kids.
James M. Sep 2019
My wife and I have enjoyed this great house, watching water sports out the windows, distant waves, exploring beaches and the great local food. We will return next year again !
Lisa J. Jun 2019
Love that it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Awesome sunset views and close to the beach. Had a great family time on the beach.
Jennifer R. May 2019
This was my second time renting this beach house. It is the perfect little weekend getaway. If you like being close to the water and the beach you will love this house!
Lou F. May 2019
Every thing was great except had landscapers there on and off
on Thursday, it seems when we rent right before mothers day
is when they show up. Other than that it was all good, great view and nice weather, close to the beach !
Melissa G. Apr 2019
House was just a perfect beach rental. Cozy but plenty of room for everyone. Nice kitchen with everything needed to cook. Plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. Breathtaking view from kitchen / dining, deck and upstairs bedroom. Everything was clean and worked as it should. Easy access to beach. Would definitely stay here again.
Kathleen K. Mar 2019
We had a fantastic stay in this cabin. We have a 4 & 6 year old and it was perfect with beach accessibility right out the back door. Stairs to upstairs sleeping area are a little bit steep, but my children had no issues navigating them. Having a washer and dryer was wonderful. The space is used perfectly inside with great views from the main floor and even one of the upper windows. Vacasa Support was also great as we had an internet issue and someone promptly responded and took care of the issue that day. We would stay here again and highly recommend this cabin.
Jerome M. Feb 2019
Right on the beach minutes from Tillamook. Cute, rustic little cottage. Nicely equipped with supplies and kitchen. Quiet setting.
Dorothy Jean Y. Jan 2019
We loved absolutely everything!! The house, amenities, access to the beach, beautiful weather (in January!), easy-distance to Tillamook, numerous hiking trails . . . . but mostly the spectacular views and walks along the beach of the Pacific Ocean,
Ryan L. Jan 2019
It was a nice homey feeling and the gas fire place was amazing.
Dawnelle L. Nov 2018
This beachfront cabin was perfect for our sister getaway.
We were hoping for a few nights away from the hustle and bustle of life. We could not have been more pleased. It was as clean and comfortable and warm and th view and access to the beach were perfect.
Thank you to Vacasa and the owners!!!
Samantha H. Nov 2018
The view, simply fantastic.
Kristin S. Oct 2018
This cottage is very cozy. It was clean and had everything we needed. I was skeptical of being on the bay vs directly on the ocean. What I found, however, was that I actually preferred the bay. This location has the most beautiful view!!! Because it is in the bay, it is protected. The waves were gentle and so peaceful! There was wildlife abound. It is just a few steps to the sand. My only suggestions to the owner would be adding screens to more of the windows and one of the upstairs beds could use a topper. Thanks for a great time—would love to own this property.
Marco M. Aug 2018
Everything you need including beach access, bay and ocean view. The only con was the landscaping tee showing up the first day and going to work mowing and trimming while we were having breakfast on the deck enjoying the view and peace. Other than that it was perfect!!
Jeffrey R. Jul 2018
Could not ask for more: great view, good house, clean sheets and lots of towels. We are coming back!
Rick D. May 2018
Loved every minute of it. So peaceful and relaxing. Everything was a short drive away and perfect.
Lou F. May 2018
The house was great, but the landscapers showed up at 9AM
before we checked out which made us feel like we had to rush
out before our 11AM checkout time ! It was intrusive
our serenity was gone they blocked the drive way and didn't let us know they were there, it was loud with mowers and blowers
should have been scheduled after chech out time !
Was thinking about staying another day instead we left at 9:30AM guess the ambiance was gone. All and all the trip went well the house was great nice weather good view !
Thanks,
Lou & Dorinda

Highly recommended! Very clean, very neat.
Chuck S. Nov 2017
Terrific location, beach access, and view. Marginally acceptable accommodations.
Dan S. Nov 2017
Some minor glitches, but a truly special location in a truly great little town. Don't much appreciate having to fill out this review in order to communicate with VACASA.
Sean B. Oct 2017
We had a great time crabbing in the bay, and enjoying the coast. We will definitely stay here again
Tara V. Oct 2017
Loved the location, literally steps to the beautiful beach. We saw pelicans and watched some sea lions frolic and catch fish right out in front of the house. Perfect location to be able to drive up and down the coast. Tillamook is only about 6 miles away and has the Pelican Brewery, Safeway and of course the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Brought my son and girlfriend from Colorado (I'm from Alaska), and we had an amazing time! The sunsets were stunning. Recommend this place and will come back again.
Regina D. Oct 2017
We loved the location and proximity to the beach. We felt secluded from others even though we were near other homes. The home was clean and for the most part comfortable. We hope the bed in the downstairs room gets replaced before we rent there again. LOVED the location.
Meredith V. Oct 2017
Location was great and we loved having the beach right outside our door; however, we considered giving up our second night in the cabin because the bed was so uncomfortable.
Jackie S. Oct 2017
Loved this cozy comfortable cottage. Recommend this everyone from couples to families.
Suli R. Aug 2017
Quaint little beach house, but needs some newer beds.
Jennifer R. Jul 2017
We stayed three nights and wish we could have stayed more. The proximity to the beach and the water make this a perfect getaway.
Tiffany B. Jun 2017
This house was perfect for our little family. Comfy and cozy, great view and very well stocked with the essentials. The beach is literally steps from the back door! We also had to make a quick call to the staff and they were very responsive. Overall, it's a wonderful little home, very cozy and a great place with a gorgeous view! We would definitely recommend this house and will stay again!
Ramya C. Jun 2017
"Happy Camp" - Perfect beach house! Great view and access to the beach. Spacious living room and kitchen. The fire place with the beach view scored the major points! Would love to stay in this place again.
Austin W. Jun 2017
The Vacasa property we stayed at was priced well below what one could expect to pay at a "luxury" hotel, and it was an actual house, to boot. All of the necessities, apart from food, were provided. My wife and I spent three wonderful days at Netarts Bay, and three extraordinarily relaxing nights at our little home away from home. We will definitely be returning!
Bruce M. May 2017
We had a lovely stay in this home, it was well equipped and very clean. The location is wonderful, with excellent beach access. We will look forward to using it again.
Richard C. May 2017
This property is one that my family has been coming to for over 20 years . It's a classic beach cabin . It's comfortable , warm , inviting , and well located . We've always enjoyed coming here and creating memories .
Kerrie N. May 2017
We had a relaxing weekend here with access to the beach within steps! The view from the home is breathtaking and you can enjoy the sunset by campfire or, if it's raining, while eating dinner!
Marilissa S. Apr 2017
It is a great place to stay! Our dog loved the yard, and our being so close to the beach was great! The deck was also wonderful! We used it in spite of the rain, and the view from it is gorgeous. My husband spent lots of time in Happy Camp as a child so this was a perfect place to stay for his birthday.
Dawn P. Apr 2017
Loved the location of this beach house. There's a good sized deck and grassy yard that meets the beach. We had a fire in the fire pit and watched the sunset. In the morning we were able to watch the waves from the kitchen table. Everything you need is here. Very cozy place. We would recommend it tout all who are interested in a quiet and cozy place to get away.
Samantha S. Mar 2017
This house was so well equipped with everything! From the Kitchen to the entertainment systems.

I have never stayed in a vacation rental house that was so spotlessly clean!

I'd stay here again anytime!

The view is fantastic.
Jennifer R. Mar 2017
We had a blast staying here. The bed was a little uncomfortable but ok. There was a ton of towels and lots of stuff for the kitchen to use. We made waffles in the waffle maker and they where awesome. We stayed at the beginning of march, it was a little stormy but we had so much fun. The smart tv helped us get through the rainy days. Over all I would stay here again. Have fun.
Tom R. Mar 2017
nice
Kent E. Mar 2017
We will stay here again. Real unique view as the tides change. No doors to the upper loft area but if all are quiet at night no problem. Steep narrow stairs to loft so might be tough for older people to get up there. Beds all comfortable and place was real clean, real nice. Real easy beach access. Very happy with our stay.
Patricia M. Mar 2017
When we first entered Happy Camp, we were alittle disappointed. The cabin was more worn then we were expecting. It also had a musty smell. Turning on the heat got rid of the mustiness. After settling in we realized, although the furnishings were alittle worn, we were quite comfortable. The house is extremely well stocked. The bathroom is new (although there is only a shower, no tub). The view is spectacular. My only suggestions would be to replace the mattress downstairs as it sank in the middle and to leave specific directions on how to operate the 4 remotes for the tv. It took us 2 days to work it all out. We were very happy with our trip and would stay here again.
Christopher B. Feb 2017
Adorable cozy little cabin with a gorgeous view!
Jill M. Jan 2017
This little cabin is delightful. The deck looks out over the bay and then onto the ocean. Easy access to a long, satisfying beach walk. Everything is clean, neat, tidy. The bedroom downstairs is small but perfectly fine. Upstairs although technically one room (no door) it is two separate areas so two bedrooms. The view out the kitchen sliding glass door is so special. Quiet, peaceful and easy. Great areas to visit nearby (Capes Lookout and Meares) if you choose to leave the beach (you might not-it is wonderful). Recommended.
Tracie W. Jan 2017
We enjoyed our 3 day stay. House had everything we needed. We cooked our meals in the morning and at night. The Bay and Ocean was right in front of us at all times as we had a very large sliding glass window to sit and watch the sea life. We walked out to the back yard and down to the beach with ease. Very relaxing stay.
Jonathan M. Jan 2017
The cabin is lovely and a real gem. My wife and I stayed there for one week for our wedding anniversary. It is located right on the beach - very romantic, and the views are stunning. Everything was well kept and clean - the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The refrigerator is large. Showers were nice and warm. We went in early January when it was nearly zero degrees, and the house heater kept the house nice and warm. The bathroom heater worked great. The main room doesn't have a heater, but they brought us a room heater and that worked just fine. The cabin is surrounded by cabins on each side, but there is lots of space and trees between them, so it feels very private. There is a small grocery store just a quarter mile away, and Tillamook is a 10 minute drive inland where you can get all the groceries you need from Safeway. The service was excellent. The gentleman brought us the heater and power extension immediately and helped us navigate the challenging weather conditions since there was lots of rain and hail, and he recommended some local sites. Overall, it was a beautiful stay. I highly recommend it!
