The cabin is very cozy, has all the amenities you need. Peaceful area, clean and we'll maintained. We were in town for a baseball tournament, so we didn't really get to explore the property much.

Awesome cabin. Just had an unfortunate incident with the septic backing up into cabin. I paid top dollar for our first cabin stay out of our state of Florida and I feel I didn't get my money's worth for dealing with the septic issues for the last two days of our stay.
Manager Response:
We are very sorry to see this stay was marred by a septic issue. We did get this problem addressed so guests can fully enjoy their visit in this home.

We would like to commend the owners of this great place. The property was such a beautiful setting, and the inside environment was a site to behold. We felt blessed each and every moment that we were occupying this wonderful cabin. Thanks again.

Loved staying at Lifting Holy Hands. A home should tell your story and the owners have done a lovely job telling theirs. Peaceful & Quaint, there are so many decorative touches that express their love for this cabin and their gratefullness in sharing it with their renters. The only thing missing is a kitchen table & chairs, but depending on your needs, you really don't miss it! The narrow well-paved and windy roads to the cabin may make the inexperienced driver of these conditions slightly nervous, but the property & resort are well taken care of.

Thank you for making our evacuation from hurricane Irma a little less stressful. The cabin was clean, peaceful and comfortable...just what we needed. Your use of scripture in the decor was very appropriate, thanks for sharing your faith.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful cabin with our two daughters and had a fantastic time! The amenities were fantastic and we were able to see so much wildlife right in our own backyard. I would highly recommend this cabin for a family or couples getaway!

I left Ellijay in 1960 and moved to Atlanta where I now reside.
It is always great to go back and I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone.
We had a great peaceful and enjoyable stay.
Thanks for all the help in making this happen.

This lovely cabin is decorated over the top - we were discovering fun things on the last day of our 8 day vacation!! The cabin is very comfortable for a family - it has a king bed, 2 full size beds, and one twin pull out bed. The grounds are incredible - there are multiple seating areas to enjoy. A lovely well-furnished deck, seats under the trees on the side, seats down by the stream, and across the stream in several areas beckon for you to sit and enjoy. Our stay was very enjoyable and we would not hesitate to return. However, one warning - do not attempt to find the cabin the first time after dark. It is very dark in Coosawattee, and very confusing to negotiate without daylight.

I've been to this area before & wanted my kids to experience it, so I was very excited when we found the Lifting Holy Hands rental. The property is exactly how it looks in the pictures & my family just LOVED it! The home was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The kids had fun exploring the yard & playing by the creek. We were a little sad to leave and are already talking about our next trip hopefully sometime this summer. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home with us!

My name is Tonya, and this was my very first trip to see any mountains. The cabin was so beautiful, and decorated so nicely. I would definitely love the opportunity to stay in this cabin again. The owners and staff made my entire trip one to remember with wonderful memories!! The trip did NOT disappoint. I saw beautiful mountains, and even stayed put at the cabin one day and just walked the property. What an absolute wonderful retreat. I can't wait to go back. I'm already planning my next trip up here for October when they have the big Apple Festival. If you stay here, make sure to go to Mercier Orchards. They have the BEST apple cider I've ever had in my life.

We had reserved for our family of five to spend Thanksgiving holiday here. Overall it was a well maintained and very well decorated property. A few suggestions: the main level shower would drown a small person. There was not enough adjustment on the shower head. I'm 5' 10" and the shower stream would hit me about eye level. There wasn't anywhere to hang any clothes in the upstairs loft bedroom nor was there a curtain or blind for the window there. The downstairs was about 15 degrees colder than the upstairs. If you were to get the heat warm enough to heat the downstairs, it was very hot on the main level and extremely hot in the loft. We couldn't use the fireplace very long at a time since it would warm the thermostat to the point it wouldn't come on at all to help warm the downstairs.
We were planning on starting a load of laundry when we left, but there wasn't any laundry detergent. We didn't know we were supposed to bring that. It had a K cup coffee pot. We weren't aware of that until we arrived. We had brought regular coffee and didn't think about bringing K cup coffee. It would have been good to know that.
Overall we all enjoyed our time there. Very nice place.
