Ski-in/Ski-out alpine condo, with mountain views & prime location

Treat yourself to a stunning alpine condo that puts you right in the middle of the action! This Durango home features a ski-in/ski-out location, sweeping views, and room for everyone to spread out in style.

Located in the base village of Purgatory Resort, you can utilize an unpublished ski run to get to the chairlifts, or call the shuttle to take you the heart of the village.

This cozy, laid-back condo will welcome you into your mountain getaway. Kick back on the plush couch while you flip through the cable channels, or pop in a DVD to watch a movie on the flatscreen HDTV. Cuddle up next to your special someone by the crackling wood-burning fireplace.

Crack open a few bottles of local suds and step out on your private deck to take in the mountain views. Connect to the WiFi to stream some tunes while the private washer/dryer takes care of the dirty laundry. Fire up the outdoor grill to show off your BBQ skills with a delicious dish.

The classic kitchen features everything you'll need to bring your culinary creation to the table. With stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, and a dishwasher to take charge of the cleanup, keeping your crew fueled up and on the go will be a piece of cake.

As the day winds down, this four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home can sleep up to eight guests with ease. There is a king bed, three queen beds, and a queen-size sofabed.

During the winter months, you'll be able to dive skis-first into a wide offering of snow-filled fun. The slopes at Purgatory Resort gives snowboarders and skiers the chance to experience everything from a challenging black diamond to group lessons at the Snowsports School.

In the spring and summer, you can fly fish along the Animas River, or find a spot to cast a few lines on the shores of Columbine Lake. Hike through the tree-lines trails, or push your adrenaline on the mountain biking courses. Afterward, dive into a flight of seasonal beers and mouthwatering plates at the Steamworks Brewery in Durango.

Whether you're shredding the fresh powder, casting a line, or relaxing on your deck, this Colorado mountain retreat puts all of them at your fingertips.

We had a great weekend skiing at Purgatory. The location and size of the apartment at Sitzmark 1 was perfect for us. The place was clean and easy to live in. We would definitely love to come again. Thank you for a great stay!

Great property! Lots of room! The kitchen was stocked better than any other home we have ever rented. The property interior is a little dated but in surprisingly good condition. Great Deck! Will consider this property again! Response time to reservation request was greatly appreciated!!!

Pros: Great location. Plenty of room. Upstairs bed very comfortable! Cons: Downstairs 2 rooms beds were very uncomfortable sadly and pet hair on couch and blankets. Vacasa did reply to my concerns about the pet hair which was nice.

Although this is an older unit, it was very clean and in good repair. Bathrooms and kitchen have not been updated, and the unit is not fancy, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

The condo had a nice layout and amazing views and location but we will likely stay at the Durango Mountain Lodge at one of their condos next time because they include access to the pool and hot tub whereas this property does not. The kids came with their swimsuits but we were not allowed to use the Durango Mountain Club and the kids liked hanging out there when we stayed at the actual lodge before. We found the pillows, bedding, and towels old and the master bedroom mattress absolutely killed my back so no skiing for me. This property worked in a pinch for MLK weekend but we will not be staying here again.

We had a group of 6 adults (3 couples) on a ski vacation. This home met our needs perfectly! There were three bedrooms on the ground level, each with queen beds. A full bath as well as full sized washer and dryer. On the second floors r was the main living area. It was an open concept with plenty of comfortable seating, a dining table that sat 6 as well as a bar with 3 barstools. The kitchen was well equipped and very modern. There was also a bedroom on this main level with a king bed and private bathroom, however I found it slightly odd that this bathroom was actually within the bedroom and not a separate area (no door, completely open). There was also a half bath on this main level, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. and a nice balcony off the living room. The views from the main level were absolutely beautiful! We absolutely loved bed staying here and would definitely come back.
One negative is the ski in ski out is only a true option if you are an advanced skier, able to si a "black". I am only brave enough to ski the blues so this was not an option for our group, but the shuttle was available if requested.
