Steps from the shores of Fallen Leaf Lake, you'll have plenty of spring, summer, and early fall fun right at your fingertips here!

Wood-paneled ceilings and crafted wood accents set the tone for your stress-free getaway in this cozy cabin. On chilly summer or fall evenings, lounge on the plush couch as you cuddle up by the wood-burning fireplace. Choose a movie from the provided collection, or log into your personal Netflix account on the Smart TV to make it a movie night with some popcorn and friends.

With a private washer/dryer, everyone will stay looking their best during your stay. While you might not have WiFi access, you will be able to step out on the deck and enjoy the cool mountain breezes as the towering trees sway above. When hunger hits, you can stay outside and get grilling on the gas BBQ!

Back inside, the fully equipped kitchen features a gas range, toaster oven, and full-size refrigerator to make cooking a breeze. Dine at the eat-in kitchen table and then break out the provided board games to fill the home with laughter.

As the day winds down and it's time to retire, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom home will play host to up to six guests and a canine companion (for a small nightly fee). Upstairs, there's a queen bed and two doubles and downstairs, there are two twin beds in the main living area.

After enjoying a robust cup of morning coffee on the deck, take the whole crew to the lake to find the perfect fishing spot to try your luck. Rent a boat to get into deeper waters where the bigger trout will be waiting. Go over to Lake Tahoe to rent a jet ski or a kayak to explore the sapphire waters, or hang out on the beach to play a game of volleyball with new friends.

If you're looking for the perfect spot to get away from it all, while having easy access to local attractions, then look no further and book your retreat to this Lake Tahoe home!

The cottage was in a great location with gorgeous views of fallen leaf lake . The house was very comfortable and had a great vibe. We loved our stay and will definitely be back .

Spacious enough for 6 people. Clean throughout. The deck and outdoor furniture need some TLC.

Hope to return! The cabin is small and intimate, not a lot of privacy inside, but a great place to stay with people you like. Well appointed with linens and kitchen equipment/supplies. Great location, quiet area. Easy walk to community dock. Fun, quaint amenities. Thank you!

Love it. Great spot for our family to enjoy down time by the lake. We enjoyed a kayak on FLL and trip to Angora Lake. We also enjoyed reading on the great deck while the kids played games inside.

The cabin was great for the location- close to trails and lake access. While at the cabin we did not spend too much time inside, the kitchen has been updated but the rest of the house while clean, is a bit dated. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and grilling.

We had a great time at Fallen Leaf Lake although we hardly touched the lake at all! We hiked and fished at the lake, but the water we did enter was the Truckee River in rafts. Really relaxing and refreshing. We also tried Tree Top Adventures ropes courses. They were really supportive, encouraging. It was a great trip!

Property did not have much of a view of the lake. Needed work on the outside of the home. Noisy in the area due to work with chain saws.
Manager response:
The lake view is filtered by trees and is very lovely to see. The cabin is older but in very good shape. At this time of year people are busy cutting wood in preparation for the winter months; we apologize if this was a nuisance.

Stayed for 4 days in August with 2 adults and 4 small dogs. Loved the cabin, but the only 'coffee maker' was a french press, which we later found out was intentional, so be prepared. You can see the lake through lots of trees, but it isn't 'on the lake', and not really an easy stroll to get to it. Very quiet and peaceful, and the photos on Vacasa are very accurate - great deck, cozy and welcoming inside. There is lake access that you can drive to. Recommend that you do your research and print it before you go, internet is unreliable, but that is part of the fun!

Amazing cabin. Terrific location. Comfortable. Relaxing and quiet woodland atmosphere. Up to date appliances. Well stocked kitchen for cooking etc. Very comfortable beds and furniture. So nice to wake up and read out on the deck in the morning. There is so much to do and see in this area, especially if you enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, mountain biking or boating. We were there with our teenagers for 4 days without internet and they had a great time unplugging!

Loved our stay here! Will definitely be back!

Lovely, cozy cabin with view of the lake. Be sure to check the Vacasa "trip portal" for important restrictions and ask the reservation agent what they are before you confirm your reservation.

A serene place with its own charm and personality. Lovely place!
