Cozy mountain cabin w/ entertainment - close to the town, lake & ski slopes!

All varieties of fun await you on a vacation to Big Bear Lake! At this two-bedroom cabin, up to five guests will have in-house entertainment plus nearby access to town, the lake, and a couple of ski resorts for a truly memorable vacation.

Located in the quiet Moonridge neighborhood just a few miles from downtown and the waterfront, the Bear Mountain Golf Course is just down the street, as well as the Big Bear Alpine Zoo for family fun. When it comes to skiing, choose from the slopes at Bear Mountain Ski Resort (just one mile away) or Snow Summit Ski Resort (about three miles to the west).

The cabin itself has a warm, rustic appearance with wood walls and ceilings. Recline on the couches with a good book while the wood-burning fireplace crackles in the background, or sit at the table for a friendly game of cards.

A flatscreen TV equipped with cable and WiFi is great for entertainment after a full day of activity - stream your favorite Netflix shows or just surf the channels.

Cooking is a breeze in the full kitchen, which has all the essentials you're used to, plus extras like a waffle iron and coffeemaker for a smooth morning routine. Be sure to put the wine glasses to use when you celebrate your time off! Four may sit around the dining table, and a long bench table will fit more.

There are two bedrooms - one with a cozy king bed and dual bedside lamps, and the other with a twin-over-queen bunk bed. With one shared full bathroom, up to five guests may stay here comfortably.

Outside is a large deck that will encourage you to spend time outside on sunny days. Use the gas grill to cook up tasty food, and eat your feast at one of the large picnic tables!

This cabin is perfect for couples or a small family - in summer, spend your days on the lake boating around and partaking in water sports, or rent a kayak or canoe to paddle slowly around the lake. Go for a dip on a hot day to freshen up, and bring your fishing gear to score some fresh fish for dinner! Mountain biking and hiking through the beautiful forest are popular activities in summer, as well.

Winter transforms the scenery to a snowy wonderland and brings new opportunities with it! Go downhill skiing on the slopes nearby or bust out your Nordic skis and snowshoes for a change of pace. You might try zip lining for a new experience and get a bird's eye view of the glistening trees. After a full day of fun, head into town to enjoy pizza, French cuisine, or some burgers at one of the delicious local restaurants.

No matter the time of year or the occasion, fun and relaxation are guaranteed on this vacation - book today!

This cabin felt cozy though it was a very good size for myself and my boyfriend. It was beautifully decorated, felt warm and homey, very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great romantic weekend.

The place is old but clean, the floors sqweek, no dishwasher and some of the dishes were not clean with food on it inside the cabinets so we had to pre wash the dishes that we were going to use and hand wash it after according to the instructions we had to wash it and put it away and take the trash in the car to desegregated trash area then they charge you for cleaning the place
Manager response:
We appreciate this feedback. It is standard policy to request the guest to remove any trash they have here in Big Bear, California. We do ask guests if they world start a load of dishes in the dishwasher as a courtesy but don't require it. The housekeeping manager has made sure all cookware and dishware were properly cleaned. Thank you!

To me this location is great for easy access to everything and you can avoid the crowds coming up Highway 18 by taking the back route Highway 38. Also if your going to Bear for snowboarding or skiing be sure to stop into town if your going to be renting equipment. These shops are fast and easy returns and the price is half of what you will pay on the mountain and you will avoid the long lines. Be sure to pull into the parking lot around 7AM for front row parking. It $20 but well worth it.

The cabin was perfect for our little family of 4. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Had booked this place for me and my family for our first skiing trip, but came by myself since everyone else was still sick. So it ended up being a great place to bach it for a couple of days. It was very clean and comfortable. Great place to recover after a long day at Snow Summit. Brought my PS4 so I was able to game it in the living room that evening. Though I had a peaceful time for myself at this great place I hope to come back again, but with my family for a great time in Big Bear!

The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived, check in was as easy as it gets. The cabin is close to both bear mountain and summit as well as shops and restraunts making the location very convient. The cabin had a full kitchen with anything you need if you prefer to stay in and cook. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back.

Adorable, charming and convenient. The property had all the things you would need to come right in and enjoy. Utensils, linens and shovel for snow and sleds for the kids. Only request would be to change the carpet.
