Ski-in/Ski-out lodge with private hot tub & stunning mountain views!

Everyone deserves an unforgettable ski vacation - especially your family and closest friends. With this gorgeous Montana lodge, you'll have plenty of room to treat them both! Hiking trails in the summertime, ski-in/ski-out access to the resort in the wintertime, and amazing amenities and views all year round make this Big Sky rental one you won't want to miss.

Just eight miles west of the small town of Big Sky, this duplex in Moonlight Basin for eight is well-positioned for your next ski vacation - it's just minutes away from both of the major lodges of Big Sky Resort, the largest ski resort in America! Put on some skis and fly down the slopes right out your door, or just marvel at the sweeping mountain views from the comfort of your very own deck.

Rich wooden textures dominate the interior and exterior of this home, from the firm walls outside to the sleek hardwood floors within. The rustic-chic theme is further accentuated by small touches like the stonework surrounding the fireplace, as well as decor like a stag's head just above! Upscale leather furnishings and granite touches elsewhere in the house give a luxurious feeling to the nice, welcoming atmosphere.

The great room is perfect for coming together as a group after a long day out on the slopes. Take one last look at the mountains below from the deck before stepping on the heated floors inside and warming up by the fireplace. Afterward, sink into plush, leather armchairs, recliners, and a sofa. Admire the lodge-style decor around you, or use the WiFi to upload photos of your home's gorgeous view.

Big Sky has plenty in the way of restaurants and bars, but there's nothing better than turning ingredients from Hungry Moose Market into delicious home-cooked meals. Gourmets in your group will fawn over the fantastic kitchen, complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Lay out some snacks for the kids at the breakfast bar for four as you finish up dinner, then enjoy your meal together at the nearby table for six. Before you go to bed, be sure to relax at the tables or hot tub out on the deck, taking in a nightcap and some conversation with your friends along with the stunning vista below.

Eight guests will be very comfortable in this home's four bedrooms, each offering private showers thanks to en suite, granite-textured bathrooms. A half-bath is also available for extra convenience. The master bedroom boasts a private flatscreen satellite TV and DVD player, while both it and the second bedroom have king-size beds, private gas fireplaces, and access to the beauty of the deck. Between the third bedroom's queen-size bed and the fourth room's two twins, you'll have no problem fitting the whole family!

Wake up to a hot shower, then pull your clothes out of the private washer/dryer - you have a busy day ahead of you! Nearby Big Sky Resort has mile after mile of snowy slopes for skiing and snowboarding, but don't fret if you're visiting in the summertime. Guests in the warmer season can head down to Big Sky, where they can try golfing at either Big Sky Golf Course or Bighorn Ridge Disc Golf Course!

As tempting as it can be to just stay in the immediate area and ski, you'd be missing out on plenty of day trips if you did so! The county seat of Bozeman is just 52 miles northeast, and in addition to new shops and restaurants to try, the town has several museums for a nice change of pace from the great outdoors. Meanwhile, a 58-mile drive will lead you to the world-famous wonders of Yellowstone National Park's west entrance.

Make your next vacation something truly special. Place your reservation today, and secure a getaway in the mountains of Montana with the people that matter most!

Great location and views

Even better than the pictures!

Second time renting this home. Views are outstanding. High-end exposed wood timber and stone throughout.

Excellent open concept layout w large kitchen and family room with huge vaulted ceilings, large master and ensuite bath on upper floor. 3 bedrooms each w ensuite baths and walk-outs to Alpine Meadow ski slope are downstairs along with laundry area. Hot tub has been relocated to upper floor outdoor deck area (from the lower level walk-out area), which improves views from the tub, but takes up most of the deck space for summer meals/coffee outside.

The layout of the home is key, with a big open main room for cooking, entertaining, dining and relaxing. But it also has large bedrooms, each with en suite bathrooms, that provide private spaces guests to retreat to, and not bump into each other as happens with shared bathrooms.

Minor negative issues persist (washing machine still inoperable, lots of lightbulbs burned out, stovetop hood fan inoperable), but all are small and fixable should the property manager choose to address. Small positives include a well-equipped kitchen with lots of pots, pans, trays, plates, dinner table seating for 8 and a well stocked spice cabinet.

We so enjoyed our first time to Big Sky Montana! The home was clean and spacious. The views were some of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen! Will rent this home again.

This is our second time staying at this home. We love this home. The only issue was that the washing machine did not work and they knew it and never told us. The part was not going to be in while we were there and we packed to have a washing machine available.

Gorgeous home, amazing views, and a cozy place to stay!

We went during October which is the best time to go. We were the only ones there, no crowds, snow on the ground. The home is GORGEOUS! No expense was spared, this home is amazing! Worth every penny. So comfortable and the hot tub was fantastic.

Loved that it had 4 rooms with their own full bathroom!!

Enjoyed our stay here at Alpine Duplex 7B. Had a blast except for the fourth bedroom which had two twin beds instead of a queen or king size bed. That was a downer considering the fact that we were four couples. Apart from that, the stay was amazing. The property is luxurious and provides all basic stuff you need to spent your time away from home in a peaceful and relaxed environment with an amazing view right outside the window.

Beautiful property; would have been a 5 star but we had too many issues. Sleeps 8 adults comfortably. Nice hot tub; not much outdoor furniture compared to other homes in the same block. We had internet & SAT TV issues that we found irritating. Unit needs to be cleaner. Would not book this unit again.
Manager response:
We had the TV up and running the day after this guest's arrival with the help of the provider, and we will follow-up with housekeeping on the cleanliness comment. Thanks!

Incredible view and very nice features. Our family had a phenomenal time there. It was unusually hot so it took a while for the rooms to cool down at night.

Awesome Mountain View from living room window

This is a perfect home for a family ski vacation. Access to the house from the trails is easy. Our family of six enjoyed Big View Drive very much. A beautiful home in a beautiful setting, and Big Sky skiing is second to none.

This property is very nice, ski in ski out and only a short 10 minute drive to the nice downtown of Big Sky.
Olive B's big sky bistro in town was a nice lunch spot, Horn and Cantle was nice for dinner with a lively bar area, Buck's T4 was a bit homey as its in a hwy hotel but the food was excellent, Everett's 8800 was great for lunch but recommend reservations as it could be packed.
We walked down to the nearby moonlight club (as we noted previous reviewers stated they did the same) it is a members only club and we did get asked to leave so I would clarify you have the property owners guest member first before booking this property or understand that club is fairly serious about members only. We would certainly book this property again.

Spent Christmas in such a beautiful place! House was warm cozy. Hot tub was MUCH appreciated after exhausting and exhilarating days on the slopes. Grounds crew kept all roads plowed and passable - we got about 15 inches one night and left very early the next morning -- roads were plowed and our walkway was dug out for us. Beds were very comfortable - plenty of room for us to spread out AND be together.

House was lovely and most comfortable, however, AFTER our group (3 couples traveling together) checked in and did a walk through, we went to dinner. When we returned from dinner we discovered an outdoor patio table and four chairs had been taken. After four calls to vacasa office, leaving detailed information about table theft, we finally got a call back 24 hours later. We were told they would try to replace table, which was never done. 1 day later, a young man brought two plastic chairs (as I had also informed the rep in my vm that there was a lack of patio furniture. (No way to enjoy the beautiful scenery with coffee, etc) the young man mentioned that the OWNER lived nearby and "most likely" took the table..as he had done this before. Wow!!! After our check-in? Overall, the house was very comfortable but unfortunately was tainted slightly with the "owner" theft.
Manager response:
We apologize for the confusion regarding the patio table. The owner will be replacing the table shortly. Thanks!

A beautiful location and large place. This is a million dollar view and a well built place. But details are impiortant. Vacasa response to a few issues was poor. We rented in summer and there is no A/C, and infloor heat runs even if thermostats are turned off. This means it was 85 on main level with windows open. No central air. Also, not as big of a deal, TVs are outdated and no direct TV as advertised (said "service interruption"), wouldn't usually care but sports program on I really wanted to watch but couldn't. Tried to stream but the internet is slow/cuts out. Called Vacasa, they never got back to me but claim a service guy "tried to call". Not sure how I never received any call or voicemails. Anyway, it's really a beautiful property, just needs some fine tuning. And Vacasa should improve its communication.
Manager response:
We are quite disappointed to see this guest felt they were not cared for during their stay. The property manager did attempt to call guest as well as stopped by the home. He was unable to fix the cable issue while he was there and had to schedule an appointment with the provider. The home does have radiant heat which can be tempered by using the fans and opening the windows. Thank you!

This duplex had everything we needed. The layout was perfect, the amenities were perfect and it was very comfortable. The unit was clean and there was plenty of storage. I would highly recommend staying here and plan to again!

Look forward to a return visit.
