3-story ski-in/ski-out townhouse w/ outdoor hot tub, access to Big Sky Resort!

The best of Big Sky Resort is just beyond your doors at this ski-in/ski-out Moonlight Basin vacation rental, an inviting three-bedroom townhouse with an outdoor hot tub, a chalet-inspired interior, and more than enough space for up to nine guests. There's even a game room in the basement.

Ski down to the Pony Express chairlift or walk 75 yards to the Iron Horse chairlift - it's the easiest, most convenient access you'll find to Big Sky Resort's 300 ski trails! But the location is also three miles from shopping, plentiful dining, and apres-ski entertainment at Big Sky Base, and about 10 miles from fun seasonal events at Meadow Village.

Whether on a mid-day break from the slopes or snuggled up during a snowstorm, this three-story townhouse is a relaxing home away from home. Meticulous attention given to every detail, from the mountain-themed decor to the elegant furnishings and accents inspired by the outdoors, ensures the most comfortable stay possible.

Curl up in front of the living area's gas fireplace when it's chilly outside, or catch a nap on the luxurious brown leather couch. You could also gather your group for a family movie or favorite show series on the DVD- and cable-connected TV. A media dock, CD player, stereo system, Blu-ray player, and WiFi add more options for group entertainment.

Soothe any end of the day aches with a dip in the swirling, velvety waters of the outdoor hot tub, where you'll also be treated to panoramic views of the majestic Northern Rockies.

When it's time to eat, head back inside for quick and easy meal prep in the spacious kitchen. Lay out ingredients and pre-meal appetizers on its generous granite counters, whip up fresh bison burgers and other Montana favorites on its modern appliances, and get the job done efficiently with a variety of available cookware. Extras include a coffeemaker and coffee grinder, crockpot, blender, toaster, and even an ice maker on the large refrigerator door. Seating for group meals is provided at the breakfast bar or at the dining nook's wood table.

Sleeping up to nine, the three bedrooms are the perfect refuge at the end of an action-packed day. Downstairs, there is a master suite with a king bed and a guest room with a queen bed. The upstairs loft has a queen bed and twin trundle bed, along with a twin bed in a recessed wall. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower/tub, and the lofted bedroom even has access to an outdoor balcony. A full bed futon, DVD, and Wii game system are] available in the basement area.

Wake up after a great night's sleep and begin a new day of adventures. You could certainly spend another exhilarating day on the mountain, but if you'd like to explore the area, you'll find many great day trips. How about a trip to the magnificent Yellowstone National Park? The park's West Yellowstone entrance lies only 59 miles south!

During the warmer months, you'll find numerous activities in the surrounding Gallatin National Forest, including hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, fly fishing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, and much more. There is also a seasonal farmer's market in downtown Big Sky, free weekly concerts during the summer, and fun for the whole family watching pro bull riders compete in the PBR Rodeo.

Impeccable ski access, nature at its finest, and a beautiful multi-level home to experience it all in - what more could you ask for? Reserve your dates today for the Montana getaway of your dreams at this Saddle Ridge townhouse!

We stayed at this house for a week of skiing. It is very well equipped for a long stay. Everything i needed in the kitchen was there. The beds were very comfortable the house was exceptionally clean. Easy access to both Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing.

Loved this place and lots of space including 4 bedrooms and one with 2 large bunk beds so sleeps a lot of kids. We only had 4 people and was very spread out. Kitchen has everything and more. Hot tub was warm every time and easy to open and close. Only negatives are almost too minor to mention. No where to throw out garbage and per locals it was a two mile drive so plan on taking it down to dumpster by car or make less.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, David! We're so glad the space in this home provided an ideal gathering place for your family. Trash can be taken to the refuse center located just before the Moonlight Rock entrance, and any additional trash may be stored inside the garage of this home and will be picked up after guest departure. Please choose us for your next getaway!

The apartment was lovely, and a quick drive to Big Sky to ski. Kitchen was extremely well-equipped - whoever furnished it is obviously a real cook! It was also very near a little plaza with restaurants & a grocery store.

One negative was that the heat in the main room kept shutting off - seemed to be a fuse thing. But the owners were very responsive!

This place has everything you would need and plenty of room. The only negative was none of the decks had been shoveled leaving about 5 feet of snow on the main deck. We had to dig out snow to get the hottub cover open. I'm glad we didn't plan on using the BBQ.

Our town home, Saddle Ridge I-5, was beautiful, convenient, clean and perfect distance to Madison Base ski area and Mountain Village ski area. After a full day of skiing, our 3 young children were able to come home to either play in the snow or relax in the hot tub while we cooked dinner and enjoyed the cozy fireplace. The kids also enjoyed the media room with a Wii gaming station. This town home was actually big enough for 2 families to share. The staff at Vacasa was very helpful each time we called with questions. Big Sky was beautiful, and we can't wait to go back.

We booked our trip one year in advance and in that time, the rental company was bought out by VaCasa and the unit we'd booked was no longer a part of the program. There was a lack of communication up front about this change, so we were suprised upon arrival. The Saddle Ridge I-5 unit is a great ski accommodation for the price, but wasn't what we were expecting. The owners have made multiple upgrades in the I-5 Saddle Ridge unit, particularly in the bathrooms, which were much appreciated. Ski access is only a short walk across the parking lot and Moonlight Lodge is a stone's throw away. It is worth noting that no floor, not even the main floor, is accessible without a flight of stairs. Otherwise the unit is well stocked and well appointed with plenty of storage to organize ski gear for an extended trip.
At first, the corporate phone number we were given only allowed voicemails, so we highly recommend emailing first to verify you have the local number. When we went to the office to discuss the disparity the staff could not have been more accommodating or understanding. They immediately upgraded our unit to be beyond what we had originally expected as it was the only unit still available that met those original requirements. We could not say enough for the local management's handling of the situation and responsiveness and can give our unconditional recommendation to book through VaCasa in Big Sky with them.
