Boasting large windows and gorgeous views, as well as wood plank walls, floors, and ceilings, this home has a modern-rustic feel. The living space is cozy yet open and offers a comfortable, inviting space for lounging in front of the fire while you take a rest and watch the snow fall outside. The washer and dryer are also located in the kitchen.

Enjoy your culinary creations together at the unique dining table for eight while you make plans for your stay. The cooktop bar in the kitchen with seating for two is a great place to begin your day with a cup of coffee.

This two-bedroom (one in the loft), two-bath home accommodates up to six guests. Wrap yourself in cabin warmth in the downstairs master bedroom, and sink into the queen-size bed. The loft area features four twin beds and a small bathroom and is a great space for kids. Surrounded by a four-foot tempered glass railing with decent views of the TV in the living room, this area gives kids a safe, worry-free place to call their own.

If you feel like staying in, congregate at the dining table for a few board games, compliments of the selection (for both kids and adults) this home offers. In the winter the slopes are close by. With over 650 acres, Brian Head is comprised of two connected mountains, Giant Steps and Navajo, and offers 71 runs and eight chairlifts with skill levels for everyone.

In the summer walk out your door and hike any of the 15 available nearby trails or around the lava tubes at Mammoth Caves. Get your mountain bike out on Bunker Creek Trail, and catch the shuttle back to Brian Head when you're done. Anglers will have a plethora of possibilities for fishing, and if you want to venture farther out, five national parks are a day's drive away: Grand Staircase - 80 miles, Zion - 87 miles, Kolob Canyons - 50 miles, Bryce Canyon - 60 miles, and Cedar Breaks - 5 miles.

This cabin exceeded our expectations with comfort, peace and quietness! Nice to check out of the rat race of life once in a while and this did it for us.

We absolutely loved our stay!

Everything about this cabin is amazing. The location is great. There is a beautiful meadow located across the street. We saw deer and a porcupine while staying here. The cabin was so clean it seemed like we were the first ones to stay in it. It was awesome having a washer and dryer available, we did not come home with any dirty laundry. I would highly recommend this cabin to people with young children. There are Pixar DVD's and board games that kept the family entertained once the sun went down. The cabin is very quiet as it is located at the end of the road. Overall we had a GREAT experience in this lovely cabin and we will be staying here again for sure. Thank you to the owners for providing such a nice cabin.

Great cabin if you’re looking for some quiet time with incredible views. The cabin is darling: wood paneled, large windows with beautiful views, small but open feel to it. I would definitely stay again. The lack of WiFi was actually a nice change for us.... we cooked together, put together a puzzle, read books(do people even do those things anymore). Great, peaceful weekend away.

The cabin was clean, beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed the views and loved the quiet.

We loved our stay at the red door retreat. The home was very clean and cozy, we had a wonderful time here on vacation! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again. Vacasa staff was helpful and responsive.

It was a great stay. The cabin had plenty of room and very comfortable. Thank you.

This was one of the best weekend getaways our family has had! You walk in the door and it is exactly as you see in the pictures. The cabin is a home away from home and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed both nights of our stay playing games, watching movies and staying warm by the fire. The movie and game selection were great. We had even brought games with us and didn't even pull those out!

Breakfast was easy, we found that there was everything needed to cook with. Just bring your food and you are all set to cook whatever you're craving. The kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances, cookware, dishes and more!

We got 8 inches of snow while we were there. We spent most of our time right here at the cabin and was able to sled and tube right here making it nice.

Be cautious if you are coming during winter months and you do not have 4 wheel drive. Even though the city plows, you could find it difficult to make it up the hill when leaving the cabin.

Downside: If privacy is important, the windows in the cabin do not have any curtains or blinds so at night with the light on, anyone can see right in. Also, there is one wall unit heater, although it is enough to keep the cabin warm, it is hard to regulate the loft and bedroom downstairs.

Overall, loved the experience. Had lots of perks we didn't expect. We will definitely be back for a return trip and we wont look anywhere else but here. Highly recommended!

We loved staying here! It was perfect for our three small children. They loved sledding on the street because there is little traffic. It was cold while we were there so the heater was constantly running. It was very dry. This is our only complaint. We didn’t sleep well because we were coughing from the dryness. A humidifier available would be awesome! Or floor heaters in the downstairs bedroom so the heater wouldn’t have to run so much. The upstairs was cozy but downstairs was chilly. We’d definitely stay again though, thanks!
Staff was great and accommodating. Even offered to tow us out after we got snowed it.

Perfect location that just requires s little planning ahead since you can't use garage in winter. Local community is very diligent about plowing roads in snow. Loft is perfect for 2 kids.

Our family of six absolutely LOVED our time here!

You guys had the best cabin that we stayed at. We come every year at the same time. Planning on coming again very soon! Thank you for the great hospitality!

The cabin was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back!

Our stay at the "Red Door Cabin" was truly amazing and was one of the best vacation experiences ever. The cabin was immaculate and very clean and well maintained. Although not huge, it is perfect for a couple or a small family and is very well designed and organized. It is also very well situated being very close to local businesses and other recreational hotspots.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Door cabin. Beautiful inside and out.

First time renting over a holiday weekend and not quite sure what I was getting into but the interior was modern, clean and comfortable. This destination is known for ATV/UTV riding but property had next to no parking for trailer or toy haulers barely could park single vehicle.

Very beautiful, cozy cabin and definitely has mountain cabin charm. We can imagine this would be wonderful cabin and area to visit during the ski season, but not so much in the warm months. Just about everything was closed during our stay, except for the convenience store which had just closed before we arrived.
We decided to stay at a VRBO property rather than a hotel, during our first journey through southern Utah, but didn't realize the area was, for the most part, closed.

Very nice and clean. Top notch amenities and a warm homely feel.
Wayne C. Mar 2017
Beautiful views from our cabin. Very clean and all the amenities. Great place to get away from the crowds. Also is about halfway between Zion and Bryce national parks. Our stay was the end of March so be prepared for snow and four wheel drive is recommended. Definitely would stay again. Great price!

Comfortable beds, beautiful yet simple wood, decor, and furnishings. Great selection of movies, games, and books - especially enjoyed book of short stories and The Muppets movie! Not many left over spices and such, but all the appliances, pots/pans you could need. Overall a wonderful cabin in a stunning setting.
Kyle M. Mar 2017
Great place near Brian Head. Less than 5 minutes away! Small but super cozy, clean and new! We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

Thank you!

Cabin was very suitable for my family - 6 adults. Picture of cabin are right on, except the beds upstairs are now off the floor.
Heather F. Jan 2017
We loved staying here! The kids really enjoyed the loft space and sledding out the front door. It is a little hard to get your luggage to the cabin since there is no drive way or straight path, and there was a lot of snow. The tip on slippers was a great idea. Very cozy and very close to Brianhead. We will be back in March!

We had such a wonderful time in Brian Head. The cabin was perfect for our small family of three. We had everything we needed for a cozy and comfortable ski vacation and would definitely stay here again!

Our stay in Brian Head at the Red Door Retreat was absolutely wonderful. The cabin sits in a beautiful mountain setting. The amazing windows looking out on snow-covered fir trees made us feel like we were Heidi! Our family of six fit perfectly. The bathrooms were more than wonderful with a fully stocked kitchen and even a washer and dryer. Make sure you bring all your cooking ingredients including spices, tea, and coffee but the dishes and cooking supplies were amazing. They even had a slow cooker and a dish washer. They supplied dishwashing and dishwasher soap and laundry soap. You probably also want to bring paper towels and foil, plastic wrap or sandwich bags if you plan on packing lunches. There is a full-sized fridge and also a pancake griddle. There were plenty of towels and the beds were soft with plenty of blankets. The heater worked like a charm and we enjoyed the movie library when we crashed after a full day of skiing. We were sad to say goodbye!

This home was gorgeous and was very clean and very accommodating to all of our needs.
Rob B. Dec 2016
Everything about our stay was a pleasant surprise, from the warmth and comfort of the cabin, to how close to the center of Brian Head we were, to how everything that we needed was already there, to how comfortable the couches and blankets were in front of the fireplace! Pictures do not capture how lovely the cabin is, nor how spectacular the view is of the new fallen snow.

The master bedroom is a good size and very comfortable. With connection to downstairs bath, it can easily be referred to as a master suite. The open floor plan allows family interaction while cooking, relaxing, or watching the very large TV. The upstairs loft rooms allow privacy while enjoying the open floor plan, and having a private upstairs full bath completes the convenience.

All appliances are functional and sufficient. Heat and hot water were more than enough for the size of the cabin and number of guests. The cabin is located on a dirt road that is plowed when snow falls. We walked to the store from the cabin, and could have walked to Navajo a bit further down the road. The driveway is a little steep, so don't plan on parking in the driveway if there is snow on the ground, but there is space on the road in front of the cabin, and the plows make sure to not bury your car. WiFi, cable/satellite, Ethernet are not available, but not missed when enjoying the DVDs, books, and games that are found in the cabin.

What a gem in the heart of Brian Head! This cabin is extremely clean and appeared to be new construction. The cabin comes stocked with everything that you need for cooking, with the exception of any spices (which other properties we have been to stock). So don't forget your spices!

It also came with many many games such as Yahtzee and Monopoly which was very fun to play with the family. Our kids had a blast.

The entire cabin is hardwood floors (very nice ones might I add) but it meant the floor is pretty cold during the winter. I would definitely bring slippers or socks.

The cabin itself is on a street that ends up being a cul-de-sac, with only about a total of 5 or 6 cabins on the street, so there isn't a lot of traffic or people around which was super nice.

The cabin has many many windows which gives the cabin such an open feel. It was beautiful waking up and seeing the storms roll through. I have to admit though, it took a little getting used to (no blinds on windows at night).

The washer and dryer worked great, allowed us to keep up on our towels and a little laundry. They even provided detergent which was awesome, but if you plan on doing your own laundry I would definitely bring your own detergent and drying sheets.

We did forget a few things but thankfully there was a store literally around the corner. They were pretty expensive though, so I would definitely check your groceries before you come to make sure you have everything.

We would definitely stay again, this was an awesome trip and beautiful home.

What a very secluded and quite stay. The accommodations were perfect. The fire place, couch and beds very comfort. Totally enjoyable stay.
