Hood Meadows are all under 11 miles away, Skibowl being the closest at a quick three minute drive. It was very nice and clean

The balcony was so peaceful overlooking the natural habitat. The sting of lights were beautiful as was the condo itself.

This was a great and convenient summer vacation destination! We took the opportunity to escape the heat (100 degrees at home, 64-79 at this location) and enjoy a fresh new vacation destination and were not disappointed. More than enough room for the whole family, a TV in each bedroom space, and a HUGE TV and hundreds of DVDs in the living room including a massive loud surround sound system that lets you FEEL the movie. To top it off, you're only minutes from more hiking trails than you can imagine AND Mt. Hood.

The heated pool and hot tubs were also a great way to have fun and relax as a family after a long day. This is a great location for a summertime (and winter) vacation!

Condo was nice for a family of 4. Nice amenities, very clean and everything worked. Because it was hot in the summer, the upstairs was not bearable to sleep due to no Air Conditioning. Road noise from main highway made it difficult at night to have the windows open to allow cool air in. Other than that, nice, clean place. But we would not recommend staying here in the summer.
Manager response:
Due to the high elevation, air conditioning is not typically needed, but we do provide fans for those warmer-than-usual nights. Thanks!

I really enjoyed this rental. It was quiet and well stocked including several dvd's and blu rays that my kids enjoyed. The only drawback was having to park my vehicle in the garage. There was no garage door remote included, and even though there was a keypad on the garage the code was not given. This meant every time I returned I had to exit the car, unlock the front door and then open the garage door to drive the car in. Same issue when leaving. This is the only issue keeping me from giving this rental five stars.

We went up to Government Camp a fairly big group, including 4 kids. It was an ideal location so close to town (within walking distance), and it was a great place to stay (comfortable beds, great kitchen, great view of the lake, etc.

We were very thrilled with, not only it snowing but with the unit, view & location itself. This unit was well equiped from the warmth of its fire place & furnace to its amenities it had. We look forward to staying here again!
Thank you!

We stayed here as an anniversary getaway. House was way too big for us, but would be great for 2 couples (2 private rooms) and a couple of kids (not private- bunk beds outside one of the rooms in a sort of loft situation. Good location. Very clean, great kitchen and in the back of the complex so private and quiet. Close to Timberline Lodge.

We stayed at Collins Lake Resort for two nights in mid-summer. The booking process was so easy and straight forward. The property is well kept in order, clean and full of everything we need during our stay. Definitely will back!

Our stay at Mount Hood was magical. The Collins Lake Resort was perfect...clean, comfortable, with a beautiful pool and hot tub. The view from our balcony was gorgeous. We had so many good adventures and took millions of great pictures. Thank you so much for sharing your vacation home with us!

Very nice well kept property.

This was a large unit with 2 1/2 bath. Lots of steep stairs, though, so not good for disabled, elderly, or crawling babies. The kitchen was well equipped. Lots of things to do nearby so we never used the pool, sauna, or hot tub. We would definitely stay here again.

This condo was immaculate, well located and provided a perfect base for our family to have a relaxing AND exhilarating experience. All of our family enjoyed it very much.
Caroline H. Aug 2015
Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing time. The location was perfect for all the hiking trails in the area. The pools were amazing and the house was supplied with everything we needed. The cleanliness could stand to be improved and replacing a few pieces of key furniture would be a benefit. Also, having all employees on the same page regarding "last-minute bookings" and working with cleaning crews to arrange early check-in; this was apparently the only thing not allowing us to check my father in earlier. They may have been in the house cleaning much earlier but we were told we could absolutely NOT check in earlier, even if we paid for the extra convenience. Adding on the "late check-out" was wonderful; we were able to sleep in and enjoy nearly an extra day for a very minimal price. The employee was very nice when we called about the already-broken toaster; she promised to make note of it on our account so we will not be charged.

This condo has it all and in such a fantastic setting. I would highly recommend it

This home overlooks the lake (more of a pond, really). The views out the back are incredible; it probably has the best view of any units at Collins Lake.
Erica M. Sep 2014
This townhouse had everything we needed for our family of six. We stayed during Labor Day weekend for our last hurrah before school started. It was very clean and comfortable. The clubhouse pool and hot tub were a favorite with the kiddos. I would highly recommend the mile high ski lift at Timberline during the summer.
Catie J. Aug 2014
For once a condo stocked well enough with pots pans etc, I could could cook and BBQ a wonderful couple of dinners, cause in Government Camp, not much good to choose from if you want healthy and good for a meal if you eat out.
Sharon C. Aug 2014
The home was more than well equipped for a rental. We found nothing lacking in the kitchen, linens, towels all were great. The only negative comment from one of the party was the master bedroom mattress was like sleeping in a trough and she woke up every time she needed to turn. A new mattress may make this a five star
The only other detriment and not something that can be changed was the highway noise even in the middle of the night. Oh and seeing as we were a group of women DVD supply was in great supply but looked as though main occupants are fathers with children however we did find movies to watch. And with ability to sign into our own Netflix account that was easily solved. All in all a wonderful stay and we all said we would be back as a group or with our own families. And would definitely recommend Collins Lake Resort to friends
