Quiet, coastal cabin getaway, less than a block from the beach
If your dream vacation involves a peaceful retreat to a quiet stretch of coast with a few friends or family members, this Neskowin cabin may be just the thing you're looking for. What makes this vacation rental stand out from the crowd? It's less than a minute from the beach!
Located a little less than 14 miles north of Lincoln City and 10 miles south of Pacific City, Neskowin is one of the Oregon Coast's hidden gems. The town's limited shopping and dining options make it a great destination for vacationers who just want to relax and unwind in a beautiful coastal hamlet while still being relatively close to entertainment options.
Enter this lovely A-frame cabin through the sliding glass doors and find yourself in the main living area. Large windows allow light to suffuse the space. Kick off your shoes and stretch out on the long leather couch while you recover from your travels; the flatscreen TV is equipped with Roku and Netflix in lieu of cable.
A small dining room table seats four, while the breakfast bar provides room for two. The open galley kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a few home-cooked meals.
Just past the kitchen, you'll find a stacked washer and dryer so you can keep your clothes looking (and smelling!) their best. The full bathroom with walk-in shower is to the left.
With one bedroom and a loft, this home is ready to welcome up to six guests. The bedroom is across from the bathroom and features two twin beds and two dressers. There's also a door that leads to the backyard deck.
You'll find a queen-size bed in the upstairs loft, along with a desk and small chest of drawers. The living room couch pulls out into a sofabed, rounding out the sleeping options.
Active-minded travelers will find plenty to do in Neskowin. Take a leisurely stroll along the beach toward Proposal Rock; if you continue south past the landmark, keep your eyes out for the "ghost forest" of ancient tree stumps that occasionally appears nearby when tides are lower.
Go for a hike in nearby Cascade Head Nature Preserve, or enjoy a few rounds of golf at Neskowin Beach Golf Course. If the mood strikes, head to Pacific City for a bite to eat, or check out the outlet malls at Lincoln City for some retail therapy.
For an unhurried Oregon Coast retreat, look no further than this Neskowin vacation rental. Start planning your trip today!

We loved this lovely A-frame. Super comfy sofa and beds, plus less than five minutes (walking) to a gorgeous beach.
We had a great stay in quaint and quiet Neskowin and loved this sweet little A-Frame. It is a two-minute walk from the beach, has a great kitchen and living space and is very well cared for. The cedar tub was such a treat after a long hike that left us very sore!
Things to be aware of: the stairs up to the loft bedroom are extremely steep, so just a note for accessibility purposes to those looking at this space. Also, we did notice that the bed upstairs has little support and tends to sink both people into the middle, which can cause back pain if you have a sensitive back or are staying more than a few nights. None of that was a deal-breaker for us, but I thought I would mention it for those who would be bothered by it!
All in all, it is a great space for a couple or a small family to enjoy the Oregon coast!
We loved our stay at the A-frame. Location is ideal-it is a quick walk to the beach. We found whole sandollars and the beach was empty and pristine! Big comfy couch and Netflix for relaxing after a long day sight-seeing and beach. Even a nice hot tub for warming up after a rainy afternoon. Kids loved playing all the games that were there and building with the Legos. We all were sad to leave and can’t wait to return!
Great place, clean, comfortable right next to the beach.
We loved our winter weekend getaway at this lovely A-frame cabin. Very close to the beach and easy walking to the restaurants in Neskowin. The cedar hot tub is a great touch--nothing better after a cold stroll!
We LOVED our stay in this beautiful A-frame! Such a cute place and super close to the beach! Would highly recommend!
It was our first time visiting Neswokin and we were not disappointed! Such a cute neighborhood and adorable A frame that fit our needs perfectly. Can't wait to plan our next trip!
We had a great time in the little town, walking to the beach, Trading Post, and The Cafe on Hawk Creek. The house in a perfect spot and we enjoyed every minute. We stayed in and played games one night and brought take-n-bake pizza back to enjoy.
We'd definitely stay here again!
This is our second summer visiting the A-Frame Hideaway. We enjoyed our stay so much! The queen bed was more comfortable than I remember and the bedroom is so wonderful for our two small children. thank you for opening your home to us!
This is a great house. Nicely updated and fabulous location.
We have now stayed at this home twice and loved every minute of it. Neskowin is beautiful, the people are friendly, and the place is cozy. The only downside is that I don't own this place for myself!
The A-Frame had everything necessary for a relaxing visit to the coast!
Very nice place, super clean. Quiet and friendly town.
Steep stairs to the loft.
We stayed here for our little honeymoon, and it was probably as near perfect as one could get. The location is amazing - Neskowin has always been one of my favorite places and this house is located one-house away from the beach. The town is lovely and quaint, with a slow-paced vibe and friendly residents. This little "A" Frame is perfectly sized for the two of us, it would have fit our son too, just nicely, if this hadn't been our honeymoon. We had clear skies for New Year's eve and walked the 10 minutes or so down to the mouth of the Hawk Creek and drank a bottle of wine while watching fireworks. It was beautiful. This house lends itself to comfort and relaxation, thoughtful reflection, and easy access to many local attractions without the masses of the other cities around.
Our reservation was easy, along with check in/out! The home came with everything you could want including an espresso maker, which was used every morning! The walk to the beach was only 2 minutes max and the walk to the local cafe was about 5-8 minutes with yummy breakfast choices! We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others and we plan on returning!
We loved this A-Frame escape in Neskowin. It is the perfect combo of rustic cabin vibes with modern amenities. The bathroom remodel was lovely! The central heat worked fast! And the smart TV was appreciated! We were able to escape and relax and will definitely be back in the future. Thank you!
Had a great time. Was our 11th anniversary. Look forward to coming back.
For over $200 per night and no ocean view this place needs to be upgraded. The hide-a-bed is very uncomfortable. The upstairs bedroom in not usable by anyone who is at all unstable, age related or just not willing to climb up there. Coming down is a real challenge! There certainly should be a screen on the front door so that you can leave it open without all the bugs coming in! The giant clock that does not work is not a plus and a total distraction. Television instructions for use are not available and with three separate remotes there is no way to figure out how to get regular TV service! All in all, I was disappointed by the conditions considering the price paid and no ocean view!
We do state in the listing this home is a loft-style cabin; we apologize if this came as a surprise. TV instructions will be provided for the next guest. Thank you!
This was our first try at having our twin 3 year old boys share a room. The lower room with two twin beds worked perfectly. They were a little crazy at bedtime the first two nights but the second two nights they settled in right away. We brought blackout curtains for the door in the room. That likely helped. We'll be back and we recommend this home to others with small children. I was amazed that you couldn't hear the shower running from that bedroom. What a great thing to be clean...so hard to achieve as a parent sometimes. :)
This home was perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband. Simple and basic amenities loaded with rustic charm. We thought the house would have very well accommodated us and 2 young children as well very comfortably. One thing to be aware of is the steps up to the loft are rather steep so for anyone who might have trouble with that the couch is a hide-a-bed and there are also two twin beds in one room downstairs. The loft worked great for the two of us. The location was perfect, a very short walk to the beach access. We have been staying in Neskowin for years and it is a wonderful quiet little spot for a relaxing vacation. Very easy drive to Lincoln City if you are looking for more restaurants and activity. But we would highly recommend the Hawk Creek Cafe both to dine-in and also to order pizza to go. We would definitely stay again!
We REALLY enjoyed our stay at the A-frame hideaway! Aside from missing a couple MINOR extra things, this place had everything we needed. The house was clean and cozy and so close to the beach. Neskowin is such a beautiful, charming, sleepy little town that we loved exploring. The location was ideal for us because we were able to take day trips north to Tillamook & Pacific City, or south to Lincoln City, Depoe Bay and Newport.
This place was perfect for us. The people in the area were incredibly kind and friendly and the beach was awesome! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! You will be happy that you stayed here!
I stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend, and we both absolutely loved it. Quaint, cozy, charming, simple, homey... it has everything you need and nothing you don't. The location could not be better (two minute walk out the back door to the beach-- you can see the waves crashing from the loft windows!), the cabin was adorable, and Neskowin is the quietest little ocean town you've never heard of. Only 15 minutes to Lincoln City (south) or Pacific City (north). We will definitely be staying here again.
The house was clean, the surrounding area was beautiful, very SHORT walk to the beach, a great view of the ocean from the loft, quiet enough to hear the waves crashing from the porch. Everything about this place made me fall in love with it !!! I felt right at home and really cozy! I would recommend for any couples or small family's ????????????????
