Dog-Friendly Cottage w/Shared Pools and Hot tubs - 1 Mile from Windmark Beach

Coral Cottage (B40) was recently painted inside and out, new light fixtures have been added to provide a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The cottage with three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and a half bath/laundry room on the main floor provides plenty of room for your family and guests to spread out and relax. New furniture was selected for the cottage to ensure the comfort of you, your family, and guests. The kitchen has been equipped with everything you need to make cooking as easy as possible during your stay. The living room has ample seating for your crew with a leather couch and a love seat for watching the large screen TV. The spacious eating bar separating the kitchen from the living room is a wonderful place for hanging out or keeping the family chef company. The bedrooms have received a complete update. There are now king-size beds with new pillows, sheets, and comforters in each room. End tables and lights have all been upgraded to make the bedrooms comfortable for reading, watching TV, or simply getting rested for the next day’s adventures. The cottage's media system has been upgraded with Mediacom’s fastest internet service and new upgraded cable boxes at each TV with an extensive channel offering. The Barefoot Community has two large swimming pools and hot tubs. The cottage and the Barefoot Community are dog friendly. There are several trails for walking your dog as well as having the opportunity to take your dog walking on the beach at Windmark or any of the other Gulf County beaches. There are several charcoal grills around the community. The closest grill is twenty yards from the front door. The largest swimming pool is located a short one-minute walk from Coral Cottage.

This house is really adorable! It’s very updated. The bedrooms are big and each has a bathroom which was great! The beds were comfortable and all king size. It’s a charming house and a perfect place to stay!!

This house does not have a week stoked kitchen, the spoons are all serving spoons. Unit is in front of the garbage bin and they pick up the garbage every other day at 5:00am. The bedding in the pictures is not what you get. One bed spread was tattered and torn . The up stair beds are terrible. I would not rent this unit again.

I messaged the company with a question about the property the day I booked and it took 10 days for them to respond. Then I was sent a text and told I could use that to contact them if I had any questions or issues. I was confused about the gate code because the months given did not match when we were staying. I used the text system and sent an email. I still haven’t gotten a response, luckily the code worked but I was panicking the entire ride to the cottage thinking we wouldn’t be able to get in. They should not have a text system that apparently no one checks. I had anticipated doing extra disinfecting because of COVID-19 just to give my family peace of mind but we ended up cleaning the entire house. We had to mop the floors, wash the sheets and clean the bathrooms. It was apparent it had not been done. This was after driving hours with 3 children. We also didn’t have enough linens for our entire party. We had to go out and buy cleaning supplies, a mop, bucket and linens. No one ever checked in to see if we had made it and had any issues. There should have been some sort of courtesy call since there was no human contact during this entire experience. I emailed messaged and posted my concerns on the Facebook page and have yet to get a response. I should be compensated for this huge inconvenience. Luckily after a thorough cleaning we were able to salvage our vacation.

I loved that this unit is on the end with only one house beside it. Colorful and decorative. Quiet area. Spacious house. Great location close to Wi snark public beach access and Port Saint Joe for shopping and restaurants. Could use a few things like lightbulbs replaced in master bath and more than one dish towel and more kitchen items but overall very comfortable stay. Love screened in porch too.

Overall we enjoyed our first experience at barefoot cottages at port st joe . It's a nice location with pools for the kids. Easy access to port st joe and state park. Was a little disappointed in the cottage we had. But the ones my other sisters stayed in were very nice

POrt St Joe is a great town to visit. It is peaceful and the beach is beautiful.
