Experience all Florida's Forgotten Coast has to offer from this three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home with resort amenities. Enjoy two shared pools, a shared hot tub, a fitness room, and playgrounds for the kids.
Located in the Barefoot Cottages, this home is a part of a cottage park community offering 18-acres of nature trails, bridges, and a central mall kiosk. Gulf beaches such as Windmark, Mexico Beach, and Indian Pass can be reached easily, and the location is quintessential Old Florida, with plenty of laid-back charm.
The home itself opens into a clean-lined living room with comfy couch and arm chairs for leaning back and watching cable on the flatscreen TV. If you'd like to catch up on emails, just use the home's free WiFi. The living room leads into the open concept kitchen that provides all you need for a delicious meal, including a dishwasher for ease of cleanup. The counter bar has four barstools should you like to chat with the chef of the group while breakfast is being cooked. Gather everyone at the six-seat dining table for a meal.
Afternoons are perfection spent at one of the community's shared diamond-shaped pools, or luxuriating in the shared hot tub. After a swim, gather your group for a BBQ at one of the grilling stations on the grounds, then sit out on the home's screened-in porch to chat or play cards.
Turn in to one of the home's three bedrooms suitable for sleeping up to eight. The master bedroom provides a king bed and an en suite bathroom, the second bedroom offers a queen bed and an en suite as well, and the third bedroom has a double bed. Additional guests can sleep on the provided sofabed. All will sleep well in the home's central air-conditioning, and linens and bathing suits can be laundered in the private washer/dryer before bed.
There is much to do in Port St. Joe, and the area is sure to leave you feeling refreshed. Spend your days on one of the area's many Gulf Beaches, then take a sunset sail down the Intracoastal Waterway from the marina. After taking in the sunset, enjoy raw oysters and lively music at the local raw bar, or have some cocktails at the town's Tiki bar. Stroll down Reid Avenue for quaint shops and galleries, visit Cape San Blas for its lovely lighthouse, or simply step outside your front door and take a nature walk on one of the community's many greenways.
Leisure is never far behind at this spacious Florida home - don't wait to book!
