The pictures, the description and the overall experience of this home was 100% as listed. It is newly remodeled with very comfortable amenities and the view can't be beat. We will definitely be coming back to Paki Maui 222 again!!!
We loved the condo! Great location for everything. Shops, food and groceries across the street. Perfect location for golf between Kaanapali and Kapalua. We saw whales and rainbows from our lanai every morning and turtles in the afternoons. The beach there was nice for walking along and swimming but too rocky to get out for snorkeling. Snorkeling and boogie boarding beaches were close by. The condo was clean and upgraded. I heard from other guests that some of the places at Paki Maui were not as nice but there are several different vacation companies operating condos there. Room 222 is one of the best! We would stay there again. No a/c but the plenty of cool breezes from the ocean. Big rooms with king beds and pull-out couch made it possible for 6 of us to stay comfortably. For the price, location and view, you can't get anything better.
We couldn't have been happier with the location, the room, or the amenities. Not a single complaint and we will try to get this same room every time we return.
Great week in Maui celebrating a family birthday. Will be back again...hopefully sooner than later.
We had a fantastic visit to Maui! The condo was exactly what we needed. It was beautiful and the view could not have been better.
This unit is beautifully done, airy, spacious, gorgeous double lanais, nice to have 2 king beds with hotel-like linens, proximity to pool was no problem. Can't hear any noise over the waves most of the time. :)Unit is nicely modern.
No sun on the lanais which was nice for us ( a reprieve!) but tanners who don't want to leave the unit would be disappointed?
The property is lovely and the price is pretty reasonable for Maui. We really enjoy the Paki Maui and this was our favorite unit ( we have stayed in 4)
The only bummer is how much maintenance needed to happen on our vacation (fridge replacement, flooding issue, cable box upgrade) We didn't want to deal with any of that!
We have been to Paki Maui 12 times, 5 times in this condo rm 222, this was our Best experience so far, going through Vacasa. They were so helpful and kind
If you're new to this room, 222, you will be amazed at the view, and comfort of the condo.
We have stayed at Paki Maui in the past because of its location. This unit was just right for a family with two teenagers. Several other reviews have warned about the proximity to the pool. We did not find it to be a problem. The pool hours are reasonable. If you're traveling with kids you won't find it an issue.
This unit has amazing views. We had friends staying on the 11th floor of The Whaler in Kanapali and our views were better than theirs. The big downside was that it is directly over the pool area, so is rather noisy, often from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM. We had to ask at least twice for the people in the pool to either quiet down or be mindful of other residents, especially at night as they didn't seem to have a security guy patrolling around. This would have been helped if the unit had air conditioning so you could close the windows but in order to keep air circulating that was impossible. Our kids in the front bedroom also noticed a fair amount of noise at night. Probably would give it 3 1/2 stars if able. Highlight of every day was sitting outside watching the sunset unobstructed.
The location of this condo was amazing! You can hear the waves crashing from the master bedroom and from the living room. The view was perfect! We enjoyed snorkeling in the ocean right outside the condo, and the pool was great too. We had a wonderful vacation!
The Paki Maui had a beautiful view. It sits so close to the ocean that you can hear the waves crashing all day and night. My overall opinion was that it wasn't the best young children friendly complex. Being an AC free unit the best way to get airflow through was to open the back and front doors. The front doors led to the main hallway so if we wanted a breeze then that was a door that my active 2 year old was able to run out and out of our sight. Also, there is no beach and if you want to go in the water you must walk over rocks of varying sizes - not exactly safe when you are carrying a young child. Also the pool decking was incredibly hot to the bottoms of our feet and the pool isn't safe for very young kids. No wading pool so therefore they must be held and watched every moment if around the pool. If you're looking for a place to vacation with young children this isn't it. I was so happy that Vacasa was so accommodating to us to move to a better location after one night. Otherwise the unit was cute, and beds were comfortable.
So this is most likely the best unit/view I've stayed at in Hawaii(4times)... The unit is great, the beds are wonderful, 2 porches, looking down at the pool area and ocean front. It was great as we had our kiddo and could talk to eachother from the pool area(which is only open from 9-930- so it wasn't annoying).
Location: Great.. directly next to a nice park, that is perfect for kiddos to play in the surf as there's a protective reef and calm water. There's also a hand full of great businesses. Farmers market, fish market, mixed plate(all 3 are 5star local yelp spots), there's also snorkel/surfboard rental.
You will miss this place, alot!
Having experienced another very good suite managed by Vacasa during this same holiday, I would not rate this unit as being suitable for six adults; four at most. The unit has not been kept up to date with renovations, so it was a bit lacking compared to the other, but still was clean, quiet and in a great location. No daily housekeeping, which is fine, but also no vacuum cleaner, no proper broom or dustpan or in-suite laundry facilities, which would be appreciated in order to keep the place as clean as we would have liked.
This was our first "non-all-inclusive vacation" and we could not have chosen a better place to experience this type of vacation. We watched whales frolicking in the ocean each morning from our leni and three large turtles decided to visit us during our stay. There is a great fish market right across the street and a great grocery store within walking distance (maybe 3 blocks). Our condo was quiet and secluded but close to all the amenities that you would need. There is even a public beach/park right beside the apartment building that is perfect for the little travelers. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anybody who wants to see Maui. 10 thumbs up!!!!
We really like the place, it was nice with a super view.
The picture on the website clearly represent the place.
The condo was has we supposed it will be.
We have a lot of fun there.
The unit was very nice, view was excellent, and parking was convenient.
The Paki Maui is beautiful and directly on the water. It is conveniently located near shopping, groceries and the beach.
There are 2 lanais with incredible views of neighboring islands and great space to enjoy dinner with friends.
