Oceanfront, dog-friendly home w/ jetted tub, beach access & sweeping views

This dog-friendly, oceanfront vacation home in Yachats will make your Oregon Coast getaway a memorable one. You get the best of both worlds: ultimate relaxation with a jetted tub, sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, and immediate beach access, as well as nearby in-town conveniences.

Located right on the beach, just off Highway 101, this home is in a prime location for easy access to the sand and water, in-town shopping and dining, and short road trips to nearby coastal towns. You'll be just a bit north of the historic 804 Trail and a little over a mile from central Yachats.

Inside, this home has a fun vibe with tasteful beach decor and contemporary furnishings. Play your favorite music on the stereo while you unpack. After you're settled in, stoke a fire in the old-fashioned woodstove then lounge on the leather sofa with a good book and a glass of wine. Watch some Dish TV to unwind in the evenings, or make a selection from the VHS library. In the summer, move out to the deck that runs the length of the house and breathe in the salty sea-mist air while you take in sweeping ocean views.

Start every morning in the bright kitchen, which features standard appliances, including a dishwasher, light wood cabinets, and purple countertops. Enjoy your coffee at the breakfast bar for three while you make plans for your day. In the evening, create a mouthwatering seafood dinner and savor it with your guests at the chic dining table for six. If shrimp kabobs sound good to you, fire up the gas grill in the garage for an easy meal.

This two-bedroom, two-bath home accommodates up to six guests. Two dogs are also welcome for a small nightly fee. The master bedroom has a queen bed and several seating options, as well as large windows, deck access, and a full bath with a large jetted tub and stand alone shower. The second bedroom also has a queen bed, and there's a queen-size futon for an additional sleeping option. This home boasts a full laundry room with a washer and dryer, utility sink, and ample counter space for folding laundry.

Use the complimentary WiFi to check the tide schedule, and when it's too high to be on the sand, lounge on the stilted deck and enjoy the sensation of almost being on the water. When low tide comes, take a stroll along the water and find your way to the 804 Trail, which will take you to restaurants and shops in town. And if you're in town on a Sunday, be sure to visit the Yachats Farmers Market for fresh produce, arts and crafts, and live music.

When you want to get out and explore, drive about four miles south to Cape Perpetua for a look at the spouting and churning waters of Thor's Well, Cooks Chasm, and Devils Churn. Or head north about 22 miles to Newport for a visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium and a tour of the famous Yaquina lighthouse. Of course, Yachats itself offers plenty of fun shops, varied restaurants, and eclectic activities, so you don't need to venture far if you don't want to.

Come to the Oregon Coast to relax and rejuvenate, and choose this lovely beach house for your home base. Get ready for your memorable Yachats getaway, and reserve your dates today.

It was peaceful, welcoming, beautiful views and very relaxing. I would recommend it again.

The view from the house was spectacular and the house was wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped, and plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The best vacation ever!

If you are all about location, this is going to be tough to beat. Beautiful view - you can literally toss a ball off the porch to anyone on the beach -- it's a 15 second walk out your door and onto the sand. That is the highlight and we did take full advantage of it. The house is very worn - so we did no more than sleep in there. Needs some TLC - starting with new windows as they prevent you from seeing the beautiful view. If the weather wasn't perfect and we couldn't sit on the porch outside, we would have been very disappointed. If you just want a place to sleep, cook and spend all your time on the beach = great option.
Manager Response:
We have performed a maintenance inspection on this home and are working with the owners on making improvements based on our findings. Thank you!

Beautiful view, literally 30 second walk to the beach & amazing jetted tub! Great place!!

From the incredible views to the comfortable home, everything was perfect!

we had an absolute wonderful time in Yachats in this home, we felt right at home in this small town and right on the water. We experienced great weather as well as rain as well as a storm and loved it all. Yachats gives you the small town feel but is close enough to larger towns if you need shopping or a busier atmosphere. We did travel some North & South but to do it again we would stay here again and plan to in the future. Home had everything we needed, we experienced everything as positive, nothing negative that I can remember or would want to point out. The only "minor" request would be having access to a garage door remote, but honestly not a big deal to go in the home and open from inside and then pull car in. We were all not wanting to leave and find ourselves looking forward to going again.

Pictures do not do this home justice! It is amazing! Being right on the beach is not only peaceful, but so serene! We loved the daily whale sightings and friendly little sea lion that hung out in the water . I will definitely come back to this place! I hated leaving!

Paradise, even for a stormy week.

Great location off the main highway. Quiet & wonderful ocean views. Easy beach access once the tide goes out. Was perfect for 2 couples. House is well equipped. Even has an electric veggie steamer! Be sure to ask about the dumbwaiter & where garage door opener is!! We didn't discover it until after we hauled everything up the stairs.... So far, this is our new favorite Yachats vacation rental!

The view from this property is stunning! Prepare to be blown away by the close proximity of the ocean. Its fabulous. The few things that need upgrading could be done with minimal expense and we hope by our next stay they will be addressed.
1. Upgrade kitchen prep knives
2. Fix the roaring oven fan
3. Put some rock on the muddy driveway
4. Fix the smoke alarm
Manager Response:
We have been able to address all the items listed. We greatly appreciate this feedback!

We stayed the 3-8th of December and the weather was wonderful, it was in the 60's every day no coat needed! We saw lots of sea lions right out in front of the house. We walked on the beach everyday, ate great food, and did a little shopping. The house is Absoutly perfect, we will be back.

This house is great. Great views and very comfortable. I have very little to complain about with this house. There is a Dumbwaiter you can use to assist in bring the luggage and groceries upstairs. The stairs to the beach are not difficult or too steep. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

The beach was just steps away, you can hear the sounds of ocean all the time and the view was amazing. It has been 7 years since were at the coast so we really enjoyed our time there. The stairs to the house took some doing but we would stay there again in a heart beat.
Allison C. Oct 2017
This home is right on the beach, making it an ideal vacation spot. Our only complaint was that we felt the property could use a good deep cleaning.
Gary F. Oct 2017
Very nice oceanfront home, beautiful ocean views, VERY uncomfortable dinning
and living room furniture.

We had relatives from Delaware with us and they were very impressed. The location can't be beat. Our shih tzus were fascinated with the deck. They spent a fair amount of time running from one end of the deck to the other. The master bedroom was great. I will come back someday.

This house in general is great. The view from the windows and deck could not be better. The kitchen is well equipped. The place was clean and tidy, although some furnishings and carpet are older. We had a few questions and concerns and Vacasa called us right back. We would like to see a few improvements to the place such as better chairs for the deck and a new grill, but nothing major that would make us not recommend it, and we stay at a lot of places. If you want to be right on the water, this place is really ideal with the path right there to the beach. The trail is right there as well that you can walk on for miles. It does sleep 6, but know that the futon couch is right in the living/great room if that is a concern. Yachats is a fantastic little town with a lot to do!

We arrived a little early around 3:30 so we drove around for a while. We came back at 4:00, check in time and they were still there cleaning. The property manager told us to bring our stuff in while they finished. He said he was short housekeepers and had to hire someone and help out. The housekeeper told me she had only been working for this company for an hour. I had to clean the sink while she stood there waiting to leave. The futon was cover in sand and when I tried to vacuum it up, the vacuum was completely full, the same one housekeeping was using on the carpet! The next morning the coffee maker wouldn't work and I shined a flashlight in it and have never seen anything that disgusting. I went to the local store and bought 2 gallons of vinegar and completely cleaned the coffee maker and it finally worked. When I went to run the dishwasher, there was only 1 packet of dish washing soap, so back to the store. The clothes washer didn't work very well and the lint trap on the dryer was full of sand. I usually don't nit pick but I paid a lot to rent this for a week. I expected more. After driving for 12 hours, I shouldn't have to clean before I can get settled. The house was definitely in better shape when we left than it was when we got there.

Very nice.
MICHELLE K. Jul 2017
The house was very clean and comfortable, especially the large master bedroom with its access to the deck. The views were spectacular. We would have extended our stay if we could have.
Joanna P. Jul 2017
We spent a week in this cute, beach house. We loved the location and the fact that it wasn't right in town but you could still walk there (about a mile and a half). It had a nice beach access (although there were a couple of broken steps which could be easily maneuvered ). Overall the house was nice and functional, I would suggest some improvements though. The master bed is pretty hard and the house is in general need of some updating (including kitchen appliances, bed linens etc). BUT if you are more about the beach and the access and can give up some luxury, it is just fine.
Wanda B. Jul 2017
We were very pleased from the moment we arrived. Amazing views of the beach and the ocean from all the windows. Loved sitting on the deck and listening to the waves! Everything was clean and comfortable. We are so glad we stayed and would come back again!
Richard K. Jun 2017
The home has everything to make your stay comfortable. Top of the line appliances, comfortable beds, all gadgets in the kitchen, even a coffee grinder. The sea seems to be right underneath the house at times. Simply awesome. We found having a dumb waiter very convenient. The garage is tight but adequate. There are a few steps leading to the beach the rest is maneuvering over big rocks which was a little balancing act. There are stairs leading to the house which presented no problem. All in all, we recommend this home to anyone wishing a relaxing stay on the wild Oregon Coast. We would rent this home again.
Marc G. Jun 2017
We enjoyed our stay at Sandy Shores. We particularly enjoyed the view from the deck. We saw Sea Lions and Whales daily and could easily walk down to the beach during low tide and explore. Close to town and nice coastline trails. The house was comfortable and quiet area. Would definitely recommend and would consider coming again! Thanks!

If you're looking for quality family time, this is the perfect place. We're goiania stay here again!!!
Matthew W. Apr 2017
We really enjoyed our time at Sandy Shores. A great place to relax, play a board game, and enjoy the scenery. At high tide, the ocean literally splashes onto the rocks just below the deck. At low tide, beach access is great, but the sand always stays wet. Ready access to the 804 trail provides for an easy and scenic stroll toward Yachats. The downtown had everything we needed (grocery, bakery, brewery, fish monger). Looking forward to another visit.
Robert J. Mar 2017
House directly on the beach....and during high was 20 yards away. Great location and fun city.
We will stay here again.
Warren T. Mar 2017
Great view even in stormy weather! Clean, comfortable home with plenty of space to relax.
Gary H. Feb 2017
The home is wonderful, the spa tub was relaxing, the view couldn't be any better.
Linda V. Feb 2017
This cozy two bedroom house has spectacular views of the ocean which, on occasion at high tide, appeared to be right outside the patio door! The house was well appointed, very clean, and just right for the four of us. It does, however, require one to be able to climb stairs to get into the house. A dumbwaiter in the garage is an ingenious way to get heavy things into the house without carrying them up the stairs. All-in-all it is a place to which we may return in the future. Thank You.
