We had a lovely stay at the house, very cozy house and the outdoor space was great.

The layout. Upstairs rooms with their own den/TV.

Lots of problems with freezers, table, as owners went cheaply in updates, it appeared... VACASA WAS WONDERFUL IN RESPONSE! Yet, layout, seating, bathrooms, wonderful cozy back deck were terrifjc for talking and connecting.
Manager response:
Hi, Pam! Thank you for your feedback. We do apologize for the inconveniences you encountered. The table has been fixed, and we are working with the owner on other improvements to the home.

This house had plenty of space for a large crowd. We were there visiting family and it was only a two minute walk for us to my parents home. Size of the house and proximity to my family were the main reason for choosing this house. The house appears to have been built in the 90s and it does not appear to ever have had any updates to the house. The front of the house has a nice covered porch with chairs and the back deck was large with a big table to eat outdoors. We enjoyed the outdoor space the most. The kitchen was well equipped to cook a meal . The bikes were outdated and really should be replaced. The carpet had a lot of stains. I recommend a child gate for the stairwell for future guests. Also, the shower head in the master bathroom spewed water out in all directions. I found the hallway bathroom shower much more accommodating. Overall I would stay here again and recommend to others.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review Gretchen! We will address this information with the local staff. We look forward to hosting you again soon!

This house is really large, just as described. It is a very good place for either a large or small group. Just my wife and I stayed for 2 weeks. It is very comfortable and well supplied.

The gas grill and charcoal grill were both in really rough shape and haven't been cleaned up in awhile. The bikes are also really rough and most tires were flat and the chains off some of them. There is a pump and tools so you can get them rideable, and maybe that is the condition most people are used to for their bikes. However, If you are used to riding a nice bike, you will not be happy with these.

The grills and the bikes are my only two negative comments and the reason for 4 stars. We enjoyed our stay very much and do recommend this place as a very nice place to stay.
Manager response:
We appreciate the guests feedback and apologize about the issues faced. Our local staff will be doing a full clean of the gas grill and the bikes will be repaired as needed. Unfortunately, the charcoal grill is not listed as an amenity and is not for guest use.

The location is great and close to golf courses, places to eat and the ocean is just a short walk away. There were 7 ladies staying in the house and we had plenty of room to be on our own if wanting to. We were there for a golf tournament and it was a great place to stay.

Light, bright, comfortable home to relax in following our race.

I had my wedding at McMenamins on July 28. This house was perfect for us. It had a wonderful back area for lounging and a separate upstairs living space. It was wonderful and easy to access and get to while in town for our wedding! so much fun and a great and clean place to stay!

The house was a great, quiet escape for our group. Everyone slept comfortably, and the three showers were awesome when we all got back from a full day. We loved hanging out on the back porch with the many house blankets and comfortable chairs, and we all watched the World Cup together on Sunday morning, so we appreciated the cable! There were also lots of fun games in the house, and tons of towels and extra pillows, so everyone felt very well taken care of.

We really loved staying at this home! We used it as a bit of a retreat for old college friends. We adored the huge, very private back deck with lots of very comfortable seating, and the main are inside was nice, too. The kitchen was perfect, with everything we needed, and we also really appreciated the extra beverage fridge in the garage. It was a little weird having to go through the garage to get to the other bedrooms, but ultimately made for a nice, quiet separation for folks. It's a 16-20 minute walk to the beach, and it's a great beach. Also appreciate how close to sweet cafes and coffee shops. The bikes were in pretty bad shape, so we tried to clean them up a bit and put some air in tires, but they turned out to need more TLC than we could give. But, no matter as we just walked around instead.

Manager response:
We are in the process of taking the bikes in to the shop for repair one at a time. We are glad to see the stay was enjoyable!

Nice clean house in a quiet cul-de-sac close to the golf course as well as Seaside and Astoria. There are two bedrooms and a study that was perfect for a Pack-n-Play on the main floor. The additional two bedrooms have to be accessed through the garage and are more like a separate unit. A good unit for two families or one big one.

My lovely family crashed her during spring break this year. The house had plenty of rooms and lovely beds for everyone. Plenty of space for us to hang out in the living room and eat around the big table. It's still spring at the Oregon coast, so we didn't spend much time out on the deck, but it's lovely and would have believed it would have been awesome to spend time there if it was a little warmer and dryer.

I'm quite a cook and have the tools I really like in my kitchen. This place was a little weak in that category. Enough to get by if you're doing very basic stuff like reheating or simple cooking. Not too many pots, pans, baking sheets, etc. Plenty of dishes and two coffee pots!

Overall, a lovely place and definitely enjoyed ourselves there.

The kitchen was well appointed and the house had a nice layout. It made our family vacation easy and everyone was comfortable. It was really close to Seaside and convenient to Astoria. And we really liked that you could walk to McMenamins for music and a pint.

Every year my TEAM and I do a weekend getaway. We have stayed in many homes, but this by far was the best! The home was perfect for our group. The layout gave us plenty of space for all. We loved the large table to gather for food and games. Everything was very clean and fresh and the fresh flowers on arrival was a great touch, very welcoming!
Everything we could possibly need was there. I have already recommended this home to my friends and family who like to travel.

Location was wonderful. We were here for a ladies golf tournament and the house was cozy and could give each of us our own room without an issue.
Bonnie A. Sep 2017
Two bedrooms and a bath ate accessible through a route through the garage that is cut off from the rest of the house. This should be clear on the house description as it does not work for visitors with small children. The walk to the beach is a bit over a mile which is good exercise

A great place for a large group.. Nice outdoor area with large deck. Would differently stay again..

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is perfect for gathering families together. We enjoyed the back deck so much and the kids enjoyed the rooms above the garage. Thank you for sharing our home with us!

Overall the property was a fun place to stay for our teachers retreat. We enjoyed the outdoor space. The location was great and the house had good separation of space. It was lovely and relaxing. Thank you

This house is the perfect setup for multiple families or large groups.

Perfect house for 5 couples that have know each other for over 40 years and have been married for over 35 years each! The big round dining table was perfect..we could all fit around it. Loved the outdoor patio furniture...plenty of seating room for our large group.
We wished we would have made the reservation for longer...we didn't want to go home!
Trina R. Apr 2017
Loved the layout of this home. Plenty of room for the older kids in the loft upstairs (out of our way) with quiet reading room in front of home with view and love the backyard with the fire pit and HUGE deck for entertaining....with the weather was better so we could have used the grill! Loved that you can close off the master from the noise in the front room and the table actually seated 14 which was very handy. Wish we could have stayed longer but the cost was not our to do so this time. Will be planning to stay here again but will home for a new oven:-) The element is going out and the food burnt on bottom and was no where cooked on top - no matter how hard I tried. Had to pull stuff and then microwave it to finish it cooking - not good at all:-(

We rented this house with two other families - a total of 11. We had plenty of space. The kitchen is large and open to the dining and living area so adults could cook and visit without feeling isolated. And there was plenty of room for us all to eat together. The living room is large and had plenty of space for several of us to relax, play board games and watch TV. Rooms were all cute and beds were generally fairly comfortable. I usually hate the beds in most places, but I loved the master room bed. Although my husband hated it. The upstairs was a great space for our kids. You do have to go through garage to get to stairs- a bit unique. They had lounging area and TV. There is limited wireless internet in upstairs so kids were a bit frustrated trying to use their wireless devices. You will have a good time though!

We had a very nice time and this house is perfect for larger groups!

Great location. Close to beaches, downtown Seaside. Also, nice short drive to Cannon Beach, Tillamook, Astoria, and all the State/Federal Parks.

Vacasa staff were very helpful. We were notified right away when the original house we reserved became unavailable due to septic situations. They gave us several choices to book another house, reserved it, and refunded the difference.

I would use them again to book our next vacation.
