The Coyote House 5815 Billings Road, Parkdale, OR 97041

As its lean and adaptable namesake suggests, this pet-friendly, comfortable, and reasonably priced Parkdale vacation rental is a perfect base camp for your year-round alpine experience! Perfect for skiing the slopes, hiking the woods, or fishing the rivers, this quiet, peaceful cabin is ideal for a small family getaway to the stunning natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest

Just 75 miles from Portland, this fantastic cabin is only three miles from the scenic town of Parkdale. Does your family love to ski? From this prime location, you won't have to drive much more than 30 miles for access to fantastic Mt. Hood ski slopes!

There's plenty of space to kick back in the large living room area! A flatscreen TV with a DVD player is great for family movie time, and plenty of modern seating will give you enough room for everyone. With a table and chairs tucked against the wall, the living room also doubles as a large dining area.

In the kitchen, you'll find natural wood cabinets, adding a rustic touch to the room. The large kitchen island gives the adventurous chef in the group plenty of room to experiment! Pack in your groceries and fix a nice meal in the full kitchen, or in the summer, fire up the gas grill around the back and enjoy a burger against a verdant mountain vista while you sit at the outdoor table and watch the kids take a turn on the tire swing.

The Coyote House can accommodate your group of up to six. With one bedroom downstairs plus an additional loft area with ladder access (both with queen-size beds – the loft is perfect for the kids), this home has plenty of comfortable sleeping areas. Don't forget about the queen-size convertible couch in the living room!

One large bathroom with a bath tub/shower combo will keep you plenty warm after a day spent hitting the slopes. Whether you're in the mood for a quick shower or a long soak in the tub, this home has you covered.

WiFi access, a private washer/dryer, and parking space for up to two vehicles are also provided for your convenience. If you do bring your dogs, there is an additional pet fee.

This is an eco-friendly vacation destination. Organic cotton linens and towels, recycled paper products, and recycling are provided. Add the fact that non-toxic cleaning products are used to clean house, and it's clear that Coyote House's environmental footprint is gentle and green!

This cozy cabin is remote and secluded, but its fantastic location also puts you close to town for any necessities. Need milk or bread? No problem. Just hop in the car and visit one of three local groceries where you can also rent a DVD to enjoy after dinner on your very own TV. Grab a cup of coffee at a nearby coffee house or a cool craft brew from the local brew-pub.

The Mt. Hood area isn't just for skiing. If you love to hike, you're in luck! This home is close to many hiking trails in the Mount Hood National Forest. Mountain biking aficionados will love the trails, too! Avid fishers should bring their poles along, because there are a total of 23 wonderful fishing spots in the Hood River Ranger District. Thrill-seekers will also find some of the best windsurfing in the world on the Columbia River (just about 13 miles north of your rental).

Though these activities will keep you occupied during the warmer months, you can't pass up the opportunity to ski the slopes during the winter! An abundance of options surround you at this prime location: Copper Spur (17 miles away), Mt. Hood Meadows (23 miles away), and Timberline (37 miles away) are all great options for downhill skiing, snowboarding, and tubing down the thrilling slopes. Though Parkdale itself is relatively quiet and peaceful, you only need to drive 13 miles north to Hood River for shops, restaurants, and activities galore!

No matter the season, wilderness, fun, and adventures beyond your wildest dreams are in abundance at this fantastic Mt. Hood vacation rental. Whether you're a hiker, fisher, skier, or just a nature-lover, you are sure to be howlin' with happiness after your stay at The Coyote House!

Perfect home to escape the city with small kids. The house was clean, well stocked, and our 2.5 year old sons had a great time watching the cows across the street!

This place is great for dogs especially. The pasture out back gave our puppy a lot of room to run.

The house was very cold and took 24 hours to warm up. Otherwise it was very clean and roomy. The Location was a little far from attractions but very quiet and nice. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nice.

The coyote house was surprisingly quiet and we slept well. The beds were comfortable and the new kitchen is fully equipped. There was no TV reception but the dvd player worked fine. The location, near Parkdale, is close to hiking trails, rivers, wineries etc. so there are lots of things to do nearby.

Great for children. Very peaceful and quiet. Not fancy but a good value. Well equiped kitchen for those who like to self cater. Not much to do in immediate area but property is close to many activities. Heated via electric space heaters and no AC, so might be better in Fall and Spring.
