Bring your friends and family along on a relaxing getaway in Tennessee's Smoky Mountains! With a lovely home and a private hot tub awaiting you at this beautiful property, you'll love every minute of your next vacation.

On your way to your new home away from home, stop in nearby Townsend. The town has all the shopping and dining you need, along with the soothing trickle of the Little River. After a brief drive, you'll arrive at the cabin, surrounded by an acre of green grass, swaying trees, and rolling hills that's all yours to enjoy. Watch the kids run around from the comfort of the covered porch, or soak your worries away in the private hot tub before heading inside.

Floor-to-ceiling wooden details, along with high-quality furnishings and plenty of decorative touches like oil paintings on the walls, give this home a simultaneously elegant and rustic atmosphere. Kick back and relax on the living room's stuffed chairs and plush sofa, where you can enjoy cable, Blu-rays, and video games on the flatscreen TV above the fireplace.

Use the internet to find a fun new recipe to try before breaking in the kitchen! The cooking space has all the basic appliances you need to whip up delicious meals, along with a small island with seats for two taste-testers. Dig into the main course at the table for six indoors, or head out to the seating on the porch. Don't forget about roasting some s'mores at the firepit for dessert!

Nine lucky guests can stay in this home's three bedrooms at once. Couples can enjoy the master bedroom's spacious king-size bed, as well as the second bedroom's generous full-size bed. The final bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed perfect for kids that feel nervous about sleeping alone. Come morning, wash up in either of the bathrooms and get ready for adventure!

You don't need to go far from home to find something fun to do - just east lies the entrance to the hiking, horseback riding, and stunning beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. After a scenic drive, guests can enjoy the bustle of Pigeon Forge, including the rides of Dollywood and scientific exhibits of WonderWorks.

So easy to get to, quiet location but close to stores etc. Kitchen well stocked with necessities, wished it hadn't been rainy, we would have loved to have used the firepit and horseshoes. Great place!

Just wanted to let you know we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Twin Cub Lodge in Townsend TN. The accommodations were quite comfortable and we had all we needed to make our stay pleasant. Thank you and your staff for a wonderful job.

Comfy, clean, spacious, quiet, relaxing...….lots of family memories created here. Only downer was a Moose Creek Crossing website had in bold letters we'd have access to a pool and upon arrival we found this wasn't true. It caused us to spend extra money on things to do, but the cabin itself is perfect.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Good furniture, we're lucky to find the children's toys for entertainment. Biggest disappointment was the fact that there weren't instructions to use a pool, nor where it was.

This retreat is just what we needed. My Dad celebrated his 93 birthday. He lives 20 minutes away so we could pick him up and drive back to the cabin to have dinner. The porch was just perfect for him to rock and watch the kids play outside. When Dad was tired we could take him home. Great since my out of town kids could all come together and not have to stay with Dad causing less work for him and his wife. Very clean and well taken care of. Lots of room for my adult kids and little ones as well. Every thing we could have asked for was provided. Will return again another time.

Great cabin and location, had everything we needed and very clean. Good view of the mountains, close to the GSM park entrance and away from the busy Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge areas but close enough to visit those areas and attractions within a 30 minute or less drive.

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful mountain retreat .
Highly recommend it for a nice break from city life and the “rat race” of every day life.

We were there for a wedding and wish we had more time to have spent at the property. Very nice location. We plan on another trip to the cabin just for "me time".

This cabin is beautiful and a very nice place to stay. If you like the quieter side of the mountains without the crowds and touristy things you will love this cabin. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and sitting on the porch reading and watching the horses across the road.

Love the location. Close to our friends that moved here years ago. Very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at Twin Cub. The location was secluded and peaceful yet close enough to Townsend and the Park to take in some great adventures!

It was a great place to evacuate.

Great stay, very clean and com for table. We had 6 gusts (3 couples) which worked out weel. I think 9 guests would have been a little cramped unless some of them are kids.

Also, as an aside the king bed it's very high up and requires a foor stool. It was okay us because we had some tall guests, but could present an ankle sprain hazard for some.

The perfect cabin in winter. If airconditioning gets upgraded it is the perfect cabin for summer. Great location and very clean.

I can not share enough good thoughts about Twin Cub Lodge! This was the absolute best accommodations we could have had for our all-girl mission team. We had ample space to prepare our materials in addition to rest and relaxation. Our girls continue to rave about the wonderful place in which we stayed. In the words of one girl, "It's just like home!" We felt comfortable, safe, and content. The Vacasa staff was most helpful and went above and beyond to work toward meeting our needs. I can not recommend them highly enough.

Twin Cub Lodge is a beautiful, cozy cabin 30 minutes away from Gatlinburg's hustle and bustle. The furnishings made us feel right at home. The hot tub and fire pit provided wonderful relaxation after busy days exploring.

The cabin was everything we were hoping for. We were able to fix a couple of family dinners with the well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and the beautiful country club pool.

We just experienced a wonderful 7 day visit to the beautiful Twin Cub Lodge. The property is nestled in the valley south of Townsend, the quiet alternative to the Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge areas to the east. The house is very comfortable, and it really felt like a home away from home. It has everything you'll need for your daily needs; the kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of board games on hand for rainy days, and the hot tub was put to good use after our day hikes. The lodge has high-speed wireless internet was a must for planning our daily activities. Cable TV, 4 flat screen tv's and video games are provided, but we never turned them on - there was too much else to do! Although Townsend was pretty quiet during our stay, and not all the businesses were open yet, it probably gets quite busy in the summer months. While the property is on the west side of the park, we didn't mind the small amount of extra time it took to reach the good day hikes on the east side of the park or up to Clingmans Dome. There is good access to Cades Cove, which is where we did a majority of our hiking, but the one-way Rich Mountain Rd. wasn't open when we stayed (it opens April 15th) - we would have used it as a shortcut out of Cades Cove back to Twin Cub. Tuckaleechee Caverns is a must visit and only 2 minutes from the cabin - we have visited Mammoth Caves in KY, and this cave is even better - a complete surprise! And the folks at Davy Crockett Riding Stables around the corner are outstanding if you want to go for a horseback ride. All in all, I would highly recommend a visit to Twin Cub Lodge if you enjoy the peaceful side of the Smokies. If we have the opportunity to visit the Smokies again, Twin Cub would be our first choice as our base camp.

The house is easily located and accessible. We enjoyed the layout and bedroom configurations. The board games and toy closet were a hit with our kids. The roomy dining table was a perfect fit for our family of six and the home was well stocked with towels and basic toiletries.

That said, our experience wasn't great. We were given a wrong access code and couldn't get in the house for about 20 minutes.

The water heater was off when we arrived. The local property manager told us the owner had the same issue the previous weekend and suggested we reset it. The panel had water pooling behind it. We had to reset the water heater and wait for hot water 3-4 times per day during our stay.

Additionally, there was gum in the hot tub. We discovered this after our girls got out with chunks of blue gum in their hair.

The fire pit and surrounding chairs are a great option. There are even s'more sticks in a basket ready to go. Unfortunately, despite picking up wood on our way in, we were unable to use it because there wasn't a fire starter or box of matches in the entire house.

The key code and matches were an annoyance I would have shrugged off if the rest of the weekend had gone smoothly, but in combination with the water heater and gum, the weekend was a challenge to say the least.

We had a great time in Townsend and enjoyed this house. It was exceptional clean and neat. Very relaxing weekend. The kids enjoyed the hot tub while we enjoyed the rocking chairs and watching the horses in the neighboring field. Very quiet stay but just a little drive back to anything you wanted to do. I would recommend this rental to my friends and we plan to return ourselves. Be sure to try out Campfire Grill. Best burgers and rings ever, very friendly help. We also saw 3 bear in Cades Cove. Be sure to visit just before dusk.

My husband and I met family members at the cabin on Friday. We were thrilled when we entered the cabin. It was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated - even prettier than the pictures. My husband's parents stayed in one of the downstair bedrooms, and we stayed in the bedroom upstairs. We slept like babies in the comfortable king-sized bed. On Saturday morning we had coffee on the porch and enjoyed the beautiful view. Later on Saturday we were off to the Tennessee football game. The property was only about 30 minutes from parking at the South Agg Campus. On Sunday we toured nearby Cades Cove. We enjoyed eating at one of Townsend's family restaurants. Next time we visit, we plan to take advantage of the horseback riding stables located very close to the property. My husband wants to play the golf course in Townsend, and I want to visit the local antique stores. We definitely plan to stay at the cabin again and have recommended it to several of our friends.
