Cozy oceanview cottage in great location close to the beach
This Lincoln City vacation cottage boasts an ocean view, two master suites, stylish decor and a desirable location in the popular Roads End neighborhood. Six to eight guests will enjoy comfortable environs and a large open floor plan close to over seven miles of sandy scenic beach.
Walk inside and a large and inviting family room greets you. Equipped with comfortable leather furniture, shiny hardwood floors, and a large stone fireplace with gas log insert, this is a great space to sit back, kick up your feet and relax. This room has over 27 feet of windows looking out toward the beautiful Pacific Ocean! Practically any spot you chose will be a great place to sit back, relax in front of the fire, and enjoy the view. In addition to the natural wonders outside the window, there's also a flat panel plasma TV mounted above the fireplace for even more entertainment options. A queen pull-down style bed is also located in the living room for more sleeping options.
The completely stocked kitchen has been remodeled and updated with a new side-by-side refrigerator with both water and ice in the door, a glass cooktop oven, microwave, beautiful countertops, and dishwasher. The dining table sits just off the kitchen and offers great views of the ocean, so you can soak up the sights while you enjoy your homemade cioppino with freshly baked bread from the nearby Rockfish Bakery.
Stepping outside, a large wrap-around deck is just the spot for watching the beautiful Oregon sunsets or just unwinding from the day's fun activities. After dinner, take a glass of wine outside and breathe in that fresh ocean air! A gas grill is located on the deck for relaxing, fun-filled barbecues in the sun.
The deck also overlooks a 5,000 square foot grassy lot with a fire pit in the middle. Head on down with a bag of marshmallows for dessert s'mores. (Please note: This is a shared common space with the seven-bedroom Crystal Rose home that is located to the east of the lot, so please share respectfully. This cottage can be rented with that home as a combined rental for a maximum occupancy of 24 guests.)
The two large master suites in the cottage are separated by the living room to give each one maximum privacy. The bedrooms each have their own full bathroom and flat panel wall mounted LCD TV with built in DVD player. Each king mattress is a luxury pillow top that will no doubt give you one of the best night's sleep you've ever had. Surrounded by pleasing neutral colors and lovely furnishings, you'll never want to leave this luxurious space!
Lured out of bed by the sound of the surf, the beach is only a short five minute walk away. A public entrance leads you to miles and miles of one of the most beautiful stretches of walkable beach on the coast. Beachcomb, jog along the shore, build sand castles, fly kites in the sun - there are endless possibilities here. For late night entertainment, this home is extremely close to Chinook Winds Casino and its ever-changing lineup of musicians and entertainers.
For rainy day activities, Lincoln City offers abundant shopping and dining, a movie theater, art galleries, and even a large outlet mall. Pick yourself up a new pair of running shoes, browse a collection of paintings, and end the day with steamer clams and fish and chips at Pier 101 Deluxe Bar and Grill.
Close to the casino and grocery store. One level home for those who don’t like stairs. Roomy for our family of six.

Loved everything about this ..only Complaint was the showers pressure was horrible
Misty W.May 2019
Overall the location was pretty nice, the fire pit was shared with the neighbor, but we were able to enjoy it on our last night there, a were cisted 2 night in a row, by 3 does which was pretty cool, they walked within 5ft next to us. A lot of lights in the home did not work which was a bummer. It was clean when we came to stay, we all enjoyed our time! Thank you Vacasa!

My family and I had a wonderful time here I just wish there was a hot tub “speaking into existence” the view was wonderful everything was absolutely amazing! Although, the heat wasn’t working right away maintenance was there immediately to also help with a broken pipe which didn’t stop our fun!! We appreciate great customer service and will be back!

Very comfortable and well equipped

This is one of my favorite homes to stay in Lincoln City. The location, privacy and coziness of the home makes it perfect. I’ve stayed here a few times and always loved it! It’s clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 Stars is because the water pressure in one of the guess bedrooms was very poor. The trickling water made it a little difficult. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay and I would stay again!
We are replacing the pressure tank in the garage this fall, and that should remedy the issue. Thank you!

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. Very clean and cosey. Plenty of room and would definitely reserve again

The home is well furnished and has plenty of space. My family enjoyed their time.

Overall our time in Lincoln City was very positive. The proximity to the beach was uplifting every morning.
The house is located close to Safeway and just about every store you would need to visit in case you forgot something.
More than enough space for a big family or party with two king sized beds, a murphy queen, and 4 additional pull out beds. Even with two families splitting the rental, we were more than comfortable with the space.
We did experience an issue where that the BBQ's propane tank was empty on arrival but the staff of Vacasa were able to swing by with a full one the next day.
The view from the window/deck got you a snippet of the ocean which was enough to stir the heart. The location, rural enough to be inviting to a doe and her fawns to mosey on by a couple times over the course of our stay.
The challenges included the following: a toilet that kept backing up, with little waterflow. If you sneezed in it's general direction it would back up.
In the same bathroom, the shower was a mess in trying to set the temperature just right, you either burned or froze. The waterflow was severely lacking in that shower.
A caution for anyone who has someone in their party with challenges walking long distances, like a grandmother. The house is a the top of the hill and it was a brisk 8-10 minute walk down and a solid 15-20 minute climb back up. Not for the faint of heart.
There was internet there as advertised. But coverage through the entire house was non-existent. Average speedtest showed 8mbps and oftentimes, I found myself using my phone as a hotspot. The coverage can be resolved by buying a more powerful router or using a mesh network. But for our needs the speed was severely inadequate as this was planned working vacation. Had the speed been posted, it would have influenced my decision in selecting the house.
Finally, the slats that were part of the blinds kept falling down. This proved to be very frustrating and constantly needed minding since the alternative would be to have the sun blasting in your eyes. We ended up replacing them each time and finally put up some sheet to provide additional coverage.
In all, we appreciate the chance to stay there. With a little work this place will go from good to great.
We apologize for the issues encountered. We have ordered new blind slats so we can replace any damaged ones. We don't typically have internet issues with this home and believe this guest must have connected to the router next door. The toilet issues have bee addressed, but the shower is a different thing. Roads End has horrible water pressure. This unit has a pressure booster in the garage, and even with that its low. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The house was very homey and spacious
Carla H.Mar 2018
The quality was great. Close to all we needed. Very clean. We had no problems getting to or in the house.

We loved staying at the Crystal Rose Cottage and look forward to coming back. There were a few minor inconveniences in the functioning of the house, the fireplace igniter was stubborn and the garage door was possessed, but nothing that interrupted our enjoyment.
Misty J.Sep 2017
The location was perfect for our stay. A very short drive to the beach. Decent drive to the outlets. In walking distance to Chinook Winds. It is an older house, but the furnishings and kitchen were lovely. The only concerning area was with the window blinds. There were a few blinds missing in the living area and one of the bedrooms, with some of the living area blinds also not closing properly. Only a potential issue for sleeping if it is a summer time stay when it gets light outside super early.

Small but not to small and cozy house fit 8 perfectly. The firepit out back is an awesome bonus and yard is large enough that even being a shared one was no big deal. Unsure if there was supposed to be ac at the house but didn't work if there was. Beach access is walkable and beautiful
Libby D.May 2017
This light and airy home has a lovely, distant view of the ocean as you enter. Generous size bedrooms, spacious living/dining area, and a cozy fire amongst comfortable furnishings.
Sari D.Apr 2017
A cute little house with a terrific view and fairly easy access to the beach (at the bottom of a steep hill.) A bit too expensive for what you get, but depending on the time of year it's worth it. Need to add in the extras that make a house feel like home: throw blanket for couch, tissue boxes and not just toilet paper, coasters, a working gas fireplace that doesn't require a PhD to operate...but overall nice and cozy and would probably stay here again.

Location is great with walking distance to beach close and walking around local neighborhood
Amber C.Sep 2016
We returned to the use the cottage together with the Luxury house. We had a wonderful stay for a four generation get together. The houses work together well and the Vacasa staff is helpful and efficient.
Amber C.Aug 2016
This house was perfect for our needs with two of our family needing first floor bedrooms. A one story house at the cost is not easy to find. There is a view of the ocean but not a great view. The house is comfy but we had some complaints upon arrival. They were taken care of immediately and pleasantly. I was very pleased with the response. I was surprised that the property manager expected to be informed if you were expecting a visitor, even if it was for a day visit. We had drop in friends do we broke that rule. I wasn't going to tell them they could not come in.
Brad L.Jul 2016
We were moved here from another rental, (it did not look like it was advertised) that being said this place was perfect, great view, beds, kitchen, overall organization of the home. We would stay here again without question

Great location. Close to the beach and shopping. Clean house and quiet neighborhood. Overall an excellent choice in Lincoln city.
Scott R.May 2016
Nice little place, big enough for a large family.
Pam D.Apr 2016
We had some maintenance issues. We like going to Lincoln City, though, so most of the days were spent outside. We like the Vacasa site and probably wouldn't pick this house again, but you have plenty of choices.
Sarah N.Apr 2016
The house was very nice and comfortable
Ryan O.Apr 2016
This house has been ran down from the previous year we stayed at it.
We are sorry to see that you weren't as happy with the home this time; we will discuss your comment with the owner for their consideration.
Silverio P.Apr 2016

Crystal Rose is a home away from home!

Enjoyable stay for early March in Lincoln City. We knew it would be cold and wet and the gas fireplace kept Us comfortable. Short walk to beach, convenient to stores and other amenities. Keep in mind that the house was built over 60 years ago so it's bound to show some age, I'm sure You do. A couple more blankets available for the beds on cold nights would be nice. We'll stay again. Off season prices are affordable and the positives far outweigh the negatives.
Tiffany H.Feb 2016
We stayed in this beach house with our family and had a wonderful time! The living room is large and we enjoyed relaxing and hanging out during the day. It's also just a short walk to the beach! The beach is only about a half mile down the hill. I would definitely stay here again!

Took a trip to Lincoln City to Celebrate my boyfriends birthday with 2 friends of ours. House was exactly what we expected, and more. We enjoyed the view, the BBQ and the space. House felt very protected, and we loved the garage. Unpacking was so much better not in the rain. The furniture was comfortable and stylish. We were so happy with this booking and the staff. Thank you for making our weekend so special.
P.S. the Red and Yellow Roses were beautiful....
It's so nice to hear you enjoyed your stay in this lovely home. We look forward to hosting you for your next getaway!
Mark I.May 2015
We stayed here for my birthday and Mother's Day. Our oldest son was the only one of the kids to join us, he is special needs. We liked that the house was one level. The bedrooms were far enough apart that there was plenty of privacy. The view is also nice and there are deer that visit. Plenty of frying pans, a little short on sauce pans and cooking utensils but had plenty of paper products. We would stay here again.
Terry P.Jan 2015
We enjoyed our 4 day stay. Had our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. Everyone had a real good time and plenty to do for 5 yrs to 73 yrs.
Congratulations on celebrating 50 years! We love to hear when guests share special occasions with us, and we are glad that yours turned out well. Thank you for choosing Vacasa!

Karen H.Sep 2014
We loved our stay and were amazed with the ocean view through the windows and off the deck. The firepit for evening family time was such a nice touch and the deck was an excellent place to sit and relax.
Raymond L.Mar 2014
This place was amazing. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was nice, the couch and chairs could have been used to sleep on! It was a very nice 5-star house that made me and my buddy feel like kings while we stayed down for a few days. I can't wait to book it again.
Frieda H.Feb 2014
We enjoyed our stay at the Crystal Rose Cottage. You can see the ocean from the back deck. There is a large back yard to look out on. The cottage is beautifully furnished with two king-sized beds and wonderfully comfortable leather-covered living room furniture. The floor plan is very spacious. There is a what looked like an Ipod player for music, but we were happy listening to the TV music channels. This is a great home to relax in, watch TV, prepare meals, and enjoy the lovely gas fireplace on chilly days.
Gail R.Jan 2014
We had very nice stay at this updated property. It was clean & close to the popular attractions we were interested in. The fire pit in the back & outdoor space was inviting as well. We did have problem with it being drafty the first night due we could not get the fireplace to work.
Lois C.Dec 2013
We were very pleased with the house; the outside is deceiving as to what you will find on the inside. All the amenities are there; & the house certainly makes you believe you are in a very nice hotel with none of the enclosed feel. Our family was very pleased with out stay there.
