Two-level, forest-view condo w/ a deck - just steps from the Village!

Experience the cozy ambience of treehouse living just steps from the Village Lodge at this Mammoth Lakes escape, where you'll enjoy a lovely forest view deck; an ideal location close to restaurants, shops, and the Village Gondola; and access to a shared game room.

This two-level corner condo is located on the second floor of Val D'Isere, a wonderfully convenient complex that sits just 175 yards from the Village Lodge at Mammoth Mountain (which is accessed by a direct walkway over Forest Trail Road). You can walk 350 yards to reach the Village Gondola, and ski home each day (when the conditions are right) on the beginner-level Ski Back Trail down the street.

Park you car in one the two outdoor spaces, ascend a flight of stairs, and step inside to find a beautifully remodeled living space nestled among the trees. Take a seat on the leather sofa, warm your toes by the gas fireplace, and relax with your loved ones as the sunlight streams in through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Throw your snowy ski clothes in the private washer/dryer and move into the kitchen to whip up a few afternoon snacks. This renovated space includes custom pine cabinetry, granite countertops, and modern appliances and fixtures. Sip a cold microbrew at the two-person bar counter, sit down to eat at the four-person dining table, and pour mugs of hot chocolate to sip at the patio table on the deck.

Wake up each morning excited to hit the slopes, which you can do easily by riding the Village Gondola to the lifts at Canyon Lodge. Ski home in the afternoons to post photos of your adventures on the WiFi or watch a few Blu-ray movies on the flatscreen cable TV in the living room. You're also welcome to stage tournaments in the community game room.

With one bedroom, an enclosed loft, and two full bathrooms, this Mammoth Lakes condo will accommodate six guests. The bedroom on the main floor features a queen-size bed, a flatscreen TV, and a Blu-ray player to help lull you to sleep. The loft has a twin-over-double bunk bed, one twin bed, and a TV with a DVD player, while the living room offers a sleeper sofa. You'll also find a renovated bathroom with new slate floors and carpeting on each level.

Thanks to its incredible position between the Village and a lush pine forest, this Mammoth Lakes condo is the perfect blend of natural splendor and in-town convenience. Mammoth Mountain features 28 lifts, 150 named trails, and 3,500 acres of Eastern Sierra terrain that are ideal for beginners, intermediate skiers, and experts alike. And at the end of the day, you need only walk out your door to find coffee shops, restaurants, shops, and charming après-ski spots.

In the sparkling summer months, Mammoth Lakes transforms into a paradise for golfers, hikers, and mountain bikers. Practice your drive at the Sierra Star Golf Course, hike through Mammoth Lakes Basin, or spend a day on the shores of Mono Lake 30 miles north. You'll also be just 66 miles southeast of Yosemite National Park and its awe-inspiring granite cathedrals.

The stunning natural landscapes of Mammoth Lakes await - book your summer or winter escape to the mountains of California today!

Good experience. Easy to find. Great location. Very clean. Easy parking.

This was great for my family of four. We had a great time hiking and swimming in the June Lake Loop and Mammoth Lakes area. Beautiful place to come home to and central to town. Loved the view of the trees from all windows.

Perfect for our family of 5. Beautiful location right by the forest. Adding a ceiling fan in the bedroom would be a great addition.

We have visited this same unit 3 years running, and still will probably return again. Over the years, though, we have felt there are a few things that could be improved. There has been noticeable wear and tear on the unit, such as the mold on the shower curtain downstairs (2 years running), the newly broken downstairs table that has been glued back together in an unsightly fashion, and the chairs downstairs at the kitchen table showing age and needing reupholstering. The kitchen also lacks basic pantry amenities like salt, pepper, oil... This said, the location is still wonderful, and the property taking care of snow plowing and offering the pool/spa is nice. We also think the owners upgraded the downstairs mattress this year, as last year it was very lumpy and hurt both of our backs each night. The view is probably the best in the complex, and the unit overall still fits our family's needs. It just needs a little maintenance.

Had a family of 6 at the house and it was roomy, bright and had all the necessary amenities. We would stay there again.

Everything about the condo was perfect, thank you!

We've stayed in lots of rentals in Mammoth and this is one of the best. Loved the layout, location, and view. Had everything we needed.

Comfortable and clean

Perfect condo just a short walk from the village and the gondola to the slopes, with views into the national park. The condo was great for me and my wife but also is large enough for a family. It was fantastic having a washer and dryer inside the condo, and the hot tub on the property made our snowboarding holiday perfect. We
would definitely look at staying here again for our next holiday to Mammoth.

Close to village, walkable to town gondola;
The condo was clean and well stocked.

After staying in many home rentals, there is clearly an art and science that some have perfected. This is one of them! The spacious one bedroom condo is sparkling clean. It has a large and comfortable living room and large loft with 3 beds and its own full bathroom. The kitchen is very well stocked with pan and utensil needed as well as soap, sponges, paper towels, etc that you would want. It is literally across the street from the Village where you can pop over to listen to live music, drink home distilled beverages, or catch the free shuttle to mountain biking, hiking, or skiing on the mountain. What a lovely spot on the planet!

This our second time staying in this unit and we love because it clean, we’ll stocked and walking distance to the Village, also being a corner unit, it’s very quiet. We definitely will be back.

This property has an excellent location! It was also pretty spacious for such a small condo and had fairly updated fixtures/appliances. Unfortunately there was a terrible smell of rotten mildew or a dead animal in the wall in the Master bedroom so my husband and I had to sleep in the bunk beds! We tried to air it out but it only helped a little and was temporary. We were unsuccessful in trying to reach Vacasa about this problem. I hope the owners get this message so they can fix whatever is making that smell. I hope I wasn't breathing mold!
Manager response:
We apologize for any unpleasant odors this guest experienced. We investigated for a smell and were unable to locate any, nor were our later guests able to notice anything. There is a water heater in the closet that can sometimes smell musty, and we believe this must have been what our guests were noticing. Thank you!

David S. Oct 2017
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in the house. It was just the right size for two of us and was lovely. There wasn’t one thing that we could complain about.
Bryce P. Sep 2017
Condo was clean and accommodating. Within walking distance of the village and restaurants. Met all expectations and would recommend to anyone.
Sue K. Sep 2017
This is a lovely condo in a great location. Walking distance to the village and great restaurants or a few minutes drive if you want to get away from the crowds. Lots of hiking trails right outside the condo and a short drive to the main lodge where we took the shuttle to Rainbow Falls trailhead. We'll definitely be booking this condo again!
Sergio M. Jul 2017
The condo had all the small appliances from home:crockpot, blender, coffee grinder. Great location, right in the middle of town and next to a biking/hiking trail.
Lisa Q. Jul 2017
The condo was beautiful and clean. The location was absolutely ideal. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Nice condo
Beverly D. Mar 2017
We stayed in a beautiful corner unit for 4 nights. As the kitchen is well stocked, we were able to cook most of our meals as if we were at home. The other plus is the availablility of a washer and dryer in the unit. Didn't have to return home with suitcases full of dirty clothes! The only negative about this stay is that I wished we could have brought our dogs with us.
