The stay was nice with a great location next to the lake. It's very spacious, but the inside needs some remodeling. Everything is old and a couple of cabinet doors were coming out in the living room and kitchen. The bed in the master was a bit rough and small for a master bedroom. Also, we wanted to extend our check out to noon, without any luck. It would be nice to have two full days in the house, since the check in is at 4PM.

Anyways, If this home is remodeled a bit, it's a great home to spend a weekend getaway.
Manager response:
Hi, Cornelius! Thank you for sharing your feedback and bringing some items to our attention that may need some TLC. We have forwarded your feedback to the local staff so they can work to improve the house for future guests. Please know that we are unable to offer early check-in or late check-out at this time due to the expanded cleaning measures required between guests. We're happy to hear that overall you enjoyed the home and had a great time. We look forward to hosting you again for a future stay!

The house was comfortable and cozy. Many of the furnishings and household items were a bit dated, but in a good way! Many parts of the home reminded me of my own home from when I was a child. We would stay here again!

We came to Tahoe for 2 nights , this cabin had filthy carpet, utensils were dirty, mold on shower curtains, coffee pot didn’t work it actually spilled coffee grounds all over counter , Electric stove top didn’t work wasnt even connected .. masterbed was hard as a rock , pictures on line had beach access... this is a lie ... we had to drive 15 minutes to get to water access, not worth the money i spent , not happy !
Manager response:
Hi, Shawna! We have delivered a new coffee marker and spoken with the owner about the stove. Please note it does work despite being a little tricky. Thank you!

Nice and well equipped. Long driveways was perfect for my truck and trailer. Forks were missing - easily remedied. We could easily ride bikes to Caspian Bay beach and Grill.

The location is perfect - quiet neighborhood, lots of majestic trees, cabin-in-the woods feel. Plenty of parking space, nice deck out back for outdoor dining. The only reason for a 4, not five, is the dated furnishings. TV set up for easy streaming, there was no dishwasher, linens were great. We would definitely stay here again.

Three night stay. Good private location in Tahoma. Walking distance to Lake. Could have been cleaner, but otherwise nice. Bring HDMI and laptop to watch online subscriptions. Otherwise one channel with rabbit ears. I would stay there again.

Nice quiet setting on a street in the woods

Three and a half stars. Nice, rustic, woodsy home. Has a tendency to get dark, without a lot of optimal lighting locations. Additionally, the dishwasher does not work and the laundry machines are very old, so newer appliances and fixtures are hard to come by. With that being said, it's cozy and comfortable to congregate with your close friends and family. And if you're wondering, a small adult can fit in the rusty high chair.

Simple cabin. Suited our needs
Moriah B. Aug 2017
This house just needs some TLC. The curb appeal could be better with some paint to the outside and taking down the old trash container are some suggestions. The furniture was fine and comfortable, but there needs to be some updates. Specifically, the dishwasher has to be moved into the middle of the kitchen and hooked up to the kitchen sink in order for it to work. Also, the washer and dryer are very old and get very hot.
Manager response:
The property manager is currently working on correcting the issues presented in this review. Thank you!
